"Arrived on site for a dishwasher that is flashing an F8 E4 (float switch open) error code. Inspected unit and work area. Confirm the customers complaint and found the code flashing immediately upon arrival. I attempted to clear the code, but found it immediately popped back up when canceling the cycle. Checked underneath the unit and found the float switch properly engaged underneath with no water impeding the float switch. Turned off the unit and replaced the float switch.

"Arrived on site refrigerator building up ice in fc. Upon arrival confirmed and found door liner failing and causing gasket to fall out of door. Found unit needs new fc door and foam gasket in fc to resolve issue.

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator not dispensing water or making ice. Upon further inspection, I found a small amount of ice in the bin and the ice maker tray had water in it as it had just harvested a tray of ice. I tested the water dispenser and it dispensed water, but at a very slow rate. Tenant did not know when the filter was last replaced. I recommended replacing the filter and attempted to contact the landlord and left a message for them to return my call to our office.

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker not working. Upon further inspection, I tested temps in the FC section=9 degrees. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested the ice maker in test 56 and found no error codes. Tested in test 57 and the ice maker harvested as designed. I tested the fill tube in test 45 and it filled the tray. Tested the emitter/receiver boards in test 15 and it passed. I tested the ice maker thermistor and fan and both passed. While testing, I found the UI not signaling when I pressed on the keys. I advised the customer that the UI is possible in the beginning stages of failure. Customer advised that they have been in and out of the freezer section getting ice packs frequently. I advised that opening and closing the freezer door could impact the ice maker as the temperature in the freezer will get too high and the ice maker wont harvest. I recommended they keep the unit doors closed as long as possible and monitor the unit. I explained the disclaimer from management regarding the issues weve been experiencing with his unit and no repairs have solved the issues.

"Arrived onsite to repair stuck button error. Verified balance and proceeded to repair. Tested unit and set up under correct model programming. Unit is now operating as designed.

"F5E1 stored in memory and I cleared for testing. I removed the drain line assembly and inspected all connections. I found a piece of clear plastic within the check valve area of the drain line and removed it, but there was also other debris wrapped around the check valve flap that could not be excised and/or removed and I replaced the line. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service.

"Arrived on site to inspect washer leaking water. Upon further inspection, the customer advised the unit is leaking at the back. I found the cold water inlet hose was leaking. I removed the hose and found it with rust in the inside. I advised the customer the hoses would need to be replaced.

Arrived onsite and found unit operating with new noise after install. Customer pointed out the sound of the movement of the cabinet air baffle opening at the beginning of a heat cycle and closing at the end and had not had the noise on their last microwave. Explained the cause of the noise and the reason it is normal and good for insulating the airflow. All checks good.

Arrived onsite for a dryer not heating. I found one side of the dual coil open and the coil swelled up. I installed a coil kit and tested the dryer. The dryer is working as designed. Call complete.

Arrived onsite for a microwave that will not start half the time. I found the secondary door switch on the left side not closing most of the time when the door is shut. I replaced the interlock and tested with the customer multiple times. The microwave is working as designed. Call complete.

I advised the customer the adjustment in this particular model does not create a big difference, but after the adjustment, the customer was satisfied with the results. "KRFF507HPS01 Arrived to inspect no ice. The ice maker fascia had sliver sized pieces of ice, usually associated with restricted water flow, however test mode 45 showed an expected and complete fill. Error mode showed E5 and I tested the thermistor, which was within 1% of the actual ice maker mold temperature, verified via thermography. The voltage line was also well within expected value and test 57 passes and operated as expected. Due to the erratic nature of the issue, I removed and replaced the ice maker and re-tested. The unit showed E0 and I advised the customer to contact us if issues persist. All functions were present and the ice maker filled as designed. No leaks observed during service."

Arrived on site. Replaced fresh food door and side panel ui tested door operation unit working as designed. Ran icemaker test all passed.

Arrived onsite for washer making noise. On inspection I but the unit in diagnostics mode and it had a rubbing noise during agitation cycle and spin cycle. I flipped and the pulley cover was not installed and the pulley was rubbing on it I also noticed the belt was all the way up rubbing on the motor case. I fixed the belt and I assume the customer if the company but a new gear case in. He said he pretty sure they put a gear case. Knowing I calibrated the unit and then ran it diagnostics mode and the rubbing noise was gone. I then put 2 small blankets in the unit and ran the rinse and spin to see if it would make any other noise. Had no issue. I think the other company never calibrated the unit and it was making a grinding noise when going from agitate and spin cycle. After calibration it never made the noise again. The unit is operating as designed. No water leaks detected during service.

"Arrived on site for washer, inspected unit and work area. I re-diagnosed unit and found no oil leak from gearcase. Cam and belt did need to be replaced because it was lose and got damaged. The shaking and noise is normal and I instructed the customer about the noise is the drain hose taping in the back when in spin. The oil that previous tech was seeing is actually grease that comes to lube the bearing and its on all new ones as well. See pictures on SD of no oil."

The customer stated he thought the unit had a control issue because the time for the normal/regular cycle used to be less than an hour but now its like an hour and a half long. I showed the customer that the steam selection had been turned on in that cycle and this cause the added time. I turned steam off and it showed a 55 minute cycle. I explained that whatever options are selected for a cycle, after start is selected the machine will default to those same options the next time that cycle is run. All is working as designed. The customer plugged in in in in the unit began to drain flashing an F9 E1 (long drain) error code. I attempted to clear the code, but the unit still stuck in a drain even though I know water was at the bottom of the tub. Unplug the unit again and found the unit finally quit. Attempted to start a cycle on the unit went straight into a drain and started flashing the F9 E1 error code again. I checked the pressure hose for any obstructions are blockage in the tube and found the tube operating as designed. Replaced the control and tested the unit. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker not dispensing. Upon further inspection, I found the ice bin full of ice and I attempted to dispense cubed and crushed ice and the unit failed and was very loud. I found a rag that had gotten caught in the separator arm and solenoid (photo). I attempted to remove the rag but it kept tearing as I pulled on it. Using my steamer, I sprayed the steam on the rag and loosened it up and was able to remove the ice bin and then removed the remaining pieces of the rag. I placed the ice bin back in its space and tested and the unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

I tested the thermistors and all are within range and getting proper voltage. I made recommendations for use and care and food item placement. Found harness was not secured to heater. Secured connections and test heater. Heater is receiving 120 from control. Is pulling correct amperage and has correct resistance. Arrived on site to diagnose refrigerator with lights out and some noise coming from it. I inspected the unit and found 2 lights out under the icemaker. Replaced both lights. Found the noise the customer was experiencing was damper gear noise. Noise is consistent with most other dampers and is not affecting operation. Unit working as designed at this time. Repair completed.

Arrived on site to replace bin switch. Replaced switch and disabled solid pack setting. Tested unit and confirmed all working as designed. Repair completed.

Arrived onsite for a dishwasher to replace previous diagnosed parts. I replaced the harness and found where the harness had gotten hot at the over fill switch. I replaced the switch and the control. Before starting the machine I saw where the installers used Teflon tape between the hose fitting and the fill valve. I removed the valve and found Teflon tape in it. I replaced the fill valve. I tested the machine in diagnostics and it completed the cycle and works as designed. There were no water leaks present at the time of service. Call complete.

Arrived onsite for water leak in the front left corner. Gain access to the bottom of the unit and saw water marks on the front of the unit. I replaced the dispenser and wiped the water marks off so if it happens again we can pin point where the water is leaking from. No water leaks detected during service.

"John site for a refrigerator that is not cooling. Inspected unit and works area. Customer advised that both sides of increase in temperature, but it has remained cold in the lower portion of the freezer. Did confirm the customers complaint and found a defrost issue in the freezer section. Gained access to the control and checked resistance through the defrost sensor. Found it registering 48.7 k ohms of resistance (under -30?F temperature) indicating a failed thermistor. I check the heater and fan proper resistance. I did not have a thermistor on hand so will order the evaporator thermistor. Replaced the control and rescheduled the customer ; ordrng 1 WPW10384183 (Evap thermistor)"

Arrived on site to test unit for unit sparking. Found unit sparking from support due to rack. Called Techline and will replaced support and touch up the paint. Office to reschedule SR#7736549234; ordrng 1 W10840759 (Support) and 1 Graytouchuppaint (Gray touch up paint)
