Wes was friendly and came within the scheduled time frame. I disagree that there is nothing wrong with my stove/oven. I've had a Whirlpool stove for the 17 years prior to purchasing this new one. Wes said the problem with the left rear burner heating while I use the stove is that the oven is vented through that burner. The oven vent came through the same place on my old Whirlpool stove but the rear burner did not heat to the point that it could cause injury. The first day I used the new stove, I touched that burner inadvertently and received a burn on my hand. My granddaughters cook with me and I enjoy that. They are all young, six to 13 years old. I am afraid that one of them may be burned by accidentally touching the back left burner. Is there any research you can do on this particular stove to be certain it is not faulty? When I called for service, the agent told me to unplug immediately. There was urgency in her voice. Why would I feel comfortable after being told it's the norm(?), when I hasn't been the norm for 17 years? I have filed this same complaint with Whirlpool. I'm waiting to hear from them.

DRYER MAYTAG MEDX655DW Arrived on site for the unit is not drying properly. Tested the unit and found the heater will turn on. Found the outside vent flap stuck. Adjusted the vent and tested the unit. Unit works properly and advise customer to clean air vents every six months.

Tested the unit and found the timer is defective. Replace the timer and tested the unit. Unit works properly and advise customer to clean the air vents every six months.

Disassembled the back panel to gain access to the compressor. Found the copper tubing is next to the compressor and causing a vibration noise. Adjusted the copper tubing away from the compressor. Unit is working properly and all water connections were dry at the time of service.
REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL WRF990SLAM00 Arrived on site to perform sealed system repair on refrigerator. Upon arrival noted freezer temperature was at 0° to -1°. Also noted RC temperatures were between 36° and 38°. Freezer evaporator also had a full frost pattern. No sealed system failures at this time and unit may have possibly had an air leak due to a door that was not fully closed. No further repairs are needed at this time and all is working properly. No leaks were found at time of service.
