ICE MACHINE KITCHENAID KUIX305ESS2 "Arrived on site for an ice machine that is forming an even size ice cubes in the ice is cloudy. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advised that they are on really hard water and advise of the unit is supposed to have a clear ice technology. The replaced filter light was flashing and I asked her the last time they had replaced the filter was. She advised that it was replaced in January. I told her that with the filter being logged, it would cause calcium build up to get through and cause cloudy ice. Found calcium buildup inside the entire unit. Advise customer to run a couple clean cyclesbefore use again. Found water valve barely pulling in any water due to calcium buildup. Replaced valve Call complete."

ICE MACHINE WHIRLPOOL GI15PDXZS1 "Arrived on site for an ice machine that was making extremely thin ice and was melting. Inspected unit and work area. Placed unit in the service diagnostics and found the fill valve not pulling in very much water and timing out due to lack of water flow. Advise customer that I would need to replace the fill valve and that I wouldnt be able to make sure the water level sensor on the recirculating pump was working properly until that was replaced. After installing the water valve, ran unit through a normal ice making cycle. Found water level sensor only allowing the reservoir to fill up a quarter of the way up the water reservoir. I advise the customer that they may be OK with that but it appeared that the water level sensor was out. Replaced recirculating pump as well and tested unit in a normal icemaking cycle. Unit is working as designed. Call complete."
