WRS325SDHZ08 arrived on site to inspect a refrigerator ice maker not making ice. Customer stated that temps are fine. RC=37 FC=9(and dropping). Upon inspection I found that there was ice in the ice maker. Attempted to run the ice maker test and the unit did not perform. Removed power from the ice maker and restored it and the ice maker did not cycle to the home position. Removed the ice maker and tested the voltage and found 123VAC going to the ice maker. Replaced the ice maker and applied power and the unit found the home position. Ran the ice maker test and the unit performed as designed. No water leaks observed during service.

Arrived on site for dryer needing thermistor. Upon arrival found thermistor working within specs. Inspected heating hardware and found no failures. Found L2 connection on terminal block was fried. Upon arrival I put the unit in diagnostic and found codes stored. f6e1 Inlet Water - Low/No Water and F6E2 Inlet Water - Fill Valve Electrical Problem. But the unit would fill with water every time I replaced the control as it may be reading the info from water inlet flow meter wrong, I ran the unit in diagnostic again this time making sure the heater got voltage with it did and heated like normal. I did notice the customer are using pods and at the time was using too much rinse aid I advised the customers on detergent use as at times the temp sensor can be tricked by the excess soapsuds and lock the heater out at the end of the cycle. And I am having the customer monitor the unit to see if the performance gets better"

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer not heating. Upon further inspection, I tested the airflow to the unit and found it passed the first test (photo). When I went to test the unit for heat, the unit failed to turn on. I verified voltage at the wall and unit. After cycling power, the unit turned on. I found the neutral was wired with the ground at the terminal block and corrected. I tested temps at the vent tube at the back with my multimeter and thermal couple. On High temp, the temperature reached 152 degrees and on medium setting, the temps reached 145 degrees; both temp readings are within range of the manufacturer settings. I tested the components at the back and found the fuse, thermal cutoffs and thermostat were all good. I removed the element and found the middle metal plate was blackened and beginning to warp. I replaced the element and retested the unit and it is operating as designed. No lint observed during service, job completed."

"JGS1450FS0 arrived on site to inspect a range with a F2E1 error code, heat coming from the right side, long cook times and a drawer off the railing. Upon arrival I found the right side drawer railing was not mounted to the chassis. Remounted the rail and now the drawer is seated properly. Inspected the door and found it slightly tilted out on the right side. Removed the door and inspected thoroughly but I was unable to find and bends or warping in the door or the cabinet. Checked for error codes and found the F2E1 code. Cleared the code for testing. I leveled the unit and turned on the oven to test the temp and felt the heat escaping from the right side of the door. Ordering the door liner to fix misaligned door. Tested the temperature of the oven and found it averaging well above 350. Checked the offset and found a 15 degree offset. Removed the offset and informed the customer of my findings. No gas leaks detected during service.; ordrng 1 W10902192 (Door liner)"

"Arrived onsite for a washer that sometimes will just beep and flash when selecting a cycle and other times it will work but when start is selected it will not do anything unless I push on the front of the lid then it works. I found the encoder on the UI not responding correctly but everything else on the UI was working. I found the door switch in the latch failing. I replaced the console and the latch. I tested the washer and found it hammering when agitating to the left. I inspected the lower unit and found oil all over the chassis and rotor. Arrived onsite for dishwasher with no water. On inspection I found the water turn off for the dishwasher. Turn the water back on and ran the unit in diagnostics mode. It completed the diagnostics cycle with no issues. Found that they turn the wrong knob off due to a leak in the faucet. No leaks detected during service.

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher with burning odors. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that they used the unit and at the end they could smell something burning. I inspected the heating element and found some debris on the element on the left side which appeared to be melted plastic. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and tested. When the element came on, I tested amp draw and to 7-9 amps during wash and drying cycles. I wetted a cloth and attempted to remove the debris, but it would not come off. I removed and replaced the heating element and retested and unit is operating as designed. I contacted Whirlpool Safety Dept and spoke to Ken and advised of my findings and repairs. "Arrived on site for a washing machine that is going off balance and is not completing cycles. Inspected unit and work area. Found the washer leaning towards the front with the tub leaning up against the front panel. Adjust the feet on the washer to level out the unit. The customer advised that the unit fixed itself and has been working for the past several washes. She advised that when she initially called in, she was washing a quilt that was consistently not finishing out the cycle. Ran the unit through diagnostics and found an F0 E9 (off-balance pause) error code. I ran the unit through an auto test in the unit ran and operated as designed. I tested the suspension and found the suspension was good. I did advise the customer of the most likely issue with her load was the fact that heavy duty items such as quilts, rugs, and other bulky items like that can cause off-balance issues from time to time. Arrived onsite for a dryer that runs but doesnt heat. I found 2VAC between L1 & L2 at the outlet. I showed this to the customer. The breaker is a standard breaker and didnt appear to be tripped. I flipped it off and back on and had 241VAC to the dryer. I tested the dryer and found it working as designed. I explained to the customer that if the breaker continues to trip during use then the breaker probably needs to be changed. The panel is on the southwest corner of the house and gets a lot of sun. Arrived on site for microwave not turning on. Upon arrival found no power at outlet. Found breaker in garage tripped. After restoring power I tested microwave and found it working as designed. I then disassembled unit and tested interlock assembly. Found lower interlock Intermittently. Replaced both interlocks and retested unit. Couldnt replicate trip failure and found microwave working as designed. Call complete

"I have done site for a dryer that is making a knocking sound during operation. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised the unit has been making this knocking or something sound for a while and that they have had three other companies come out to try to service this. They advise that the previous companies have replaced the rollers, the blower wheel, and the basket. Did confirm the customers complaint during operation and removed the basket and front panel. Found all rollers, belt, and motor all working and operating as designed. Did not find any abnormality around the drum or the bulkheads. Cant access to the back and check the blower wheel. Found the blower wheel was situated properly, and I could not replicate the sound by spending the basket by hand. Checked the basket for any abnormality, and could not find any issues with the basket. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Kurt SR# 7737729352. He had me run through a couple of checks and hat may send him a video. revise that he could not hear the knocking sound that was heard on the video. I was advised him that the sound is very faint. He advised that because we were unable to find any abnormalities or problems with any of the moving parts on this unit that there was no parts he could recommend to replace that would fix this issue. He advised to make no repairs at this time and advise the customer to continue using this product and that the unit was working and operating as designed. Call complete."

Arrived on site to diagnose range that was throwing an error and sometimes starting elements. Tested unit and found an F2E1 error for stuck key. Found service pointer W11636633 which says to replace control. Replaced control and tested unit. Verified all working as designed. Repair completed.

Arrived on site to replace harness and bake element. Relaxed both parts test unit and unit test good job complete.

WCG55US0HS05 arrived on site to inspect a range not lighting. Customer stated that the rear two burners would light but the front two would not. Inspected and found that the burner caps were not properly seated. Adjusted and tested and the unit fired up as designed. Informed the customer of my findings. No gas leaks detected during service.

UXT5236BDS0 arrived on site to inspect a vent hood light not working. Removed the light and found that one of the connectors on the harness side became disconnected from the molex. I reseated the connector and verified operation on the light. Reassembled the unit and tested the light several more times to verify that it is working.

"Arrived onsite for a washer that will not agitation, upon arrival I ran the unit in diag mode and found this to be true. Upon further inspection I found that the belt was loose and the cam was damaged I replaced both and tested the unit and found unit operating as designed."

Arrived onsite for a wall oven to replace the previous diagnosed parts. I replaced the door hinges and the door is working as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site to follow up on microwave that was not heating. Replaced cap mag and diode to resolve dead HV system per previous diagnosis. I retested and found unit is still not powering the mag. Tested the thermostats and found them working properly. Found a couple of the connectors on the interlocks were not making a solid tight connection. I adjusted the connectors and replaced the interlocks. Retested and found no improvement. Found transformer is getting 120v from the control relay, but not powering the mag. Ordering a new transformer to resolve. Return visit set for 11/14, or sooner service. ; ordrng 1 W11545871 (Transformer) and 1 WPW10574736 (Capacitor)"

"Arrived onsite and found unit operating with leaking from incorrect soap being used, customer using standard dish soap which was causing sudsing leaking. Advised customer on use and care."

Arrived on site to diagnose microwave not starting / heating. On arrival customer showed me that the element in the microwave had actually dropped due to a broken support. I replaced the support and we verified unit is properly working. Repair completed.

Arrived onsite for temp concerns and found unit operating properly within specifications. Advised customer on findings. All checks good.

"Arrived on site for refrigerator not cooling, sealed system parts sent. Tapped system and recovered refrigerant. Used nitrogen to 100 psi and used soap bubbles to check for leaks. WRT318FZDM09 Arrived to inspect no lights. I found the door switch had failed and will need to be ordered. No leaks observed during service.; ordrng 1 W11123941 (Switch)

Arrived onsite for a washer that vibrates and shakes and will not drain at times. I found the washer not level and I found the spanner nut not fully tightened. I leveled the washer and tightened the nut. I found an F0E9 stored error code in the control. The customer stated it is not draining about every third time its used. I found the door switch starting to fail. The door latch will need to be replaced. I ran a quick wash with towels to see if the shaking and moving has stopped. The unit shakes like normal and no longer is walking across the floor. Ordering W11513248 latch. RS for Mon 11/13.; ordrng 1 W11513248 (Latch)

Arrived on site to diagnose ice machine not producing ice. Examined unit and found small cubes being made and melting fairly soon. Examined unit producing a slab and attempt to drop it. Found slab was both forming unevenly and getting stuck on the evap. Examined evap and found the weld seams on the evap were very rigid and needed to be sanded down. Wet sanded seams and verified that water flow was now even and slab should slide easy. Repair completed.
