Arrived on site to inspect unit for leaking from back of unit opposite of the drain hose. Upon closer inspection ran unit through 4 diagnostic cycles watched the valve inspected drain all hoses could not replicate leak. Did visibility see water trapped in one of the legs but no moisture leading towards back left leg. Suspect bad seal on tub ring due to location of leak and explanation from customer. Replaced tub ring ran another cycle. No leaks present at this time. Job complete.

"Ive done say it for a refrigerator where ice is clumping. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the issue was in his freezer compartment not his refrigerator compartment. He advised that when the unit fills with water, it fills up the ice bucket into a big slab. I checked the icemaker and found that the fill cup was iced over causing water to trickle outside of the icemaker area. I steamed out the ice clump in the Phil cup and tested the unit. "Arrived onsite for dryer making a noise. On inspection I did not find the dryer making noise. Customer had a video of the noise, gain access to the motor and blower wheels. Saw no damage on the blower wheel, turning the motor by hand and there was low noise coming from the motor. Told customer that here was slight noise coming front the motor. Installed new motor. Informed the customer to call if the noise gets comes back. Ran unit for 15 minutes trying to recreate the noise with out luck. The unit is operating as designed during service."

Arrived on site for washer not draining water out. Upon arrival found f9e1 in diagnostics. Upon further testing I found drain pump still failing and not pumping any water out. Replaced drain and found due to pump not be8ng replaced on second trip it had now cause another failure in control and replaced control also. Reassembled and tested washer in diagnostic and normal wash cycle. Found washer complete all cycles as designed with no errors or leaks. Call complete

"Arrived on site to inspect washer dispenser holding water. Upon further inspection, I found a small amount of water in the square reservoir in the softener cup (photo). I advised the customer that the amount of water is normal and then I contacted Techline to confirm. I spoke with Rich and provided previous SR#7738327327 and advised of my findings. Rich advised the remaining water is okay and that all parts have been replaced. Water pressure could be playing a factor in the amount of water left in the reservoir and the customer should be able to remove the dispenser and pour the water out of the dispenser. Arrived onsite for washers with hot water issues. Upon arrival I ran the unit with the hot water setting selected and the lid switch bypass so that I could monitor the water temperature as it flowed into the unit and it started hot the entire time. I ran the unit a few more times and found the same. Unit seem to be operating as designed at this time. I advised the appointment office that it might be a plumbing issue.

Arrived on site to inspect range for arching behind unit when using multiple burners. Upon closer Inspection found unit arching with far left switch itself. "Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher leaking water. Upon further inspection/follow up, customer advised the unit leaks on the Sensor mode towards the end of the cycle and since last service call, the unit leaked on Normal mode. Basically leaking on long cycles and not the shorter cycles. I removed the outer door panel and placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and tested. After several tests, the unit never leaked. I contacted techline and spoke to Kurt and advised of the complaint and my findings and previous repair of the door gasket. After brainstorming the issue, Kurt recommended having the customer take photos of when the unit leaks; where its leaking from; the door gasket, inner door panel, etc. and provided SR#7738555818. I advised the customer of this conversation and recommendation. I reached out to in house tech support and it was recommended replacing the lower spray arm as it can get hung up during a wash cycle as debris will get caught in the gears and the arm will stall in a position to where its constantly spraying the inner door panel causing the water to overflow the reservoir or the spray arm is separating during a long wash and causing the water to rush the reservoir and overflow the reservoir. Customer advised it is a design flaw and questioned having to pay for parts and I recommended they contact the manufacturer to discuss and provided the SR number. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived onsite for washer stopping in the middle of the rinse cycle. On inspection customer had the washer loaded to show me what is happening. The unit was started on normal setting and it ran all the way through the rinse cycle. At the end of rinse the unit switched to wash cycle and stopped. I let sit for a few minutes to make sure it was not going to continue it cycle. I went to power the unit off and it did not respond. I held the pause button in for 15seconds still did not power so I held it in again for 15 seconds still no response. I pulled the power and installed a new control board in the unit. "Ive done site for a refrigerator that is not cooling properly again. Inspected unit and work area. Found evidence of a defrost issue in the freezer section and took temperatures. Found the freezer temperature at 55?F and the refrigerator temperature at 62?F. I gained access to the control and checked all thermistors. I found the defrost thermistor reading 27.2 k ohms (-5?F), the FC thermistor reading 4.53 k ohms (57?F), and the RC thermistor reading 3.92 k ohms (63?F ). I checked the heater from he control and found it reading 91.6 ohms. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Bruce SR# 7738013150. He advised that because of all those checks, everything was good on the machine side, and it would have to indicate an air leakage issue. We checked the gasket and found no air leaks coming from the gasket. He had me check the drip pan and air return from the refrigerator side. I found no evidence of any leaks coming from either of those sections. Advise. At this point he would add silicone to the edge of the cabinet and liner to see if that would resolve and make no other repairs. He advised have the customer contact Whirlpool if further issues persist. I added the silicone to the edge of the cabinet in liner and tested the unit. The unit is cooling as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived on site to inspect range oven gas leak. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the oven has a possible gas leak as they tried to use the oven and they could smell what they thought was gas and there was smoke coming from the oven. I tested the cooktop burners and they are operating as designed. I tested the oven on Bake at 350 degrees and monitored the unit. I tested the gas lines at the back of the unit and all were good. During preheat, I opened the oven door and found smoke coming from the unit which is normal burn off (new unit) and could not smell any abnormal gas odors other than the normal burn off from the burner. I advised the customer of my findings and explained the burn off odors. I contacted Whirlpool Safety and spoke to Cody and advised of my findings. Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that is leaving frost on the food in the RC. Upon arrival I did not find frost any where in the RC. Including at the Evap. I tested the damper and found that it opened and closed like normal. The defrost cycle worked and I ran the test in diagnostic mode. I replaced the control and leveled the chassis because it was not done properly and this could cause warm air to leak into the unit causing frost. I advised the customer of this. Other wise the unit is operating as designed

"KRFF507HPS03 Arrived to inspect noise. I found the damper was the likely issue, but during my service, I could not recreate the chugging noise, but attribute it to moisture and ice formation that had restricted movement, resulting in noise. I found the top of the unit was tilted forward over an inch, in relation to the bottom and the feet were not set. I corrected the setup of the unit and then found the ice maker housing was not fully placed. I removed and corrected the ice maker housing and tested. The unit did make some additional sealed system noise and placement of dampening pads and adjustment of the tubing corrected. No leaks observed during service."

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator to replace previous diagnosed parts. When I tapped the system it seamed to be a little low but there was still refrigerant in it. I could find no signs of a leak. I replaced the compressor and drier. I vacuumed the system and my gauges never moved after the pump was turned off. I charged it with 47 grams of R600A. I tested the unit and had good refrigerant flow and pressures. The unit is working as designed. I explained to the customer to give it 24 hours before loading it and asked them to only load it up with 2-3 days of groceries for a couple of weeks and monitor the temps then if the temps are still good they can load like normal. The ice wasnt all the way to the top so the customer thought it wasnt making enough. I explained how the new twist tray icemaker arm works to the customer and showed him how it was working as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived onsite for a washer that will not start the wash cycle sometimes., The customer advised me when I arrived. I put the unit in diagnostic and found no stored code. I then ran the diagnostic cycle and found the unit operating as designed. I checked the gearcase and found the gearcase good no leaks and the rotor spun with no resistance when spun by hand. I also leveled the unit out as it was too low to the floor I did this to hive the suspension space to actuate if the customer is washing a large load. I then ran the unit in quick wash and found that the unit operated was designed. Due to the intermittent nature of the issue I replaced the control and the clutch and tested the unit and found unit operating as designed"

"On arrival verified complaint of unit not cooling RC. RC is warm. Dampers work in test mode. Ran fan test and no function. Went to main and verified 12.7vdc to fan motor. When attempting to reach fan motor in disassembly the fan turned on. Unit was in FC fan test the whole time, recommend replacing fan. If problem persists it is an internal harness failure. Spoke to Andrew 7738554992 and he agrees. If problem persists call back to TL as no further repairs are recommended Ed at this time."

Arrived onsite for previously diagnosed parts. I installed new right front burner head and that fixed the flame issue. I lifted unit up with 2x4 so I could get to the bolts on the side of the unit. Got everything apart and installed the new igniter on the front left burner. Reassembled everything and tested the left burner and it is igniting as designed. No gas leaks detected during service.

"Arrived on site to inspect range oven gas leak and cooktop burners flames turning orange. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that they have a humidifier in another room. I tested the cooktop burners and found they all have orange flames. I provided a video of what a humidifier does to gas cooktop flames and explained to them what was happening and how to correct it. Using my gas sniffer, I checked the oven and the warming drawer and found no signs of a gas leak. Using my floor protector, I pulled the unit out onto the protector and using the sniffer, I checked the gas line at the regulator and at the wall and found the gas line to the wall gas line was leaking gas. Using my liquid leak detector, I confirmed the leak (photos). I turned the supply off and disconnected the gas line from the line coming out of the wall and found there was no sealer. I placed some sealer on the connectors at the wall and at the regulator and reattached the gas line and tested. Lines are sealed and no longer leaking (photos). Retested the unit and it is operating as designed. No gas leaks detected at the end of service, job completed."

"Arrived onsite for a refrigerator thats not cooling. I found the RC and FC sections both just a little cool. The FC was at 35 degrees. I checked the frost pattern on the RC and it was only frosted about 4-6 inches from the capillary tube. I removed the back panel and the compressor was running. I could hear a slight hissing sound. I started checking joints and found a leak between the drier and yoder loop. I replanted the joint, vacuumed the system, and recharged it. I explained to the customer to give it a week and watch the ice production and if it stops to call us. I explained to not load it up with a bunch of product, just enough for a couple of days until the week is up and there are no ice production issues. Call complete."

I replaced the basket and found the cabinet wrapper was damaged from the basket issue and the foot securing pads were damaged from the basket shaking, beyond repair. Arrived onsite for a range with one of the burners not working. I found the outer part of the dual element not working. I had no voltage out of the infinite switch. The switch was already ordered in the call and marked as run with out. Im marking the switch and the dual element as UORV. Office to RS when the switch is available. "Arrived on site for unit, vibrating or shaking during the spin cycle. Upon arrival inspected unit. Customer stated unit goes off balance and shakes a lot. Ran diagnostics and passed. Checked settings and found customer is using extra power settings. Instructed customer on extra power usage and settings. Clothing would clump to one side and load would go off balance. Ran a load of blankets with correct settings and with customer present, load completed with no errors. The only other noise to make note of was the drain hose tapping on the wall during the drain cycle. Unit is functioning as designed. Job complete"

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator freezing up the coil. I found a large frost build up on the evaporator tubing but air was still able to flow. The tenant stated the maintenance team had defrosted the coil about a week ago. I forced a defrost and found the heater not energizing. I found no voltage at all at the heater. I found the brown wire pin connector not locked into the molex. I fixed the connector and retested. I found neutral not getting to the heater. I found the thermal fuse on the neutral wire open. I tested the resistance on the heater and it was good. The harness needs to be replaced but it comes with the heater as an assembly. I installed the new style heater assembly and tested. All is working as designed. Call complete.

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator to replace previous diagnosed parts. I checked the FC temp on arrival and found it at 4 degrees. I could see frost on the bottom of the coil. I found the bin about half full of ice and the ice in the icemaker mold frozen solid. The customer stated it is a very erratic problem. He stated it will make ice just fine for a while then stop for a day and make none. I tried to put the icemaker in a harvest and it would not respond. I tried three more times and it never would enter the harvest. I switched the icemaker off and back on then tested again and it went thru a harvest. I replaced the icemaker. I tested the new icemaker and it went thru the harvest cycle and filled properly. Call complete.

"Arrived on site to inspect microwave not heating. Upon further inspection, I found the unit door sagging and not closing properly on the switches. I found the upper hinge area of the door is damaged causing it to sag. Using my microwave tester, I closed the door and tested and the unit turned on and made a loud rattling sound (electrical sound coming from the switches) and then shut down. I advised the customer that until the door and switches issues are resolved, I wont be able to fully test the unit. I am ordering the door, both interlock assemblies and will return with all prescreened parts. Office to schedule return service. Sr#7738514632 called and spoke with Nathan at techline about softener not dispensing consistently. Advised that the unit is dealing with sudsing errors and not entering the softener rinse. Advised remediation for oversudsing problems. All else checks good. No error codes and valves operating as designed.

"WRF767SDEM01 Arrived to inspect door issue and water flow problems. I found the door issue was due to the leveling legs not being set and the top of the machine was tilted forward form the the bottom, by nearly two inches. I corrected the lean via leveling leg adjustment, at the end of the service. The water flow issue appeared to be due to the filter head and I replaced it. There was slight improvement, but the water was still too slow. I isolated the issue to the main valve and have added it to the order. The ice bin door will require adjustment upon return. The drain tube assembly was completely plugged and I cleared and resealed it to the chassis. No leaks observed during service. Tech GCO.; ordrng 1 W10865826 (Primary Valve) and 1 W10842950 (Filter/chiller Housing) and 1 GCO (GCO) and 1 2Hours (2 Hour Service)"

Arrived on site for showing error code. Upon arrival customer states found about a cup of water at front left corner of unit. Ran diagnostics and get error codeF8-E4 open float switch. Found unit leaning towards the front. Noticed the feet were never leveled during install. Leveled unit to be able to test for leaks. Inspected valve and not weeping. Inspected door seal and is correct. Ran a normal cycle and unit is operating correctly without leaks. Job complete

Arrived on site to test unit for front door stainless coming off the glass. Found bad front glass and trim. Ordering trim office to reschedule ; ordrng 1 W11096161 (Trim door)
