Arrived onsite for oven cycle on and off. On inspection pulled the unit and checked the power was getting 248vac. I then turn the unit on to preheat I used rapid. The unit got to 280? in stopped and rebooted . I called WP tech line they said that the UI need to be replaced and maybe the control board.

"Arrived onsite for oven with no power. Checked breaker and it was good, gain access to the oven had 248 to the oven. Checked power to control board and there was no power to the control board. Found the thermal fuse and had 124vac to the thermal fuse but 0 volts coming out of the thermal fuse. Replaced the thermal fuse and the unit came on. The unit is working as designed.

Arrived onsite for a dryer not working. I found the timer switch not closing between C/black wire and H/violet wire when the timer is turned on. I inspected the harness at the timer and found nothing wrong with it. I replaced the timer and tried to start the dryer but nothing happened. I tested L1 circuit to the motor and found 123VAC to the motor at all test points to ground. I tested voltage from T2 to H on the timer and had 13VAC. I traced the neutral circuit and found the connection between all the neutral wires in the control panel had come disconnected in the blue shrink wrap. I connected the harness and tested the dryer. The dryer is working as designed. I stopped and started it multiple times in front of the customer showing him it worked. I tested the amp draw at H on the timer where the timers have been failing and had .10 amps the entire time the dryer was running. This is not going to cause the switch points to fail in the timers. Call complete.

Arrived on site to test unit for buttons getting stuck. Showed builder how to turn it on and off with out pushing the buttons to far back. Job complete and replaced control board.

Arrived on site to follow up on washer that was making noise / shaking. I attempted to remove the washplate but found it was completely stuck to the gearcase. Attempted to separate washplate and could not hammer it out. Advised customer I would need to cut the washplate out and replace it. Customer does not want to spend more money on the unit and will replace. Call complete.

Arrived on site to diagnose upright freezer that is not cooling. Examined unit and found the evaporator covered in frost / iced over causing airflow not to be able to move. Removed evap cover and found 2 wires on the defrost heater completely severed. I was able to depin the connector and repair the wiring with solder seals. Reconnected and verified continuity from the heater. Customer advised to defrost unit to remove ice build up. Repair completed.

"WDT730PAHZ0 Arrived to inspect drying issues. There were no stored error codes and I found the dispenser lid assembly would not operate as designed and I replaced the dispenser. Service test mode showed all functions present and the unit completed the cycle as designed. The customer pre-rinses well and was using pods. I advised against the use due to the excessive amount of detergent creating foam, which prevents the expected heat transfer and made a recommendation for detergent type and amount. I set the rinse agent dispenser to 1 and advised on rinse agent use. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service."

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that has stopped making ice. Upon arrival the customer advised me that the unit began making ice again. I checked that the freezer evap was not ice over it had a good frost pattern on it and the evap fan was running. The was ice in the ice bin did however find that the doors were not sealing properly causing water air to get in. I adjusted the for and the chassis to insure a proper seal.

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that is frosting up in the freezer and leaking. Upon arrival I found that there was ice in the drain pan I removed the ice and also unclogged the drain tube and replace the control and thermistor unit is now operating as designed.

Arrived onsite for a dryer that is making a loud noise when in use. Upon inspection I found that the noise was coming from the the idler pulley. I installed the roller kit and tested the unit and found the unit operating as designed.

"KRMF706ESS01 Arrived to inspect no ice. I found the FC was 13? and the RC was 37. I found the FC evaporator cover had the appearance of a partially frost filled evaporator and inspected. The evaporator was full of frost and I removed and tested. I verified the defrost system was intact. The drain tube assembly was clear but gapped significantly and I corrected. The ice maker fascia to bin gasket was badly folded and I corrected. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service."

"KDTM404KPS1 Arrived to inspect leak. The customer advised me the unit would leak at the front left corner and that it was soapy in appearance. I entered service test mode and found 9-2 and 8-4 error codes stored and I cleared for testing. Within service test mode I found all functions were present and the unit operated as designed. Inspection of the cabinet, gasket and all other areas exposed to water showed no signs of leaks. The customer had been using pods and the rinse agent was at the factory setting of A3. Found the gasket, barely making it above the freezer liner on the non-hinge side. Attempted to adjust the upper hinge and was unsuccessful in amkino any changes to the door leveling. I called Whirlpool techline and spoke to Adrian SR# 7736427232. He had me send several photos of the hinge, door and gasket. He advised that based on the level of the lean of the door, no damage done to the hinges, and in ability to manipulate the upper door hinge, that the unit would be sent to review. We did find a bow on the cabinet in the upper corner where the gasket is not sealing. He advised for me to tell the customer that whirlpool would be back in touch with us or the customer themselves based on the next steps. Call complete."

"MVW4505MW0 Arrived to inspect non-completion and odor. I was not able to detect an odor from the unit and the issue may have been non-related to the machine. There were no stored error codes and I removed and replaced the control and mode shifter, after verifying all other functions were present and the basket assembly was centered within the chassis, to ensure the most current software and to eliminate possibilities. The unit was sitting with equal weight distribution on all four legs and the suspension had no signs of malfunction or mis-installation. The basket was solidly anchored to the gear case output shaft and I found no other signs of excessive mechanical movement. I could not each the MFG tech assist line from the residence and contacted after job completion. Representative Ed, file #7736493213 and all findings and repairs were notated. "Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not drying dishes. Upon further inspection, I found the customer not using rinse aid. Placed the unit is diagnostics showing no error codes. Continued with testing and during this time, using my multimeter, I tested amp draw to each component. I found the unit within amp range on all components namely the element at 7-9amps (photos). I removed the outer door panel and tested the element at the control and found it to be getting 125V (photo) and 15ohms-within ohms range (photo). I made recommendations for use and care to my customer, as well as, rinse aid usage. Customer did not agree with recommendations comparing the unit to old units. I contacted techline and spoke to Rob and advised of the complaint and my findings. Rob advised the customer must use rinse aid and turn the hot water on at the sink to allow the hot water to fill in the tub and there are no parts to replace at this time as unit is operating as designed. "Arrived on site to inspect washer noises. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the unit will make a loud screeching metal on metal noise at the beginning of the spin cycle. Tilted the unit back and removed the cam pulley shield and found gearcase oil on the pulley and be.t shavings on the underside of the shield. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker not producing ice. Upon further inspection, I immediately noticed the UI missing/faded digits (photo). I tested temps I the F1 degrees. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested the ice maker in test 56 and found no error codes. I performed tests 15, 19, 36, 37, 45, 57, & 58 and all tests passed. I found the right RC door gasket badly torn (photo) and the interior liner of the left RC door was badly sunken in at the front and right side (photos). Based off my findings, I am ordering the left RC door, right RC door gasket, ice maker, UI and HV control. Office to schedule return service due to the availability of parts. Ran diagnostics and found stored error code 8/3 overflow , 8/1 no water detected , 4/0 heater not detected , 5/2 door lock error. Cleared and ran test. Found no water entering unit. Disconnected and found valve clogged. Also found low pressure from supply. Notified customer but stated the pool is running and that slows pressure. With it off pressure is normal. When the unit began the spin mode, it became loud and got louder as the spin RPMs increased. I tilted the unit back and checked the rotor and bolt and it was on tight. I removed the washplate/agitator and found a robe belt wrapped around the spindle of the gearcase. Removed the belt and placed the washplate/agitator back in position and retested. Unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site and inspected washer and found both front shocks are not attached to tub. Took pictures. After reconnecting them ran washer and a drain and spin cycle and it is working properly and not moving excessively.

"Arrived onsite for water on the floor by refrigerator. On inspection I pulled the back cover to see if I could spot where the water had come from. The water was turn off, I turn it back and the icemaker dump ice and filled the tray. I saw no water leak, I then dispense water out the front to see if it would leak. I still saw no water leaks. I did notice the moulin was extremely hot to the touch as was the compressor. I clean the coils out and the moulin cooled down to normal temperature. I never could fine the water leak, I informed the customer that it could been a ice that melt and filled the over flow pan and leaked out. The evap in the freezer had no ice buildup on it and the heater ohmed at 24ohms. The bi metal,was 4 ohms.

"Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. Per previous techs diagnosis, I was to remove and replace the RC evap drip pan kit, RC evap fan/harness assembly and drain tube. I pulled the unit out and inspected the drain tube and found it gapped. I removed the tube and cleaned it out and re-installed it and using some silicone, I placed a bead around the opening of the drain tube and sealed the gap (photos). I disassembled the RC section and using my steamer, I removed the ice from the RC evaporator. Removed and replaced the evap drip pan and evap fan/harness assembly and secured the evaporator to the back wall. Cleaned up the ice and water and tested the unit. Unit is operating as designed. I reassembled the unit . No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not advancing past the sensing portion of the cycle. Inspected unit and work area. Round the end of diagnostics and found an F7 E5 (shifter fault) error code. Tested the unit in manual diagnostics testing the spin and agitation. Found agitation working properly but the agitator only spinning when calling for the unit to spin. Checked underneath the unit and confirmed a broken slider. The unit began to work and operate as designed.

"Arrived on site. Hello for a Cody top. That is having a hard time. Turning burners on. Inspected unit and work area. Found multiple burners knobs taped and broken. The customer advised that they thought that the burner initially was closer to the same temperature as the other burners but it felt like it was getting hotter. Turn the unit onto a medium setting and found the unit cycling on and off as designed. Turn the unit down to a lower temperature setting and found it cycling off a lot more frequently. I called whirlpool tech line and spoke to Leon SR # 7736484541. He advised that based on my checks, the unit is working as designed advised that the right front burner is the hottest burner, and will not have the same set temperatures as a lower wattage burner. The unit is working as designed. Call complete."

"WRS571CIHZ02 Arrived to repair door harness. gauge wires had failed and I elected to also correct the two large ones. After soldering and heat shrinking all wires within the harness and applying automotive grade sheathing, the wire issue was corrected and the unit operated as designed within service test mode.

"Arrived on site and replaced pressure sensor recommended by tech line on previous visit. Cycled power and error code has cleared. One of the RV office staff came over and we got a load with quarters and it is progressing normally. Took one video and sent it to KB service management.

"Arrived on site to test unit for no heat, tested unit found unit has power but burner are not getting hot, exposed terminal block and found unit is not receiving proper voltage, L1-N 120VAC, L2-N 240vac and L1-L2 120VAC, this is not correct, explained to contractor but stated that it is correct, met with contractor and forwarded him the picture

Arrived onsite for miswire error and happened to be onsite the same time. Found miswire and corrected. Unit is now operating as designed. All checks good.

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer not heating. Upon further inspection, I removed the lower front panel to gain access to the heating components. I tested the fuse, cutoff and thermostat and all were good. I tested the element and found it open. Removed the element from the housing and found the coils broken I reassembled the unit and left it unplugged for safety. Job completed

Arrived onsite for a washer to possibly replace previous diagnosed parts. I removed the front panel and tested the washer in a light wash. There were no leaks until the unit started agitating and water started running out around the gearcase from the tub seal.

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that has stopped making ice and not dispensing water. Upon inspection I found that the dispenser would work and the ice maker would fill with water after I removed the filter. I recommend to the customer that we replace the filter . The customer decided to contact whirlpool directly to see if they can get a concession or have them send out a new one for them.

Arrived on site. Replaced bimetal and thermostat customer provided powered unit on compressor powered on and fan motor.

Arrived on site for cooling complaint. Found weak air flow to fresh food section no ice build up on evaporator found ice in freezer section and return vent. Checked door seals found bottom flange that runs across both sections indented into cabinet and outer cabinet sticks further out closed door and gap at gasket attempted to adjust gasket same issue. Called tech support sent pictures per tech support and whirlpool will be contacting customerSR#7736480490
