arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker not dispensing ice. Upon further inspection, I found that the ice bin coupling was missing, along with two washers and a spacer. Also, the ice bin button assembly is missing. I am ordering the spacer, washer, coupling washer, coupling, bin button, bin spring, and bin latch. Marcones is showing the bin latch to be discontinued; however, the customer advised that if the part cannot be located, then we can move forward with the other repairs. Due to my iPad not getting good reception, office to schedule return service. No water leaks observed during service.

arrived on site to inspect washer with error codes. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics and error codes 9/1 and 5/4 appeared. I erased the error codes and began diagnostics and during the drain cycle, the unit drained for several minutes before it finally shut off and showed error code 9/1 (long drain) again. I used my wet vac and emptied the remaining water through the drain pump and removed the drain filter and found a large amount of debris wrapped around several Bobbie pins. There was a large amount of rust inside the filter from the pins and I found some broken plastic pieces as well. To keep from having a call back, I removed and replaced the drain pump and tested the unit. Unit operated as designed. No water leaks observed during service and photos were taken of before and after service work. Job completed.

arrived on site to inspect dishwasher draining issues. Upon arrival, the customer advised that the unit appears to be not draining well and it has a foul odor. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested. Unit operated as designed with no error codes. Customer advised that he uses pods for detergent and I advised to not use them as they produce too many soap suds that can damage the unit. I advised the customer to switch to a liquid or liquid gel and use only two teaspoons at a time and to continue to use rinse aid. I advised the customer to place a cup of vinegar in the top rack and to run a normal cycle to clean the unit from soap debris. Also, I advised the customer that once the unit is done he should hold the cancel button for approximately three seconds to engage the drain pump so that the unit will drain the remaining water from the drain filter area and it won't have as much standing water. No water leaks observed during service. Job completed.

arrived on site to inspect oven temps too high. Upon further inspection, I placed my thermal couple on the center rack and tested on bake at 350 degrees. After approximately 7 mins, the unit was reading 440 degrees at the 350 degree beep. After about 10 mins the unit read 344 degrees, 14 mins--402 degrees, 17 mins--328 degrees, 20 mins--370 degrees, and 22 mins--338 for an average of 370 degrees. I advised the customer of my findings and calibrated the unit down 10 degrees to offset the difference. Advised the customer to wait 20-30 mins after they turn the unit on to place their food in the unit to cook in order to give the unit appropriate time to heat the entire inside. No gas leaks detected during service. Job completed.

I removed the flu and inspected the inside and found it to look brand new; no burn marks. I advised the customer that he would need to contact Whirlpool customer care and see if the flu can be covered and replaced due to the issue being cosmetic and is not covered under warranty at this time. arrived on site to install previously ordered and diagnosed parts. As I began to install the sump/motor assembly, I noticed that the part I had did not have the diverter on it. I checked the part number and found that I have part number ending in 5157 and the part previous tech was part number ending in 5057. The customer tag on the box showed part number 5057, but actually was 5157. I contacted SW at the office and advised of my situation and she advised that the actual part ending in 5057 was at the office and she was placing it to the side for me. I advised the customer of the situation and they were in an agreement for me to go pick up the part and come back. I returned with the correct sump/motor assembly and installed the part. I tested the unit in diagnostics and the operated as designed. I placed the fasteners, that were ordered, onto the kick panel as well. No water leaks observed during service. Job completed. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that she just moved in and had to use a different plug as the wall outlet was a different four prong outlet. I verified voltage at the outlet then checked voltage at the terminal block. The terminal block had bad connections and burn marks on the connections. I removed and replaced the terminal block and checked voltage again and found 240 at the red and black wires, .819 volts at the black and white wires and 240 volts at the red and white wires when there should be 120 at black/white and red/white. I immediately unplugged the unit and advised the customer that they would need to have an electrician service the wall outlet and explained my findings. Also, I advised the customer to have the electrician change the wall outlet to a dryer outlet and not an oven outlet and once she plugged the unit in and it still did not work to call the office and schedule a return service.
