"Arrived onsite for heat coming out of oven. On inspection the area where the heat is coming out of on the wall mount oven is the vent. The issue is that it is right below the cooktop. If you have the oven on and try to cook on the cooktop the hot air from the oven is right on top of your feet. This setup is a safety issue caused by a bad location of the oven. The unit was not secured to the cabinets because the cooktop regulator will not allow the oven to be pushed all the way back so you can mount the oven to the cabinets with screws. Informed the customer to contact the builder to get this resolved before somebody get burn from the hot air coming out of the oven while they cook. Took pics of the regulator and the wires that are exposed in the wall, no wall plate."

"Arrived on site for a dishwasher that is leaking. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit seems to leak several cups of water where they are having to mop up their floor in the kitchen when it does leak. I ran the unit through an auto test and was unable to replicate the issue through the entire diagnostic testing. I ran the unit through a normal wash cycle and sat and watched it for 30 minutes, it finally started leaking from the corner of the door but when I opened up the door and paused it, I could not find any water on the inside where the detergent was sitting. Attempted to replicate the issue again for another 20 minutes, and was unable to. Due to the issue leaking from the door in the door, hinge area, replaced the door gasket and tested the unit. The unit was working and operating as designed with no leaks present during operation. I told the customer to call us back if any other issues persist. Call complete."

Arrived onsite for filter housing not working. On inspection I found that he by pass cap was on the filter head and would not come off by hand. When I raised the front of the unit by pulling it on the tile, the leaking stopped. Leak is likely being caused by tidal waving at the front of the unit due to the downward slope. I leveled the unit and was able to get the right door within 1/8 inch of being flush with the left RC door. I demonstrated to the customer how the door closes and the right door is closer than before being seated even with the left RC door. Customer was good with the adjustment. I ran the service diagnostics cycle and found the washer completing the cycle with the lid locking and working as designed. I tried running a wash cycle and when start is depressed and the lights scroll across the screen the lid will not lock. I ran a factory calibration cycle and had the same results in a wash cycle. (SV)Arrived on site for ITS MAKING TOO MUCH ICE complaint. Found IM was completely full to the top. Cutting grid had multiple layers of ice stuck due to amount of ice beneath it. Checked resistance of original bin thermistor found 4k ohms while buried in ice. Out of specs. Replaced and verified main reads bin thermistor in diag test mode. Cleared tub of all ice as it was severely degraded. Unit then began to make ice correctly. Advised 24hrs for full ice production.

Arrived onsite to install previously diagnosed part. Upon arrival I installed the new ui and tested got it connected to the WiFi and tested the unit and found unit operating as designed

"Arrived onsite for a DW that is having issues with the door falling open on its own, and when it is opened it goes way past 90*. And the lower rack will roll of of it. Upon inspection I found that the latch and strike was not locking together well, I replaced them with new ones and found the the door snaps shut better. I the adjust the the door hinge springs so that there is more tension on the door and tested the unit and found unit operating as designed."

"Arrived on site for a wall oven that is flashing an F6 E6 error code. Inspected unit and work area. The customer showed me 10 videos of what happens with her unit and advise that shes has multiple codes that are becoming present. I ran the unit through diagnostics and found an F6 E6 (Upper appliance manager lost communication) and F6 E9 (lower appliance manager lost communication) error codes. The customer stated that this generally happens after steam is blowing out on top of the user interface from the top oven and that the control panel will be unresponsive for 3 to 4 hours before she can use the oven again when this happens. She also stated that when she runs the unit up to 400? on both ovens and turn down the light, sometimes the unit will shut off as well. I checked voltage and polarity and found proper voltage and polarity. Did find that the unit was on its own designated breaker. I tested the unit and diagnostics and could not get any component to fail. I called Whirlpool techline and spoke to Rob SR# 7737300365. Based on everything that I told him, he advised that there were two issues. He stated that one of them is the user interface because the software on it had been updated on those user interfaces, and that that would be what is causing part of the problem. He also stated that the steam coming up and over the user interface is a clear indicator that, theres too much moisture content in the upper oven and advised me to tell the customer that they will need to cover any high moisture foods that they cook in the upper oven. He stated that with as much steam was going over the user interface, that it it into the control area, and potentially cause issues with the controls to short circuit. Arrived onsite for previously diagnosed parts. On inspection found that the fan and the harness were different. On further inspection I saw that the fan had pulsating voltage to it. I turn the FC temp switch off and the fan keep running. I then turn the RC temp switch off and the fan stopped pulsating. I waited a few minutes and turn the RC switch back on and the fan came on and stayed on. The pulsating stopped. Tested the valves and found the cold water valve plugged with debris. Removed and replaced the water valve and tested and the unit passed with no water leaks observed during service. Advised customer of my findings.

"Arrived on site for arrange. That is turning off when the timer is turned off. Inspected unit and work area. The customer also explained that the unit does not seem to hold temperature inside of her oven as when she uses her oven multiple times cooking the same components, hes getting inconsistent Results with her food. Tested the unit several times with the timer. Turning the timer off and turning it back on. I could not replicate the issue. The customer tried it herself and showed me what happens but I found the customer was not turning off the timer first and then turning it back on. I explained the customer that she hast to hit the timer set/off button twice before she can reset her timer. I checked the temperature instead of the oven at a 350?F bake cycle. Found temperatures fluctuating between 325?F and 361?F. Averaging the temperature at 343?F. The customer advised that even though the temperature shows that to be correct, she is still burning several of her items. I called whirlpool techline and spoke to Kurt SR# 7737090152. He advised that based on all of our checks, the unit is working as designed and the customer would need to re-calibrate the unit if she believes that the unit is over cooking her items. Went ahead and re-calibrated the oven for her by turning the unit down 10?. I did explain to the customer how to calibrate her oven and that she may need to adjust the calibration depending on how she felt the unit was cooking. The unit is working as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived on site to inspect range error codes. Upon further inspection, I found F2E1-shorted key, on the control display. "Arrived on site to diagnose dryer making a metallic whining sound when in use. Tested unit and confirmed abnormal noise, sounded like it was coming from blower area. Disassembled unit and found a wadded up dryer sheet had wedged itself between the blower wheel and the housing, and the noise was the wheel rubbing against it. I removed the dryer sheet and tested the unit. Confirmed sound was gone."

Arrived onsite to replace faulty clamp. Replaced clamp and tested. Unit is now functioning properly. No leaks present at this time. Job complete

"Arrived onsite for washer making noise. On inspection found that the pulley had broken off the gearcase spindle. I tried to remove the cam nut and it would not come off. I installed a new gearcase,cam & belt. Tested the unit in diagnostics mode, completed the diagnostic cycle and no water leaks detected during service."

Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics and checked for ice maker error code in test 56 and found E2-motor lost position. I tested the motor in test 57 and 59 and both tests failed. Unit is operating as designed, otherwise. I am ordering the RC ice maker and HV control and office to schedule return service due to the availability of parts. No water leaks observed during service. Arrived on site for door issues. Adjusted fresh food door hinge tested door operation unit working as designed.

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not drying dishes. Upon further inspection, I found the customer is not using rinse aid and has a water softener system. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and tested. While testing, I tested amp draw to the components and found the element getting 7-9 in wash and drying cycles of diagnostics. At the end of testing, I poured water onto the element to demonstrate to the customer that the element is operating properly. I made recommendations for use and care, as well as, detergent and rinse aid use. I contacted techline and spoke to Steve and advised of the complaint and my findings. Steve provided SR#7737302171. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that is leaking water from underneath. I found the line feeding the reservoir at the isolation valve not pushed all the way in the valve and leaking. I inserted the line properly in the valve and tested the dispenser again and there were no more water leaks present at the time of service. Call complete.

Arrived on site for a washing machine that is leaking water into the basket when the unit is not in use. Inspected unit and work area. I did confirm the customers complaint and found water dripping into the basket while the unit was not in use. Check the water pressure in front. Adequate water pressure. Replaced the inlet valve and tested the unit. Still found water trickling into the basket when it wasnt in. Use indicating the valve sent with me was not good. Re-ordering the valve and reschedule the customer to 9/18.; ordrng 1 W11165546 (Valve)
