Though all of your technicians have been nice he was by far the most helpful. He set straight to work to diagnose all of the issues. He demonstrated a great understanding of how to deferentially diagnose the issues and come up with a plan so as to continue assessment/fix the issues. I must add, these same issues I have been dealing with for years. Model GD5NVAXSY01, Arrived on call for unit not cooling, found drain is iced over and ive buildup at back evap cover just at the return airand drain is iced over, found were inside liner meets outer cabinet on freezer has been sealed but were inside liner meets outer cabinet on fresh food section was not sealed and has large gaps creating air leak, will need to clear drain tube and seal were inside liner meets outer cabinet on fresh food section , fresh food is at 70 degrees and product in freezer is 13 degrees, defrost heater is pulling 5.1 amps which is good and evap fan is running and after clearing ice from supply and return air is know getting air to fresh food section, customer to allow for 24-48 hours for proper cooling in both sections,, svc/ labor 189.99 plus tax 15.67 which = 205.66, customer agreed to est., no parts needed, collected full balance of 205.66, no water leaks at time of repair, call complete. MEDB765FC0 Arrived to inspect no heat. The unit would run, but no heat was developed. I found the L2 supply at 40 VAC. During further inspection, I could see the lead within lead within the outlet was not correctly fastened. I advised the customer of my findings and they will contact a qualified electrician to address the issue. New unit, no lint within the chassis.
Model KEWD105HSS06, Arrived on call for warming drawer not warming anymore, replaced power switch and tightened wire connections to switch and tested and all checks good, call complete, full est. was collected prior by previous tech.
WDF520PADM5 Arrived to inspect no power. I found the unit would not react to inputs and no lights were present. I verified voltage to the control. I removed and replaced the control and tested the unit in service test mode. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service.
Arrived on site for unit has a scratch mark on the console. Found next to the start button the unit is discolored. Replaced the console and tested the unit. Unit heats and works properly. Advise customer to clean air vents every six months.
WED49STBW0 Arrived to inspect long dry times. I found the airflow restricted, but the venting in the unit and out the wall clear. I found the air plenum for the vent screen plugged. I removed the blockage and tested the unit and it heated and cycled as designed, with good air flow. Lint removed from unit, operational test good. No leaks observed during service.
Arrived to inspect no ice. I found the unit started making ice again after the call for service, and the issue has been intermittent. Current temperatures within the unit were 14 in the FC and 43 in the RC with settings of 0 and 37. The sealed system was running upon my arrival and the compressor was very hot. I shut the unit down and allowed pressures to normalize and restarted it. I found the discharge immediately out of the compressor was very hot, but the return from the mullion heater had lost most of its heat, even before the condenser. There is an unexpected vibration noise that is intermittent, coming from the compressor and changes with its speed. Amp draw to the compressor/inverter was .9 amps at full speed. I feel the compressor is quite weak and will require replacement. The UI is cracked. Office to authorize and order p/n WPW10151236 UI, p/n W10841139 compressor, p/n SF8404 service port and p/n WPW10143759 uv drier. Please allow 3 hrs for sealed system service. No leaks ob
