Arrived on site for a washing machine. That is making a grinding noise. Inspected unit and work area. The customer showed me a video of what was happening and it sounded like a grinding noise coming from underneath the washer. Found the cam completely worn. Replaced the cam and actuator and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete.; used 1 W11481722 (Actuator) from stock

Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed part. Inspected unit and work area. I checked the drive block for any signs of wear and found it in place and in good condition. Went ahead and replaced the agitator and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not spinning the drum. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit does not seem to wash her clothes and will spin out, but does not actually wash. Ran it through diagnostics and found no stored error codes. Ran the unit through an auto test with the lit up and found during agitation, the agitator moving slightly, but not Agitating the way it should. Put my hand on the agitator while it was agitating and found that I could hold it in place with the motor turning. Removed the agitator and found the agitator completely stripped on the inside. Did ask the customer about the low types that she washes, including heavy duty items. She did advise that she does wash rugs, blankets, and other bulky items in this washer. Did explain to the customer that those kinds of items can cause this issue; ordrng 1 WP3951744 (Agitator)"

Arrived on site for a dryer that is making sounds during operation. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised they were hearing a ticking sound as the unit was running. I tested the unit and heard something blow out of the blower wheel housing area through the exhaust. Found the unit then operating as designed with no abnormal sounds presents. Checked the vent at the back wall and found several dead crickets inside the vent area. The customer advised they were just had an invasion of crickets through their vents and everything else about a week ago which is approximately when they started. Did advise it sounded like the issue was probably with crickets getting into the blower wheel and causing the sounds. The unit is not working as designed. Call complete.
