My refrigerator went out during shelter-in-place. It wasn’t holding at a safe temperature. Appliance Express sent out a team of 2 to my house. They were decked out in masks, gloves, and shoe covers. They gave a quote, and happened to have parts in their truck. So, they performed a service on the spot. The next morning, the temperature in the refrigerator was even higher than it was before the repair. Appliance Express contacted the repairman, and he said he would have to order a new evaporator. My husband insisted their best tech to be sent to our house to do a full diagnostic check on the refrigerator, before we bought any more parts. The second visit revealed that an evaporator fan, not an evaporator was needed. Appliance Express said they would comp the diagnostic and the fan. They were very respectful of my time. The office called to let me know they were running a little behind schedule, and that they would be at my house about 4pm, or shortly after, and would call first. I didn’t receive the call, but they showed up right at 4pm. The window was 1pm-4pm. The repair took less than 20 minutes, and they were gone by 4:30pm. The refrigerator was blowing cold, and was down to 44 degrees by 5:30pm. When the first repair wasn’t right, they made it right. They were professional throughout the entire process. While we were terribly frustrated to be without a refrigerator for more than 2 weeks, we are incredibly grateful Appliance Express was out there on the front lines working when so many others weren’t. I’m very pleased with the outcome, and I highly recommend them. I hope I don’t have any more issues with my refrigerator, but I now have someone reliable I can call on speed dial. 💯

I replaced the gasket and molded it to seal correctly. I explained to ms that this was the reason the unit wasn’t cooling correctly because of excessive frost build up.
