"Arrived on site for washer, inspected unit and work area. Customers complaint was unit not draining. Customer had already replaced the drain pump and still did not work. Entered diagnostics and retrieved error codes F8E6 F9E1. Ran a diagnostics and found unit not draining properly. Tilted and found unit had underwear stuck at the bottom of the tub. Removed all items and tested, unit is now operating as designed. No leaks where observed during service. Job completed.

"Arrived on site to inspect ice maker not dispensing. Upon further inspection, I found the ice bin stuck in the housing and found ice in the opening/chute of the bin. Using my steamer, I was able to get the bin freed and removed and found a large mass of ice at the bottom of the bin and inside the bin (photos). I removed all of the ice and removed the ice maker to find the fill chute full of ice due to the ice maker calling for too much water. I cleaned the housing from ice debris and removed and replaced the ice maker and retested. Unit is operating as designed. Ice maker covered under AEX 1 year warranty (10/22). Found the unit unplugged and as soon as the unit was plugged in, found the unit attempting to unlock the lid, but not unlocking. The control would not do anything until the lid was unlocked and kept trying to unlock the lid. Gained access underneath and was able to release the strike from the latch assembly. Replaced the latch assembly and ran the unit three diagnostics. Found an F5 E3 (lid will not unlock) error code. Around the unit through diagnostic testing and all tests worked and operated as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived on site to diagnose washer leaking when in use. Customer said they ended up with maybe 2 cups worth after the last cycle they ran. I tested the unit and found no leaks during a clean washer cycle. I did notice customer had 3 inches of suds inside the unit. I checked the vent and found a clear trail directly under the vent where the unit had leaked. Advised on how to remove suds and run affresh. Checked inside unit and found no leaks or water trails present. Leak is being cause by excessive suds.

"Arrived on site to inspect range with gas smell during use. I tested the oven on bake at 350 degrees and asked the customer if theyre smelling burn off or actual gas odors and they werent sure as this kid their first gas unit. While testing the oven, I demonstrated the difference in odors by turning the cooktop burner on without the flame and the customer smelled the gas odor and advised that the odor was not what they were smelling. I opened the oven door once it was hot enough and the customer advised that was the smell they were experiencing which is the odor of gas burn off. I advised the customer that the gas burn off is normal. I tested the gas line connections at the back of the unit with liquid gas leak detector and found no evidence of a leak. I tested the cooktop burners and all are operating as designed. No gas leaks detected during service. I contacted Whirlpool Safety and spoke to Quincey and advised of my findings. She advised the information received was documented to Reference #7736555052. Job completed."

Arrived on site for an ice machine. That is not making full slabs of ice. Inspected unit and work area. Found the ice bin full of ice and the customer advised that the unit does not make a full slab of ice. Found the unit in the middle of an icemaking cycle and found a full sheet being made on the evaporator plate. Found the unit finish the cycle and harvest and slide across the grid cutter. The customer advised that it did not fill the entire grid cutter which is why she assumed that the unit was not making a false lab. I did explain to the customer that that is normal operation as the grid cutter is larger than the Ice sheet that will come off the evaporator plate. the unit is working as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is still not cooling properly. Inspected unit and work area. Found a defrost issue in the freezer section and gained access to the control. Checked resistance through the heater from the control and found an open line. Disassembled the evaporator section and found all wires connected. Disconnected the freezer Molex and checked resistance through the heater and fuses. Found it registering 87.9 ohms of resistance, indicating a good circuit. I checked resistance from the control again and found an open line. Checked Continuity on the lower harness and the compressor area going up into the molex at the bottom cabinet. Found proper continuity. I called Whirlpool Techline ands spoke to Chris SR# 7736635468. He had me run through a couple more checks and advise that based on the current information, it would appear that there was a broken wire in the cabinet.

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer not heating. Upon further inspection, I tested the unit with the door open and the door switch closed and the unit heated as designed. Using my vent test kit, I tested the airflow to the unit and the first two tests failed (photos). I removed the vent tube from the back of the unit and retested and the unit passed (photo). I disassembled the unit and tested the ignitor and coils and found the coils slightly out of ohms range. The ignitor was good. I removed and replaced the coils; removed the lint from inside the unit and reassembled the unit and retested and unit is heating as designed. I recommended the customer have their vents checked/cleaned. No lint observed at the end of service, job completed."

I found the unit would drip for several seconds after the water valve had shut off and the customer advised it had drilled long-term, but on,y a small amount. Arrived onsite for a MW that is missing the bottom trim. Upon arrival the customer had his own part I installed the bottom trim and tested the unit and found the unit operating as designed.

"Arrived onsite for dryer not working. On inspection the unit had power put the start/pause button was flashing. I checked the door switch it was good. Then checked the belt switch it was good, then checked all the components and the heating element and they were all good. Since everything checked out good I started to look for something out of the box. On further inspection I found the wrinkle free button had been push in and it was caught by the front of the bezel and stayed pressed, the dryer wouldnt with this pressed in. I worked the key free and the unit started right up. The unit is operating as designed.

Arrived on site to follow up on compactir staying in the down position for aeveral hours before retracting. Called tech line and spoke with Steve SR7736623933. Based on available information and being unable to duplicate we opted to replace the motor due to it possibly overheating or failing. I went ahead and replaced the motor and ran it a few times. I found all working properly. I saw loose connections or damaged wiring on and of the switches. Repair completed.

"Arrived on site for a dryer that has a burning smell. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the last time we tried to use the machine, it stopped mid cycle and produced a burning smell. Checked the terminal block and found no evidence of Burnt wires or grounding. Remove the back cover and found no evidence of burnt wires on the backside of the unit. Checked around the motor housing and could not find any issues there. Tested the unit and found the unit heating in tumbling for over 10 minutes and produced no abnormal smells. The customer advised of the issue happened within five minutes of starting the cycle the last time and they were unsure as to what the issue was. I did advise the customer that the only possible explanation I can give them is that it might be learned from the heater housing as there was some brownish lint on the heater housing. Did advise that can cause abnormal smells from time to time when the lint is burned. I called Whirlpool safety teM and spoke to Lukreshia SR# 7736599254. She advised to make no repairs. Advised the customer to call back if any other issues persist. Call complete."

"WA52M7750AV Arrived to inspect non-completion of cycle. The unit had 4C, bC2, 4C, dC, U6, bC2 and U6 stored in memory, newest to oldest. Suspecting a water issue, due to the complaint, I tested the valves and found water would enter, but it was exceptionally slow. I verified water level transducer operation and found it operating as expected, considering the water flow rate. There was notable bearing noise and I tested the unit within Extra High Spin mode and found that while elevated in expected sound levels, the bearings were likely ok.

"Arrived on site to diagnose washer that is not progressing to fill. One arrival customer told me the unit just clicks on the bottom end and doesn't start. I checked for errors and found F7E4 for basket reengagement failure, which lined up with the noise the unit was making. I tested and found unit bouncing between agitate and spin and would not pass Sensing. I replaced the control slider and clutch to remedy. Retested and found unit is making less noise, but will not progress past sensing. It just clicks and agitate till it stops. Ordering a UI (likely software based issue), lower harness and stator. Stator does sound abnormally loud. "Arrived on site for coocktop, inspected unit and work area. Customers complaint was cooktop cracked on the edge. See pictures. Based where the crack is the warranty will not cover the repairs. I have informed the customer about the options and they will contact their extended warranty and Whirlpool to see what else can be done. Job completed."

"Arrived on site for no cool. Compressor running no frost on lower section of evaporator coil diagnosed a leak or insufficient compressor ordering a new compressor,evaporator and filter drier. "WM3470HVA Arrived to inspect shaking. I verified the shaking within service test mode and utilized high-speed imagery to verify the basket and/or spider assembly was bent. There was an out-of-round difference of approximately 8-9mm when viewed under high speed imagery and then was confirmed via manual rotation. The bearings were in satisfactory condition, with no discernible free-play. I advised the customer the only way to correct the issue would be to replace the spin basket, spider, rear seal and tub seal.

"Arrived on site for dishwasher with upper rack falling and door not holding in p,ace when open correctly. Upon arrival confirmed issue and found upper racks needing new adjuster kit. Replaced kit and found rack staying in Place. Found door springs failing to hold tension and causing door to slam. Rescheduled customer for 06/19/23 to complete repairs with new door springs. Arrived on site for tipping breaker every several hours. Upon arrival powered unit with non GFCI circuit. Customer states that unit has operated for about a week on the different circuit. Ran diagnostics and all components operate correctly. Forced defrost heater and is energizing and pulling 4.66 amps. Ran ice maker harvest and is operating correctly. Ran power cord to several other GFCI outlet and will not Tripp. Contacted techline for assistance. Tech had me check polarity to be sure neutral and ground are correct Tech recommended calling Square D breaker manufacturer. Unit is operating as designed.

"Arrived on site to test unit for no ice production. Found ice maker was stuck mid cycle. Replaced faulty ice maker, completed harvest with no issues. No leaks detected. Job complete."

Arrived on site. Adjusted left hinge assembly tested door operation good.

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher leaking water. Upon further inspection, the customer advised the unit leaks just under the door just enough to soak a towel. I opened the door and inspected the door gasket and found it crimped in the upper left corner (photo) and found dry water streaks on the gasket all the way around the gasket. I removed the toeplate and found no evidence of a leak under the unit. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and tested. Once the tub filled with water, I tested the motor several times and found water beginning to leak at the top left corner of the door gasket (photo). I advised the customer of my findings. No water leaks observed during service."

"Arrived on site to install a part for a customer on their front load washer. Upon arrival, the customer advised that they have a small leak on the unit coming from the bellow or door seal and they provided a photo of the tear which was next to the drain port at the front bottom of the bellow.I removed and replaced the bellow and tested the unit. Unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"KRFC704FPS03 Arrived to inspect cooling issue. The RC evaporator, now free of frost and the rest of the system apparently operational, I could now rely on the 6 hour low, high and average temperatures. I found the unit displaying very erratic highs and lows in both the FC and RC and showed acceptable 6 hour averages. This is indicative of a rare occurrence in this chassis that has been resolved by replacing the Orion control, No leaks observed during service. "Arrived on site for loud noise and cooling complaint in freezer. Removed drawers and evaporator cover found evaporator covered in ice,styrofoam cover stuck to ice. Ran diagnostics heater powered on diagnosed control not running through a defrost cycle,let unit run in defrost test,replaced main control,ran defrost test to further defrost evaporator.

Arrived on site for not heating. Upon arrival test unit and is heating correctly. Did vent test and test passed. Instructed customer how to use different cycle settings. Unit is operating as designed. Job complete

Arrived on site for washer showing f5e1 in diagnostics. Upon further inspection I found strike broken. Replaced strike (W11457841) under M17DO00APL1. Tested washer in normal cycle and found it working as designed with no leaks. Call complete
