"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher in kosher mode. Upon further inspection, I found the clean light flashing an error code. I advised my customer that the unit is not in kosher mode, but is showing error code F8E4-overfill/switch open. I cleared the code and before starting testing, I removed the toeplate and found a large amount of water in the drip pan below (photo). I found the water source connection with a droplet of water at the elbow (photo). I advised my customer of the leak and removed the drip pan and cleared the water from it (photo). I found water on the floor underneath the unit (photos). I continued with testing and found the water leaking from the valve area. I stopped testing and drained the water and pulled the unit out to inspect underneath the unit. I found the water hose connection cross threaded (photo). I removed the connection from the valve and inspected the threads and they are good. Reconnected the hose (photo) and retested in diagnostics and the unit is operating as designed with no further leaks. I obtained photos of the water damage on the cabinet to the left of the unit; the floors in front of the unit and the floors in front of the refrigerator located to the left of the unit. Customer was able to get a video of the water sloshing under the wood floors at the front of the unit (photo). Unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed at the end of service, job completed."

"Arrived on site for a wash machine that has a tub that is leaning against the back wall. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised they were running a load of blankets in the unit and that the unit went completely off-balance, and they have been unable to get the tub to level out sense. Found the tub ring stuck underneath the rear panel bar. I removed the tub ring from underneath that bar and check the suspension. Found the suspension was good. "KBFN502ESS01 Arrived to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. I found the unit cold upon arrival, FC 5? and RC 43? and the FC evaporator was completely encased in frost, with ice at the lower portion of the evaporator and defrost element, denoting a working defrost system. Further inspect revealed the FC lower drawer had a rigid, open cell foam block placed in the area of the light switch contact point. The block prevented full closure of the FC door and likely the cause of the persistent evaporator freezing. I removed the block and defrosted the evap, noting the unit started cooling as expected. The customer will contact us if issues persist. Warranty applied to service, no leaks observed during service."

"Arrived onsite for washer making a grinding noise. On inspection ran the unit In diagnostic and the noise was not there. Customer showed me a video of the noise and it was a plastic grinding noise. I gain access to the bottom of the unit and found a white powder in the pulley cover, pulled the cover and dropped the clutch and the teeth on the pulley were round off. Found the teeth on the clutch were round off to. Did not see any oil or other evidence of any other issues. Replaced the splutch and tested the unit. It passed the diagnostics mode, true test will be with clothes in the unit. No water leaks detected during service."

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is still making abnormal sounds during the spin portion of the cycle. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the sound generally happens during the medium spin between the wash cycle and the rinse cycle. She advised that the heavier the load, the less the unit makes the sound, but it will still make the sound. She also said that during the final spin , the noise will be less prevalent at higher speeds. I checked the suspension and found the suspension was good. Ran the unit through diagnostic testing, and everything ran and operated as designed. I checked underneath the unit and found it a slight issue with the belt slipping on the cam. I spoke to GC and was advised to replace the belt, Kim, and actuator in case, if the shifter wasnt properly shifting the unit into a proper spin and causing possible, rubbing sounds. Went ahead and replaced all three parts. I called Whirlpool techline and spoke to Butch SR# 7737233030. I advised him as to what has been done to this unit and all of my checks. The customer requested to show him a video of the sound that she was hearing. He advised that the video did not sound completely abnormal in regards to these units. He stated that because this unit is filled with a lot of mechanical parts, that she may be hearing noises that she may have heard before or new noises from these units, but that because the unit is fully operational and working as designed, he would not repair any other parts due to, the complaint, the customer is giving. Advised that based on what the customer is saying, there is nothing that he can say that would be an issue with the unit, and that there may be some issue with the hoses off the back of the unit or water inside of the water ring making more sound during lower speed spins. The unit is working as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher gasket issues. Upon further inspection, I found the door gasket was hanging off the tub in the upper left corner. I was able to adjust the gasket and set it back in place. Tested the racks by pulling them out and sliding them back in and found when pulling the 3rd level rack out, the slide lock was grabbing at the gasket. I made recommendations on 3rd level rack use and its movements to my customer as there is no repair to correct this issue other than changing the way the rack is pulled out and slid back in. Arrived onsite and found ui not receiving power. Determined door harness to have continuity. Replaced main control and UI. Unit is still not operating. Verified that the control is generating power to the ui but the harness at the door connection does not have voltage. Reported findings to techline. Sr#7737335406.

"KBFC42FTS03 GP arrived on site to inspect water leaking from underneath refrigerator and ice in the freezer. Upon arrival the FC door was slightly ajar on the right side and there was water pooling underneath the unit and a sheet of ice on the FC floor. Further inspection revealed gapping in the lower right side of the FC gasket and moisture where the gasket should have been in contact with the cabinet. Discovered a square of foam taped to the back of the main FC drawer on the right side making contact with the light switch preventing the right side from fully seating when the door is closed. I suspect that one of the servicer(s) that had worked on the unit prior to Appliance Express, had applied the 1/8 foam, self stick spacer, to prevent some unknown symptom. I removed the non-factory spacer and tested. The door function and fitment was as expected and the gasket started sealing around the FC cavity opening. Operational test good, no leaks of the water supply observed during service."

After 11 minutes unit claimed to preheat with internal temp of 397. Monitored the heat cycle and temperatures ranged as follows, low 327, high 373, low 323, high 373 averaging out at 349. Unit is operating as designed. Leveled the unit and I nformed the customer of my findings."

KDTE204KPS1 GP arrived on site to inspect drain loop not being adequate. Inspected and found the drain loop slightly lower than ideal. Readjusted and secured the loop in 2 locations to prevent future issues. Gave customer tips on usage. No water leaks observed during service.

"Arrived on site to diagnose washer not draining. Verified no drain error, and pump just buzzing. The unit is stuck on a drain loop with or without the pressure hose attached. I replaced the control to resolve. Unit still did not drain, likely due to pump burning out. Replaced drain pump and tested. Verified all working aa designed. Repair completed."

"Arrived onsite for a refrigerator not making ice. On arrival I found the bottom of the ice bucket with some ice. The customer stated it was all the ice made in the last 24 hours. I checked temps and found the temperature at the icemaker only getting down to 13 degrees. I tested the FC thermistor and found when it was in a 32 degree ice bath it was reading resistance for 37 degrees and when it was dropping it would show open at times. The thermistor needs to be replaced. The customer has received two orders from Whirlpool for the metal grille and the plastic skirt and both do not fit this unit. The mounting holes for the grille line up correctly but the punch out for the filter housing is an 1 5/16 to far to the right to go over the filter housing. I sent all this info to SR for parts research along with photos. We also called techline and spoke with Steve and we found out someone had put in a parts research for this same issue, SR# 7737341938. Techline had us move the filter housing over to the right and there was another hole there that we mounted it to and the grille fit properly. "Arrived on site to install previously ordered parts. Upon arrival,customer indeed has unit thawed. Inspected defrost components and found RC drain pan bowed. Used shims to correct issue. Test drain using quart of water and all water drains correctly. Ran diagnostics to test all components and all components operate correctly. Unit is operating as designed. Job complete"

(SV) Ui not responding correctly. Ui will activate the wrong component. Replaced ui and verified ui function by manual touch to the springs. When properly installed ui will activate on its own. Reverified the ui is functioning correctly on its own. Found glass ui plate is shorting across the buttons. Called TL spoke to Robert. Found glass panel is not replaceable SR #7737335074 Submitted for review.

Arrived onsite and repaired unit by replacing the compressor. Installed uv drier and access valve. Checked for restrictions and leaks. Pulled vacuum for 20 minutes which held. recharged the system with 57g of r600a. Unit is running properly. Advised customer on repair and that normal function should be observed prior to loading the unit full with groceries.

Arrived on site to test unit for condensation build up on horizontal mullion between pantry drawer and RC doors. Switched heater setting to always on per Techline. Advised to monitor. No leaks detected. Job complete. SR#7737337230

Arrived on site to test unit for unit taking for ever to preheat and not getting to temp correctly. Test unit and found broken bake element. Replaced bake element test unit and unit preheated correctly job complete.

Arrived on site to install icemaker per previous diagnosis. Replaced leaking icemaker with new. Unit should produce ice as soon as temps get back to harvest level. Repair completed.

"Arrived on site for a dryer that wont start a cycle. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit was working fine and then when she went to change the cycle, it stopped working all together. I attempted to turn the timer knob over and felt, no resistance. Checked the knob and found it broken. The unit will need a new timer and knob for repair. Arrived onsite for slow flooding from unknown dishwasher cause. Determined that the inlet valve was weeping into the tube and causing overflow. Ordering valve to repair. ; ordrng 1 W11434044 (Inlet valve)

"Arrived on site for washer not staying balanced during final rinse/spin. Upon arrival found the following errors: F8E1, F5E4, F0E2, F0E1. Inspected rotor and stator and found no failures. Dampener rods were intact. Found inlet valves failing and will need office to reschedule due customer not being available for repairs. Arrived onsite for a rand with a damaged cooktop. Upon arrival I inspected the top and found that the Silicone was damaged. I will return with the cooktop on 09/22/23; schdld next appmnt for 9/22 FRI !

Arrived onsite to install properly diagnosed parts. Upon arrival I installed the new sump&motor W11613479. And tested the unit and found unit operating as designed

"WRV986FDEM01 GP arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. Installed the LH &RH stops, removed and replaced the adapter and replaced the door gasket. Properly seated and sealed the drain tube and leveled the unit. No water leaks observed during service."

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that will not power on. Inspected unit and work area. The customer had unplugged the unit after the unit was unresponsive and has not tried it since. I confirmed the customers complaint, and as the unit was plugged in, I found the unit stuck in a drain. held down the start button for 5 to 7 seconds for the drain pump to check off and turn the unit back on. On the unit illuminating and working as designed. I ran the unit through diagnostics and did not find any stored error codes. I ran the unit through an auto test, and the unit worked and operated as designed. I started a cycle and found the unit working in operating as designed. I did explain to the customer that if their unit gets off balance that this can happen, and that they just need to press and hold the start button until the drain pump stops to cancel out the cycle. The unit is working as designed. Call complete."
