"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not working. Upon further inspection, I attempted to place the unit in diagnostics and the panel failed to respond. I removed the toeplate and found the unit power cord connected properly. When I went to test the outlet under the sink, I found a switch box under the sink with two (2) switches and both were off. Knowing the front switch was for the disposal, I turned the back switch on and the unit powered up (photos). I advised the customer of my findings and placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes. Tested the unit and it is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to test unit for RC freezing. Found RC temp was 9 degrees on arrival. Service tests(01,03,05)showed RC temp was 9 degrees and evap was -9. Attempted to run a forced defrost with no success. Found no signs of harness damage and not reading open from evap to rear control compartment. Tested resistance on molex connections P8 and P5. Replaced control and UI using kit. Cycled power to unit and when powered on unit put itself into a defrost cycle naturally. Changed defrost type to basic mode in diagnostic step 126. "Arrived on site to diagnose report of gas leak coming from cooktop. I tested the unit for leaks with bubble solution. Customer said they had spilled some fluid in the cooktop and noticed the leak right after. Gas company came out with a sniffer and said the unit was leaking from the center burner and disabled the gas. I turned on the gas and hit all burners, joints, and orifices and found no leaks. Customer also had a gas sniffing pen that was going off every time it was near an orifice, even with the gas turned off. We saw no bubbles anywhere in the unit and the gas smell. Could not duplicate any gas smell and took video of joints. Call completed."

"Arrived on site to diagnose microwave that was making louder buzzing sound. On arrival customer said the unit was louder than it was before when running, but unit IS cooking food properly. I tested the unit and heard some noise from the mag area. On closer inspection I noticed a slight bow in the wrapper on the right side, which was vibrating against the cabinet causing it to resonate. I advised that when you push the wrapper off the cabinet or insulate it, noise is gone and unit operates properly. Advised to put a shim between the MW and cabinet to resolve noise. Repair completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer taking too many cycles to dry. Upon further inspection, I found the dryer vent tube at the back of the unit wide open. I opened the door and closed the door switch and tested the unit and found the element not coming on. I pulled the unit out and test3d the components at the back of the unit and found the hi-limit thermostat open. Found the element and cutoff and fuse good. Removed and replaced the hi-limit thermostat and retested and found the unit I heating properly. Using my vent test kit, I tested the airflow to the unit and found the first 2 tests failed even after shortening the vent tube at the back of the unit allowing the unit to vent straight into the vent at the wall (photo). I checked the vent upside and found it clogged with lint (photo). I recommended the customer have their cleaned professionally. At this time, unit is operating as designed. No lint observed within the unit during service, job completed."

Arrived on site to test unit for door not closing. Test unit and found plate obstructing manifold making top rack not go back in all the way preventing the door from closing. Removed plate push top rack all the way in and door closing correctly job complete.

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer noises. Upon further inspection, the customer had the unit operating in a cycle and immediately I heard a loud popping noise. I continued to monitor the unit and it intermittently made the noise which sounded like it was coming from inside the unit. I removed the rear panel and removed the lint chute and found no abnormalities. Re-installed the chute and raised the top panel and turned the unit on. I could hear the popping noise coming from the back left corner area. I removed the front panel and turned the drum by name and found the tension pulley moving side to side and the pulley arm hooks that attach to the bottom panel, were making the popping noise. I believe that the old drum being warped caused the rollers to wear and the belt to move back and forth on the tension pulley and causing the pulley arm to move back and forth causing the popping noise. I did find rubber, from the rollers, on the bottom panel below them. I advised the customer of my findings and removed and replaced the dryer repair kit (2-rollers, tension pulley, belt) and reassembled the unit. Retested and allowed the unit to operate for approximately 10 mins according to the timer (70 mins to 60 mins) and the unit operated as designed and was operating much quieter. I found rubbing marks on the tension pulley arm as well (photos). Recommended the customer monitor the unit and report any further issues. No lint observed during service, job completed."

On arrival verified complaint of noise during spin. Customer showed video of noise. Replicated noise by smacking unit with water line. Adjusted water line and drain hose and ran test cycle with wet towels. Unit spins correctly with no excess vibration. Noise was hoses hitting cabinet when in use. Job complete no leaks detected during service.

"Arrived on site to inspect moisture build up in refrigerator. Upon further , I found condensation built up on the FC door gasket at the top and moisture built up on the handle of the upper FC drawer (photos). I tested temps in the FC=8 degrees and RC=41 degrees on manufacturing recommended settings and unit was in defrost mode. I find the horizontal mullion cold to the touch. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested the mullion heater in tests 40 & 41 and when I toggled the heater on/off, I could feel the mullion getting warm. I contacted in house tech support (SW) and advised of my findings and she provided a video from Service Matters, Moisture on FC Door Gasket which recommended ordering insulation and placing it under the the top portion of the FC door gasket and raising the door approximately 1/8 inch. While I was testing the FC door closure, I found it not closing properly on the left side and leaving a 1/4 inch gap. Due to the previous issue of the door not closing and finding ice/frost built up in the FC section, I am ordering the slides and the insulation from the video. Returning tech to contact in-house tech support (SW) for instructions and will replace the slides (2) and install the insulation and raise the FC door 1/8 inch. No water leaks observed during service.; ordrng 2 W11658402 (FC slide)s and 4 W11159728 (Gasket)s"

"Arrived on site to inspect washer noises. Upon further inspection, the customer spun the basket and identified the noise which sounded like a grinding noise from where I was standing. When I tested the basket by turning it by hand, I found the noise maker was a dime, nickel and penny that were in between the basket and washplate. I removed the coins and turned the basket and again and the noise was gone. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and tested the unit. Unit is operating as designed. I made recommendations for use and care, as well as, detergent and softener use. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that is freezing product on the upper shelf and in the back. When the unit is set on max ice the water will stop dispensing and it will not make ice. The RC was set at 38 degrees and the FC was at 0 degrees. I tested the RC temp when I arrived and the upper shelf was at 40 degrees and the lower shelf was at 37 degrees. The sealed system turned on when I was checking the temps and the lower shelf dropped to 36 degrees and the upper was at 37 degrees. The customers product was pushed back against the rear liner and I explained to leave it an inch away from the liner to help with proper air flow. I found a cold air leak at the icemaker where the water line comes out causing cold air to enter around the reservoir. I found the rubber grommet for the facia heater had popped out of the icebox causing the cold air. I corrected the grommet and remounted the icebox. I ran service test 36 agin and everything was normal. I set the unit to max ice and monitored the refrigerator. The unit is working as designed and the reservoir is not freezing. I called techline and spoke with Andrew SR# 7738699888. I gave him my findings and what I did to correct the issue. Andrew agreed with whats been done and thinks these corrections should solve the issues. Call complete.

"Arrived on site to inspect range control panel not working. Upon further inspection, I found the unit display blank. Tested voltage at the outlet and found the outlet had no voltage. Checked the breaker (GFCI) and found it tripped. Cycled power and tested the unit on Bake at 350 degrees and once the unit reached 105 degrees, the breaker tripped. I cycled power and removed and replaced the main control and retested on Bake at 350 degrees and the unit operated as designed. I recommend the customer have the breaker checked for safety reasons. The customer advised the unit does fill, dispense soap, and drain bit that the soap never actually dissolves. I want to replace the user interface and found that the model number provided was incorrect with the actual model number of the unit. I updated the model information and Im ordering the main control and user interface. "Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not completing cycles. Inspected unit and work area. I found the unit was sitting on an uneven surface, and the legs were not adjusted to account for the flooring. I ran the unit three diagnostics and found an F2 E1 (UI stuck key) and F7 E6 (open motor circuit) error codes. I checked underneath the washer and found debris that was causing the drive pull in to grind against the shield cover. I removed the obstructions and found all components working in operating as designed. I tested the unit several times in manual diagnostics, and in an auto test and found the unit working as designed. I went ahead and readjusted the feet on the washer as the unit was wobbling from side to side during the spin cycle. After readjusting the feet, I found the unit working and operating as designed. Arrived onsite for door not closing correctly. On inspection the top door on the right side will lift a little when closing and the gap between the ui and the top door is larger on the right side. Installed a new hinge on the right side and it made it worse than it was. I called and talked with Eric at WP and he had the same suggestion that are senior techs had was to adjust the ui. Adjusted the ui and it help with the gap but not with door lifting as it is shutting. The unit is in the cabinet tight and take quite a bit of force to pull it out. Told customer that the frame could be out of square causing this issue. Customer is going to get with builder to see what can be done. Sr7738706192

Arrived onsite for dryer not drying correctly. On inspection I tested for air flow was fine. I tested the temperature and it was ranging from 120? to 192?.the unit is operating as designed. I then turn towards the washer and put it in diagnostics cycle and in spin mode was a loud squeaky noise. I informed the customer that the issue was with the washer not extracting enough water out of the clothes for the dryer to be able to dry the clothes in a timely manner.

"Arrived onsite for washer not completing a cycle. The customer said that it would stop be the spin cycle and they would have to turn off and then back on to make it complete the cycle. Found error F8E1 long fill, I found the cold turn down almost all the way. Flipped the unit up and found no issue underneath the unit. The unit completely a diagnostic cycle with no issue. Installing a new control board due to the fact the customer has to reboot the unit for it to complete the cycle. No water leaks detected during service."

As well as significant build up in drain hose for unit being as new as it is in a newer residence. Also found a metal piece stuck in drain. Picture of metal piece included. Unable to get picture of chicken bone due to it becoming stuck in my shop vac, attempted to take apart to get picture of bone however was unsuccessful. Around the unit through a quick wash on top, cold and found the unit fill, agitate, drain, and spin through the first wash cycle, and begin to start the rinse cycle. I did explain to the customer that the only other thing that caused the unit not to finish out, cycles would be an off-balance load, which it may or may not detect. I checked the suspension and found the suspension was good. Found all components working an operating as designed. Did advise the customer that I do. Everything was working with the washer and that it may be an issue with their loading intermittently. Call complete."

"Arrived on site for a range that will not turn on. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the burners all work, but that the oven will not and the control will not illuminate. I checked the terminal block and found no issues with the wiring at the terminal block. Checked voltage to the unit and found proper voltage and polarity. I checked voltage up to the control and found proper voltage but the control nut starting. I replaced the control and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete."

Arrived on site to diagnose refrigerator leaking when dispensing water. Examined water tubing and found the reservoir line that runs on the rear frame was pushed into the condenser fan and cut. Line is 5/16. Reservoir is out if stock. Advised we can removed the damaged section and use a 5/16 union fitting to connect the house. Ordering a 5/16 to 5/16 fitting to resolve. 12204arrived on site for washer with broken valve. Upon arrival conf8rmed issue and found cold side broken. On arrival I also found a large amount of water all around washer and floor in front of laundry cubby because washer had been sitting in hallway in front of laundry cubby with fill lines just hanging down from wall connections and drain hose of washer just laying on the floor. Took photos of water damage to floor and surrounding area. I then Replaced valve and tested unit. Found no leaks from washer and unit working as designed. Call complete

Arrived on site for dishwasher making noise. Found error F9E4. Ran diagnostics and found tapping noise when lower spray tries to turn. Lower spray arm was not proper attached. Attempted to secure it but it would not. Replaced lower spray arm again. New arm locked proper in place. Call complete.

"Arrived on site to diagnose dryer that panel sometimes shuts off, and doesn't always fully dry clothes. Tested unit and found Ecoboost was enables, which drastically cuts heat to unit. I found an error code for F2E1, stuck key only. No other errors. I replaced the console and assisted the customer in connecting the dryer to the whirlpool app. When running with eco boost off, unit dries properly. Repair completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect wall oven microwave combo unit error code. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics and found error code F1E5-inverter failure. I pulled the unit out and gained access to the magnetron and inverter board and found the magnetron was bad. I removed and replaced the inverter board and magnetron and tested the unit. Unit is operating as designed. Reassembled the unit and put it back in its space and retested and it continues to operate as designed. Job completed."

Arrived on site for washer not showing full led display. Upon arrival found some led functionality but number display wouldnt light up. Removed dryer from top of machine then replaced ui panel. Tested unit and found no leaks and washer display working as designed.

Arrived onsite and found complaint of unit has an excessive tendency to spin out of balance. Was advised that usually this occurs when washing duvet covers and towels for short term rental. Which happens several times a week. Unit is on pier and beem flooring which is slanted toward the front of the home. Unit is properly leveled to the floor. Tested with duvet and was able to spin within parameters. Advised that a manual adjustment to load balance will often have to made with bedding and towels and this is normal.

Arrived on site to diagnose cooktop not lighting the right rear burner. Tested and found the search for the right rear burner was not making contact. Diassembled unit and replaced switch harness. Retested and verified all working as designed. Repair completed.

"WDF331PAHS1 Arrived to inspect no drying. I entered service test mode and found 7-1 as the only stored error code and I cleared for testing. I found voltage present on the heater circuit and then removed the heater for testing. Showing variable resistance in the 400Kohm range, I replaced the element and tested. The unit resumed full normal operation and heated as designed. No leaks observed during service."
