Arrived onsite for a refrigerator not making ice but the temperatures in the compartments are good. I found the FC at -2 degrees when set at 0 and the icebox temp was at 6 degrees with the icebox fan running. I found no water in the mold and an E5 stored error. I found the icemaker going through a harvest cycle. I ran a fill test and found no water entering the mold and the valve just humming. I tested the heater and found it working. I used a piece of tubing and tested the valve finding it working as designed. I ran the heater for 10 minutes and tested the fill again and the mold filled with water. I explained to the customer that either a piece of trash got caught in the valve after the new install that caused it to weep and freeze the fill tube or the icemaker is bad. The customer will monitor and call back if it stops producing ice and if it does we will need to order an icemaker. Call complete.

Upon further inspection, I tested temps using my multimeter and placed my thermal couple in the center of the middle rack and tested on Bake at 350 degrees. My preheat temp was 351 but after that the unit would not get back to temp. I removed and replaced the main control and retested and my preheat temp was 384 degrees. My next four readings were 317, 379, 328, 378 for an average temp of 357.2 degrees. Unit is operating as designed/within manufacturers specs. Job completed."

"WRF767SDHZ04 Arrived to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. I found the purposefully disconnected connector for the valves and tested. I discovered the isolation valve was operating incorrectly and one of the diodes within the lower harness was partially shorted and would allow voltage when under load. Further testing revealed the ice maker in the FC was the likely cause of the initial failure and I removed it from the circuit, as it was overflowed and the gear head was swamped. I removed and replaced the harness and control as an added measure and tested. At that point, the isolation valve would only receive 70VAC and the dispenser valve, approximately 12VAC and variable. Due to the prior found and verified control catastrophic failure and current readings, I suspected an internal harness failure. There was also an area on the lower part of the back outer skin that was raised at an angle, from upper left to lower right at 12, extending down and when pressed on, air could be heard squeezing out and the metal deformed 3/8. I contacted the MFG and advised Tech Adrian of my findings. The unit has a failed internal harness issue and cannot be repaired. SR# 7737453478. The unit has been submitted for review. No leaks observed during service and water to the unit shut off."

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator not cooling. Upon further inspection, I found both compartments room temp. I could hear what sounded like water running coming from the back of the unit. Pulled the unit out and found the back panel badly damaged (photo) and the inlet valve badly bent (photo). I could hear the water running sound coming from inside the cabinet at the back right side just above the Yoder loop. Removed the back cover and inspected the filter drier and found an oily substance on the drier and metal pan under it (photo). Using my liquid leak detector, I checked the top of the drier where it meets the Yoder loop and found a small leak (photo). I unplugged the unit and could hear the water running noise slowly stop. When I plugged the unit back in, the noise slowly began again. I advised the customer that the sealed system would need to be repaired. Arrived onsite for a range that is clicking. Upon arrival I found that the unit will click multiple times but the when you open the bottom drawer it ignites right away. KRFC704FSS01 PG arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker not working. Upon arrival I tested temps and found RC 39 and FC -10. Inspected the ice maker and found the bin full of misshapen ice and that there was ice in the mold but there was a sheet of newly forming ice on top of the existing cubes indicating that the ice maker had not been dumping ice and overfilling. Replaced the ice maker and tested and the operational test was successful. Leveled the unit and found that one of the RC gaskets was worn. Ordering the gasket for return service. Found no dc voltage from hv control goin to c evap thermistor and rc evap harness lock had cracked off and was loose. Replaced ui control, hv control and rc evap fan harnesss. Found evap frost pattern even across coils. Informed customer to give unit 24 hrs to stabilize temps. Call complete"

Arrived on site to test unit for squeaking noise. Found two rear rollers were seized causing noise. Replaced all 4 rollers and noise is no longer present. Placed sound pads underneath motor and front heating element mount. Job complete.

"Arrived on site to inspect wall oven with no display. Upon further inspection, I found the unit display locked and would not unlock. I cycled power to,the unit and attempted to place it in diagnostics and the control panel would not respond other than showing the control panel is locked. Arrived onsite for refrigerator not cooling. On inspection the fc was 33? and rc was 57?. The customer said that the fc has been as low as 27? and as high as 55?. Took a amp really on the compressor and it was .92 amps and the temp was 130?. Gain access to the evap and the top of the evap had a strange frost pattern (looked like the mumps). Going to order Sealed system. "Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that is getting too cold and the icemaker is working intermittently. I found the FC at 6 degrees and set on 2 degrees. I found the RC at 33 degrees when set at 39 degrees. I found the refrigerator getting too cold because the diffuser is not opening and closing correctly. I found frost build up under the ice bucket caused from warm air leaks around the ice door and chute. I found ice cubes getting stuck to the bale arm of the icemaker because of the warm air leaks and this is causing the arm to hit the cover and make the icemaker think the bin is full. All three parts need to be replaced. Ordering W11236851 diffuser, W11098702 ice door, and W11573761 chute. "Arrived on site to diagnose range that is not heating properly. On arrival spoke with builder who said inspector noted the unit is more than 25 degrees when cycling. I advised this is normal per whirlpool and there is no documented temperature allowance when running bake cycles. I tested the unit and confirmed a normal bake cycle ran from 313 - 385, which places it right around 350. Unit working as designed. CAll complete."

Arrived onsite for refrigerator water not working. On inspection found that the water is working fine. I did a test on the IM and it can not find home plate on one test. The other test Siam that the motor was not working on the IM. Ordering a new IM. No water leaks detected during service. ; ordrng 1 W10873791 (IM)

On arrival to dishwasher found middle rack rail was catching on the tub. Adjusted and reset the clip and rack no long drops from position. No leaks observed during service. Operational test good. Job complete.

"WRS325SDHZ05 GP arrived on site to inspect refrigerator not cooling, leaking and not making ice. Checked the temperature and found -7 in theFC and 36 in the RC. Found tracer dye on the floor underneath the unit. Also found compressor oil from previous repairs in the drip pan and evidence that there has been an overflow of liquid. Vacuumed the oil out of the drip pan and filled it with water to check for leaks and found none. Found no further evidence of leaking. Upon inspection of the ice maker in found the ice maker turned off. Turned the ice maker on and it found home position. Cycled the ice maker and it harvested and filled as designed. No water leaks observed during service."

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that wont agitate. Inspected unit and work area. Did confirm the customers complaint and found the whole basket turn whenever the unit should have been agitating. Checked Internet, the washer and found the actuator broken. Replaced the shifter actuator and tested the unit. The unit begin to work and agitate as design. Call complete."

"Arrived onsite for a washer that did not complete a cycle once when customer was washing a comforter. Upon arrival I visually inspected the unit and found that the harness, gearcase, cam, and actuator all good. I ran the unit with a customer in it like the customer did and found that the unit operated as designed. This issue may have been a fluke. Unit is operating as designed."
