Arrived onsite for a refrigerator to replace the previous diagnosed parts and also check why the unit is not dispensing the ice. The customer stated after they set the temp in the FC to -8 degrees it made ice just fine but its not dispensing the ice. I replaced the defective FC thermistor. I found the ice chute packed with crushed ice and a few cubes. I tested the ice door and found it working properly and sealing properly. I tested the motor and found it and the auger working as designed. I removed all of the ice from the chute and all works as designed. I found the refrigerator set on crushed ice. I advised the customer on using the crushed ice setting. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that wont drain. Inspected unit and work area. Confirm the customers complaint and found water still stuck inside of the drum. When attempting to turn off the washer, the unit popped up with an F9 E1 (long drain) error code. Found the unit was not even attempting to drain. Gained access to the drain pump and found one of the wires broken going to the drain pump. Checked resistance across the drain pump and found registering 20.6 ohms of resistance, indicating that the drain pump was good. Ordering the lower harness and will return with the control just in case. Rescheduled the customer to 9/27.; ordrng 1 W11568984 (Lower harness)"

Upon further inspection, I tested the unit with the door open and the door switch closed and I found the heating element illuminating in the back left corner vent area and the unit getting hot. Using my vent test kit, I tested the airflow in the unit and the first two tests failed (photos). I removed the vent tube at the back of the unit and retested and the unit passed. I advised the customer they would need to contact the apartment complex maintenance and have the vents checked/cleaned. No lint observed within the unit and no repairs needed at this time. Arrived onsite for a washer that is not dispensing detergent. I checked the washer for stored error codes and found none. I ran the diagnostics cycle and tested voltage at the molex for the detergent pump and had 120VAC and found detergent entering the machine. I showed the customer the suds in the machine. The customer had the detergent concentration set on 6 and it should have been on 2 for the detergent they are using. I set the hardness selection to hard for their water. I ran a normal cycle and found the pump running when it called for detergent. I explained to the customer that it is going to sense the load weight and pump the detergent accordingly by what the washer senses. I explained that they should not see suds like I showed him during the diagnostics test and only see a few bubbles. The machine is working as designed. There were no water leaks present at the time of service. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for an ice machine that is not even making any ice at this point. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that after the last technician installed the recirculation pump, he never stayed to make sure that it actually harvested ice. She advised that it never actually dropped ice and Was just running for 24 hours without dropping any ice. I ran the unit through an icemaking cycle and found the evaporator plate would not even get the water cold. Checked underneath and found frost buildup on the refrigerant line going to the evaporator plate for the evaporator plate lukewarm indicating a leak of refrigerant. I am ordering a compressor, dryer, access, valve, and evaporator for repair. I checked the part number on the box and it is the correct part number for this model. I took multiple photos. "Arrived on site for a microwave that popped and now has no power. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that his mother was using his microwave for over an hour and a half making microwave potatoes. After his mother was done, the next time they used it, there was a big pop inside of the microwave, and they smelled smoke. Called the unit down from the wall and disassembled the unit. Could not find any grounded wiring or visibly failed parts. Found all connections were good. Checked the door switches and found all door switches, operational and functional. Found the fuse open indicating an issue with the door switch or high-voltage components. I called Whirlpool safety team and spoke to Kelley SR# 7737332355. She advised to proceed with repair. I went ahead and replaced the fuse, transformer, capacitor, diode, and Magnetron. I tested the unit several times and the unit is working as designed. Call complete."
