REFRIGERATOR KITCHENAID KRSC503ESS00 "arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered part. Upon arrival, I found that the unit had not been defrosted as there was a large block of ice on the RC Evap cover. Using my steamer, i removed the ice and Evap cover and found even more solid ice on the evaporator. I used my wet vac to vacuum the water from defrosting the ice. Once I had the ice removed, I found that the thermistor was incorrectly placed. I repositioned it and secured it with a zip tie and foil tape. Installed the new cap cover styrofoam ad tested the unit. All components are functioning as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."
WASHER MAYTAG MVWX655DW1 Arrived on site and tested operation. I found no response from control. Verified proper voltage and found to be good. Verified drain pump and motor for proper resistance and found to be good with no short. I also ohmed the valves and temp sensor and found that the valves have shorted causing the failure. Unit has a failed control and valve assembly. I was able to get the control covered by manufacturer. I installed the new control and tested. I found that the shorted components were caused by a faulty outlet that has shorted or has a bad connection inside as the outlet was losing power under a load. Plugged into a separate outlet and the unit is operating. Ran calibration for new components and unit is working properly. Instructed customer of electrical issue and recommended having an electrician repair the outlet.
REFRIGERATOR KITCHENAID KRSC503ESS00 "arrived on site to refrigerator noise. Upon further inspection, I could hear one of the Evap fans making a loud noise once I walked in to the home. I found that it was the RC section Evap fan and when I opened the door, I found a large mass of ice buildup at the bottom of the Evap cover. I attempted to remove the ice with my steamer, but after filling the steamer with water two times, there was still a large amount of ice to be removed. When I attempted to remove the Evap cover foam, it would not budge. Due to this being a model home, I went to the main office to advise the customer of the situation. I had the customer sign the Waiver of Water Damages due to Defrosting and advised that they would need to put towels around the unit to prevent any water damage to baseboards and that I would be ordering parts and the office would reschedule return service. I am ordering the RC Evap cover foam with fan and the main control. I will return with the presc

arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker not producing enough ice. Upon further inspection, using a cup I tested the water dispenser and water dispensed. I verified that there was ice in the bin. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested the following modes...1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 15, 19, 36, 37, 45, 56, 57, 58, and 59 and the ice maker tested good. The customer advised that the ice maker had just ripped a batch of ice just before my arrival. I advised the customer test the unit is testing good and there is nothing wrong with the unit. I leveled the unit before leaving. No water leaks observed during service, job completed.
arrived on site to inspect refrigerator not cooling. Upon inspection, I found that the evaporator cover had ice buildup on it. I was able to get the Evap cover off to inspect the Evap coil and found a large amount of ice buildup on the coil. I advised the customer that they would need to defrost the unit before I could go any further with service. I had the customer sign a waiver and advised the customer to put several towels down around the unit due to water spillage. Also advised the customer to use a wet/vac to vacuum up as much water as they could to protect their floors. Office to order Evap cover and return service is scheduled for 04/26/18 CS. I will return with RC Thermistor. No water leaks observed during service.
