"Arrived on site to diagnose refrigerator not making ice and lost cooling in FC. On arrival customer let me know that the unit had been making ice and temps were normal again. Ice bin was full, and FC was at 0 with no abnormal noises. I changed the defrost mode from adaptive to standard to remove any possibility of the defrost cycle running too long. At this time there are no verifiable failures present. Call completed."

Arrived onsite for a DW that is leaving water at the bottom at the end of the cycle. Upon arrival I found that the was water left at the bottom of the unit I put the unit in diag and found no codes then I ran the unit and found the unit drain and washing properly. The check valve operated properly there was a high loop in the drain hose and there was no debris in the pump it the filter well. Due to the seemingly random nature of the issue I and replaced the control and tested the unit and found the unit operating as designed.

Arrived on site for a range that is not working properly in the oven. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that things are just taking longer than they should to cook. I tested both bake and broil elements and found both to be working. Took temperature of the unit on a 425?F bake cycle and found temperature cycling between 450 and 330?F. Found the average temperature inside of the unit around 395?F indicating the temperature needed to be calibrated. Adjusted the temperature calibration and tested the unit. They advised that they could get the unit to cancel and drain out the water, but it would not go past the agitation portion of the cycle. I went through manual diagnostics and tested the agitation setting. Found the whole basket agitate instead of just the agitator. "Arrived on site for refrigerator, inspected unit and work area. Gained access to remove old compressor and install new compressor. Braced new compressor and vacuumed the system for 15 min. After vacuuming the system I waited 15 to make sure system had no leaks and I did not lose any vacuum. I charged up the system with R600 47g . Plugged unit in and advised CX to let cool for 24hrs. No leaks where observed during service. Job completed."

Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is leaking water into the refrigerator section from the freezer section. Inspected the unit and work area. Found that the drain underneath the freezer evaporator was clogged with ice causing water to flow into the refrigerator section. Steamed out the ice and unclog the hole. Also added silicone around the edges of the freezer door due to minor frost buildup around the door edges. The unit is now working as designed. Call complete.

"MHW5630HW3 Arrived to inspect stalling cycle. I found F5E2 stored in memory and I cleared for testing. I discussed the issue with the customer and found the likely cause for the PF is they are shutting off the circuit breaker when the unit appears to go into extended spin, after the timer on the UI reaches one minute and it stalls. Intermittently, the unit will be sitting with 1 minute displayed and the garments are soaking wet. I ran the unit through multiple manual and automatic tests and found no electronic or electrical supply issues and the unit did complete high speed spin. However, I did hear a squeal on the first high speed spin attempt and it was clearly the rear bearing inner seal. Further testing revealed the front right leg of the unit was not bearing any weight and if the machine was pushed back, it would rock and the leg could be spun. If further issues occur prior to return, contact tech GC. Due to the door lock error code being a commonality throughout all services, I am ordering W11565030 and will install upon return. ; ordrng 1 W11565030 (Door Lock)"

Arrived onsite for a dryer that shuts down and shows an F3E3 open or shorted inlet thermistor error. I went in diagnostics and confirmed the F3E3 error and erased it. I tested the thermistor from the control and it showed 55.5 ohms at 73 degrees which is good. I tested the dryer on a timed dry high heat cycle and the dryer worked as designed and never failed. I ran a regular cycle on medium heat and the unit never failed. I made sure the connector was tight at the control for the thermistors. At this time all is working as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that isn making a loud noise when in use. Upon arrival I found that the unit was in defrost. I put the unit in diag mode and ran the compressor and found that it ran normally with no loud noise as the customer described to where he could hear it in the next room, I ran all of the fans in the unit one by one and found that they ran normally with no loud noise either. But the customer did point out to me that the lower door hing squeaks when you clothe door. I attempted to adjust and gears the hinges but still no change I am ordering the hinges and returning on 09/06/23; ordrng 1 W11233372 (Bottom HINGE-DOOR)"

"Arrived on site to inspect range oven not turning off. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that they were baking at 450 degrees and when they went to turn the unit off at the control, the oven would not turn off and they could hear the control relays making a popping noise. I found the unit unplugged and I tested voltage at the wall and got 243V. Removed the back panel and inspected the control and found no damage to the control and inspected the terminal block and the harness checked good. Plugged the unit in and tested the unit on bake at 350 degrees and measured voltage at the bake and broil elements and got 243V at both. Tested voltage at the terminal block and got 243V. Monitored temperatures and voltages while testing and when the unit reached preheat temp of 350, I allowed the unit to cycle for approximately 5-6 minutes then turned it off and monitored operations. The unit operated as designed and turned off when I pressed cancel on the control. I advised the customer of my testings and findings and recommended replacing the main control due to a possible relay sticking and allowing the unit to continue to heat. I contacted Whirlpool Safety and spoke to Callie and advised of my testings and findings and recommended the main control be replaced. Callie provided concession #W18BC50WPL1 to warranty all repairs to the unit and provided SR#7737103518. I removed and replaced the main control and retested and unit operated as designed. I tested the cooktop burners and they are operating as designed. Job completed."

I explained to the customer that this unit does not come with an air filter and he only needed to change the water filter when the change filter light came on. I showed the customer in the owners manual the option of getting a preserve filter for the vegetable bin. Call complete.

Arrived on site for loud dryer . Found belt had grooved tension pulley . Replaced belt and pulley. Unit is now functioning properly . Cleaned lint out . Recommend having vents cleaned . Job complete

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is freezing items in the refrigerator section. Inspected unit and work area. Found the refrigerator at 19?F and the customer advised the unit always freezes everything inside of the refrigerator section. Checked the refrigerator thermistor and found it reading, 1.81 kg ohms of resistance, indicating the temperature was above 100?F. Replaced the refrigerator thermistor and tested the unit. The unit began to cool and operate as designed. Advised the customer to keep an eye on the unit and call back if any other issues persist. Call complete."

"Arrived onsite for range bake not working. On inspection found that the broil is working correctly, but no bake. Getting 123 vac to the broil on the DSI board, the bake is getting 0vac on the DSI board. I replaced the DSI and when I talked to WP tech line they said to change the control board since there is no voltage to the bake side. I tested the igniter wire and tested good. On further inspection found the wire red with white stripe is shorted. Ordering a wiring harness.Sr7737163828; ordrng 1 W11458864 (Main harness) and 1 W11564647 (Console)"

Arrived on site for microwave making noise . Unit is heating and vent working . Found top mounting bolts loose and unit is vibrating and making noise . Tightened mounting brackets . Noise went away . Job complete

"Arrived onsite for ice ball on shelf below icemaker. On inspection I could see splash evidence in the freezer. The icemaker was replaced In April, ordering the icemaker fill tube to see. You can see were the water splashed and froze inside the FC. No water leaks detected during service.; ordrng 1 1111111111 (Icemaker fill tube. Could not fine it. #58 might be it.)"

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator with moisture build up on the outside of the doors. I found the vertical mullion sweating and moisture running down and collecting in the deli drawer gasket. I found the vertical mullion turned off on the UI in test 35. I turned it on and tested finding it drawing .50DCA and working as designed. Call complete.
