Once again, the technician was knowledgeable, used all his resources including the special technical service line and was friendly and professional. I wish Maytag wouldn’t have made it necessary for him to continue coming out to replace our icemaker. Including the original one, we are on number 4, ridiculous and not the technicians fault.

Jonathan was quick to,diagnose and replace the defective parts. He was very knowledgeable and professional. That said, dirty handprints were left on the outside of the icemaker and the door that should have been cleaned up.

My LG Refrigerator was seemingly stuck in defrost mode. The first tech sent out (Jon M) diagnosed sealed system failure and ordered parts. After parts arrived, 2nd tech (Arthur Book) said first tech was new and misdiagnosed. Ordered different parts. After parts arrived a second time Arthur returned and installed the parts, and now my ice maker no longer works. I called to have them return a 4th time and was told "We no longer take LG warranty work" and they refuse to return to repair what they broke. I have been without a working fridge for almost a month and am now working with another company to obtain repairs. I realize that this company has very high reviews, but this is a well earned 1 star review. They broke my fridge and refuse to return to repair it.

REFRIGERATOR JENN-AIR JBZFL24IGX00 Arrived on site for refrigerator thats not making ice again. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advised that the unit is making ice again. He is unsure as to why its starting and stopping. He also advised that hes having issues with ice clumping in his van. Tested the unit in the icemaker harvest cycle in the unit harvested ice. I called Techline and spoke to Scott SR# 7730111960. He advised me to test the Waterfill function of the icemaker. Tested icemaker fill and found water squirting out all over the place. Removed icemaker and found a clump of ice over the top of the hill to. Removed ice and tested the unit again and I feel cycle. Unit now is working as designed. Call complete.
MICROWAVE GE JE2160BF001 Arrived on site for microwave needing previously diagnosed main control. Upon arrival I installed the main control and but found unit still functioning as original complaint. I removed the control and replaced old one. I then inspected all the hardware behind control and around hv components and found old main control was still sending voltages to primary & secondary micro switch but beyond that the was no power passing to the high voltage components. I was able to repair the shorted micro switchs and unit is functioning as designed. Bringing back new control for return. Unit now heating as designed call complete.
DISHWASHER GE GDF520PGJ6BB "Arrived on site for dishwasher not turning on. Upon arrival I found unit had 120v running through the main control and terminal block area fine. I was not able to get power to ui nor get ui to respond. I then inspected main control and found diagnostics led on main control rapidly firing on and off which indicates a software failure in the main control per the schematic tech sheet. I then replaced main control and attempted power reset. At this point I verified that the main control is still having the same issue. I called ge techline Sr# 05250585 and they advised to replace the main control, ui control as well as door latch, they made it clear they are not actually sure themselves which of the 3 is the main issue but they have been seeing this problem more recently and have found replacing these recommended parts to help. MICROWAVE GE JE2160BF001 On site for microwave not turning on or heating up although the lights would indicate they were on. Upon further inspection after arrival customer stated that yes the UI indication would show that the microwave was trying to heat. Upon disassembly I found that the capacitor and diode were no longer working in conjunction with one another. Replacing the magnetron and diode and after reassembly I found that the micro switchs had shorted out in the process office will need to reschedule after getting American home shield authorization and due to parts being out of stock to come back and replace the micro switches within the microwave; ordrng 2 WB24X10103 (range micro switch)s and 2 WB24X823 (microwave door switc)s
REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL WRX735SDHV01 Arrived on site for a refrigerator thats not making any ice. Inspected unit and work area. Removed ice bucket and found the icemaker stuck in the middle of a harvest and not continuing forward. Tested voltage going to the motor in van 120 V. I took a jump icemaker just to be sure and found the unit trying to move but not actually moving. Removed icemaker assembly and found motor arm fins stuck in ice. Replaced icemaker and unit began to harvest and fill as designed. Advise customer to give the unit several hours before ice dispenses. Call complete.
WASHER MAYTAG MVWX655DW1 "Arrived on site for a washing machine thats making a knocking sound. Inspected unit and work area. Customer ran through a normal wash cycle and the unit agitated as designed when the unit was switching from a wash into the rents and was doing the spin prior to filling for the rinse, the unit made three knocking sounds as it was slowing down. Test of the unit several other times and had a similar result. I called Techline and spoke to Leon SR# 7729756725. He advised the issue was probably with the splutch assembly or the belt. Replaced the splotch assembly and tested unit. Unit began spinning and slowing down without a knocking noise. Unit is now working as designed. Call complete."

Removed front panel and wire wheel housing and found blower wheel cracked. Attempted to remove blower wheel and found blower wheel seals done to the motor.Replaced blower wheel and drive motor and tested unit. Unit is now working as designed. C
DISHWASHER WHIRLPOOL KDTM804KBS0 "Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed parts. Inspected unit and work area. Replaced pump and motor and attempted to place unit back in the wall. The unit power cord, water line, and drain hose had to be removed under the sink and pulled through the wall in order to get to the pump and motor. I was unable to get the hoses and power cord back through due to it being on an L island and having a false wall between both holes in the cabinetrys.

MICROWAVE JENN-AIR JMC2430DP01 Arrived on site for a microwave thats intermittently turning itself on by itself and is making noises. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advised that there is a error message that comes on when keypads are touched. Customer showed me the issue and the unit is flashing an F2 E1 (stuck or shorted key). DISHWASHER WHIRLPOOL KDTM804KBS0 "Arrived on site for a dishwasher thats making a weird sound and its not washing dishes properly. Inspected unit and work area. Attempted to place unit and service diagnostics and found unit not going into diagnostics. Attempted to place unit in a drain and unit drained out properly. Tried to enter a service diagnostic several times and was unable to. Ran unit through a normal wash cycle and found spray arms not spring. Tested resistance through the diverter and found the diverter out of range showing 2.91 k Ohms. Spoke to DW and was advised to order the pump and motor and control in case if one killed the other. Ordering parts in office will need to reschedule with customer due to out of stock, PSP, and ex-parts. In the meantime the customer is extremely unhappy and is going to attempt to have the unit replaced by his builder. I advised him to give us a call if the unit is replaced.; ordrng 1 W11410061 (CONTROL) and 1 W11416362 (PUMP AND MOTOR)"
REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL WRF535SWHZ04 "Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is intermittently not cooling and will not change the settings. Customer advised that the unit will show the double line on the jazz board indicating that the unit is not cooling. He advised that if you unplug it and replug it back in sometimes it will work but that if its left that it will take anywhere from a few hours to over two days to come back on by itself. I called Techline and spoke to JK SR# 7729518292. He advised that based on the customers complaint, the only issue it could be is with the jazz board itself since its not responding to the customer input and is causing intermittent power failures. Replaced control and tested unit. Unit is now working as designed. Call complete."

REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL WRX986SIHZ00 Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed parts. Inspected unit and work area. Customer still had frozen evaporator. Steamed off excess frost and replace the evaporator fan assembly. Went to insert shims for the drip pan and found the shims were not seating properly on the drip pan. Used some permagum to seal up the drip pan. Did not see any evidence of an air leak inside the evaporator section. Reassembled unit and unit is working as designed. Call complete.
MICROWAVE FRIGIDAIRE FFMV1645TS Arrived on site for a microwave that was tripping the breaker every time you press start. Inspected unit and work area. Confirmed customers complained and tested switches. Found monitor switch stuck in a closed position. Replaced monitor switch and tested unit. Unit is working as designed. Call complete.
MICROWAVE GE JNM3151RF1SS "Arrived on site for a microwave that is not heating very well. Customer advised that they are having issues with the unit even turning on now. Inspected unit and work area. Tested voltage at the filter board and found proper voltage. Found no voltage at the control. Checked wiring connections and found the bottom TCL burnt. Replaced bottom TCL and plugging it in unit still did not have power. Tested voltage at the bottom TCL and found no voltage going to the TCO. Replaced magnetron TCL and tested unit. Unit still did not work as designed. Spoke to SW and we went through several checks. We found the secondary switch showing open whether the door was closed or not. Was advised to replace the secondary switch. Replaced secondary switch and tested unit unit still would not turn on. I called GE tech line and spoke to Scott(no SR #). He advised that based on that issue to test continuity from the neutral side of the filter board to the neutral on the control board
REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL WRX986SIHZ00 Arrived on site for refrigerator not allowing crisper drawer to shut all the way. Upon arrival I found that the cause of the issue was due to a defrost related issue with the evaporator coil in the refrigerator section I informed the customer that we will need the fridge unplugged for at least 24 hours Office will need to reschedule due to parts needed for job currently being out of stock. And upon completion of repair the technician will need to add some silicone to the drain line area behind the fridge to ensure that hot air is not getting out of the drain; ordrng 1 UNKNOWN (SILICONE ) and 1 W11087438 (motor-evap) and 1 W11387386 (CONTROL ELECT)

REFRIGERATOR GE GSH25JFXLBB "Arrived on site for a refrigerator that wont dispense water. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advised that she had had a prior company come out before to address this issue. They shot hot water up through the dispenser area and through the water line at the bottom of the refrigerator twice and it worked for two days. They also installed a heater inside the dispenser area to try to keep the water line from freezing. The customer advised that after they installed that, they again shot hot water through the water line to clear it up and it froze right back up in a day and a half. I called GE Techline and spoke to Tyler SR# 04663889. He advised that the heater that was installed is something that they generally try to do prior to a door replacement. He advised that if the door insulation has gotten bad enough that it will continually freeze that waterline and that the heater at the dispenser area uses the DC voltage from the dispenser to continue to heat

Unit could not connect to the Wi-Fi and there was no options to change the Wi-Fi router to connect to. I attempted to contact Wi-Fi care team and they were closed. Tried to contact CSNDW and was unsuccessful. Advise customer to contact the Wi-Fi trade team during normal business hours for help connecting her washer. Call complete.

Customer advised that that was happening before the consul went out. Detached pressure hose and blew through it found no obstructions or restrictions. Unit still stayed in the drain even without the pressure hose on the control. Advise customer he would also need his main control or full repair. Customer agreed and replaced control. REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL WRF555SDHV02 Arrived on site for refrigerator thats freezing food in the refrigerator section and has no ice production. Inspected unit and work area. Took temperatures in unit and found unit sitting at 37°F. Customer advised that his food was freezing in several sections of his refrigerator. Found dude pushed up all the way against the back and overstocked. Advise customer of airflow issue and that that would cause items to freeze in certain areas and have a hard time cooling the entire unit. Tested icemaker using a jumper and unit completed a harvest cycle and filled. Checked thermistors and icebox fan in service diagnostics and both were working as designed
