DRYER WHIRLPOOL WED5620HW1 Arrived on site for a dryer that would not turn on due to steam entering in the consul. Inspected unit and work area. Checked gasket and found lint buildup around the gasket on the door. Removed lint off of gasket and tested unit in a timed heat cycle. Unit heated and tumbled and I did not detect any steam or heat coming from the door. I spoke to trade care team and spoke to Karen.Unit is working as designed. Call complete.
WASHER MAYTAG MVWC465HW2 "Arrived on site for a washer that had gone back into a rinse after going into a spin and drain. Inspected unit and work area. Customer had unit turned off and I plug the unit back in. And it went into the rinse cycle again and started filling. Canceled wash cycle and placing it into service diagnostics. Found no stored error codes. Placed unit in An auto test and unit ran as designed. Tested unit in a high speed span and unit right now as designed. I called Techline and spoke to Dave SR# 7728737786. He asked the customer about what was in the load and load size. Customer had stated that she had ran a towel, washcloths, and a couple shirts and shorts together. The load was only roughly about 8 items. Dave mentioned that the issue was probably with an off-balance load in that the unit would go back into a rinse in order to balance out the clothes. He said the new controls arent registering off balance loads as well as they used to and thats why it probably did
DRYER AMANA NED4655EW1 "Arrived on site for a dryer that has no power. Inspected unit and work area. Removed terminal block cover and tested voltage. Found 122 V going from L1 to neutral, 122 V going from L2 to neutral but less than a volt going from L1 to L2. Checked continuity on the cord and found continuity but singe marks on the L1 prong. Advised the customer that he has an electrical issue and will need to get an electrician to fix his outlet or breaker. I also advised him he may want to change his power cord. Asked customer if he wanted to buy the door from me. He advised he was going to try and fix the outlet and see if the power cord still worked first. Unit is working as designed. Call complete."
WASHER WHIRLPOOL WTW5000DW3 Arrived on site for a washer that is not completing cycles. Inspected unit and work area. Placed unit in service diagnostics and found an F8 E1 (long/no fill) error code. Tested valves and found valves working properly. Tested drain pump and could not hear water draining into the drain pipe. Removed drain hose and found drain hose going 3 feet down into the drain pipe and drain hose soaked at the bottom. I advise the customer that their issue was with a siphoning condition causing the unit not to complete cycles. I shortened the drain hose and tested unit. Unit is working as designed. Call complete.

Unit held a vacuum for seven minutes without budging. Charged unit and got unit up to 145 psi on the high side and 1 psi on the low side. Unit is working as designed. Call complete."
REFRIGERATOR KITCHENAID KRFC300ESS01 "Arrived on site for refrigerator if its not cooling. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advised that the issue is not that its not cooling but that they were wanting to check to make sure that their unit is functioning properly. They had had a prior repair done about 10 days ago and the unit had been better since the repair but they were unsure if the problem was completely fixed. I checked the unit and unit was sitting at 2°F in the freezer. The refrigerator section was sitting at 38°F. Checked evaporator and found no evidence of frost buildup. All fans were running and unit was working as designed. Advise customer that since their repair, it appeared that the unit had been reaching normal temperatures. I advise them that no repairs would need to be made as the unit is working as it should. Call complete."
WASHER WHIRLPOOL WTW5000DW3 "Arrived on site for washer tripping breaker. Upon arrival I immediately saw the washer was connected to a gfci outlet. I called whirlpool tech line and spoke with Steve (sr# 7728465555), who instructed I use an extension cord to be able to connect the washer to a dedicated non-gfci outlet and run an automatic test on the unit. He said that if all ran well and no error codes were present with the unit after test then unit would be fine and that the gfci would need to be replaced with either a high grade gfci or simply a regular outlet. After running test there were no error codes that popped up.unit is functioning as it was designed. Instructed customer to have an electrician to swap out gfci for better version or plain 120v outlet. Call complete"
REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL WRT311FZDB01 Arrived on site for fridge not cooling properly. Upon further inspection I found that the evaporator fan motor the condenser fan motor as well as a compressor all running. The evaporator inside the freezer had absolutely no ice buildup of any kind and was completely bone dry. The compressor was also extremely hot to the touch to the point that you could cook food on it. Unit will need a new sealed system repair. Office to reschedule after looking up availability also will need to schedule those calls for two hours and we need a system tech to perform repairs; ordrng 1 W10836706 (evaporator) and 1 W10913906 (coupler) and 1 WPW10143759 (dryer) and 1 WPW10507886 (compressor)
REFRIGERATOR JENN-AIR JFX2897DRM02 Arrived on site to complete sealed system repair for refrigerator. Soldered all connections and pulled unit into vacuum. Charged unit with recommended amount of refrigerant. Found all is functioning properly including dispenser and no parts were needed today. Advised homeowner dispenser was not functional as melt water from ice bin melting froze over motor but is now working properly.

Customer advised that the unit was not making ice prior to it not cooling. Checked unit and found refrigerator sitting at 78°F. Removed back cover and took pressures. Found the low side sitting at -15 psi. The high side was sitting at 210 psi. This would indicate that there’s an issue with a restriction. Ordering sealed system parts including compressor, evaporator‘s, three-way valves, dryer, and coupler. Office will need to schedule return visit due to out of stock compressor. ; ordrng 1 8201675 (compressor) and 1 W10913906 (coupler) and 1 W11036448 (solenoid) and 1 W11116006 (evaporator RC) and 1 WPW10143759 (dryer) and 1 WPW10608485 (evaporator)"
REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL WRF767SDHZ00 "Arrived on site for refrigerator that won’t light in the top refrigerator section or freezer section. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advised of the issue started in the freezer. Attempted to remove freezer light and began to get excess resistance. Worked on the freezer light for five minutes and once the light came loose the female connector on the wires coming from the control had popped loose. Attempted to dig out wires to reconnect female connector but was unsuccessful. Tried to wire but the wires together using one of the modules but was unable to clamp the wires coming through the insulation. I called Techline and spoke to Brian SR# 7728233696. I advised him of my findings and he then video chatted me to verify findings.
WASHER MAYTAG MVWB835DW0 "Arrived on site for washing machine that was leaking water out of the back. Inspected unit and work area. Ran unit through an auto test and did not find any of the water inlet hoses, drain hose, or drainpipe leaking. Found water paddling and flying from beneath the washer. Lifted up washer and did not find any water residue from underneath the unit but on the back wall. Removed back cover and placing it in another auto cycle. Found water dripping from the housing. Replaced housing and tested unit. Unit is working as designed. Call complete."
REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL WRF535SWHZ04 Arrived on site for refrigerator that had a miss shaped gasket. Inspected unit and work area. Found gasket not sealing up at the top of the gasket. Replaced gasket and use heat gun to form a proper seal. Advise customer to keep the door closed for at least 34 hours until the gasket forms. Call complete.
DRYER MAYTAG MEDB835DC4 "Arrived on site for dryer that won’t turn on. Inspected unit and work area. Removed terminal block cover and tested voltage. From the L1 circuit to the L2 circuit I found 236 V. However from L1 to neutral I found 5 V and from L2 to neutral, I found 233V. From Neutral to ground, found 16.35 V. Tested unit from the wall and found 120.2 V from L1 to ground and L2 to ground. However, found 16V from L1 to neutral and 233 V from L2 to ground. I advise the customer that they will need an electrician to fix their electrical issues. Call complete."

Placed unit and a water dispenser and found water turned off to the unit. Turned on water to the unit and water began to flow and drip from the water valve. Removed water valve and checked connections. Found water leaking from a crack on the valve. Replaced valve and tested unit. Unit is working as designed. Call complete.

DISHWASHER MAYTAG MDB7749SBB2 "Arrived on site for dishwasher that was activating the control lock after touching any button. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advised that the control panel I’ve been doing some funny things with the lights on the control.Replaced control panel and placed unit in service diagnostics . Found a F2 E1 (UI stuck key), F6 E4 (float switch open), F10 E1 (dispenser electrical problem), and F5 E2 (door stuck closed) error codes. Ran unit through an auto tested unit worked as designed. Found drain hose going directly uphill to the garbage disposal and advised customer to fix his drain hose seating to prevent a siphoning condition.

Customer had unplug the unit for 12 hours prior to arrival and only have the unit plugged in for 24 hours prior to that. Ran unit through diagnostics and found evaporator fan not running even when the evaporator fan was turned on. Ordering evaporator fan and will return; ordrng 1 WP2315549 (evap fan motor)

Placed an in-service diagnostics and found an F8 E1 (low/no fill), F0E3 (overload), and F0 E5 (unbalanced load) error codes. Ran the unit through a manual fill test and both valves operated as designed. Ran unit through an auto testing unit ran as designed. Customer advised that the issue was intermittent and that it would start fine but halfway through the cycle at times it would show up with that LF code. Replaced control and housing and tested unit. Unit is working as designed. Call complete."

Customer also advise the dishwasher door would not come down all the way. Replace gasket due to small tear in gasket and pull the dishwasher out. Found the insulation on the left side was causing restriction for the door to open fully. Readjusted the insulation and tested unit. Unit is working as designed. Call complete.

Tested voltage at the wall and found proper voltage. Removed terminal block cover and found power cord burned and terminal block blown up at the connector for the L2 connectors. She bought a new cord and replaced it. Tested unit and unit is working as designed. Call complete.

WASHER WHIRLPOOL WTW4850HW1 Arrived on site for a washer that was pulling in warm water during the cold water cycle. Inspected unit and work area. Removed hoses from the back and tested water temperatures. Found hoses were swapped and cold water valve was getting hot water and the hot water valve was getting cold water. Swapped hoses and tested unit. Unit is working as designed. Call complete.
REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL WRX986SIHZ00 Arrived on site is intermittently turning off. Inspected unit and work area please customer states that the unit is turning off by itself Multiple times each day. Placed in service diagnostics and found evaporator fan in the freezer compartment not running properly in the freezer thermistor intermittently bouncing between passing and saying it was open.I called tech line and spoke to Bruce SR# 7727376111. Do you advised that the evaporator motor fan was causing the unit to draw incoming DC voltage and was intermittently shutting off the unit. Replaced evaporator motor and tested unit. Unit is working as designed. Call complete.

Found unit plugged into a power strip on the Kit hen GFCI breaker. Tested unit in several fan tests for freezer, refrigerator, and ice box. Found all to be good. I checked voltage at the supply control and found proper voltage. I replaced the supply control and called Techline and spoke to Austin SR # 7727376111. He had me run through an ice harvest, damper control test, and run through fan tests again. He found no issues with the unit from the DC side causing the problem. He advised me to have the customer put the unit on its own designated regular outlet (non GFCI) and to call back if further problems persist. Call complete."
MICROWAVE WHIRLPOOL WMH31017HW3 "Arrived on site for microwave that is making a rattling sound. Inspected unit and work area. Was unable to replicate the issue immediately so I tried to remove the microwave from the cabinet. When trying to unbolt the mounting screws, I found one of those bolts improperly installed. Found several install issues but was unable to remove the microwave from the cabinet. Customer was given a microwave with venting and she has no vent in place for the air to go. She advised she was told by her home warranty company they would send a ventless microwave. Customer is going to contact the home warranty company to remove the microwave from the cabinet and will contact us back if further repairs needed. Call complete."
