LG washer error code: FE

This error code means your LG washer is overfilling. The main cause of this problem is your intake valves are faulty and not turning off when they should. To fix the problem, you will need to replace the intake valves. This can be done by turning the water supply off and then removing the old valves and installing new ones. Once replaced, turn your washer on and off to make sure the code has gone. If the code is still showing on the display screen, get a qualified technician to come and inspect your appliance.

LG washer error code: LE

This error code means the motor in your LG washer has locked due to overloading. To remove the code, take some of your laundry out of the washer and then reset your washing machine by turning it off for 10 seconds before turning it back on again. Also, make sure your laundry is evenly distributed in the drum.

LG washer error code: OE

This error code means the drain hose is bent or blocked so cannot drain. To fix the problem, inspect the drain hose for any signs of damage or if it is bent. You can also disconnect the hose and check for any blockages. If you find any damage, repair or replace the drain hose. If repairing or replacing the drain hose doesn’t remove the error code, you will need to inspect the drain pump.

LG washer error code: dE

This error code means the door on your LG washer isn’t able to lock correctly. This problem can be fixed by making sure no item of laundry is stopping the door from closing properly, and if that isn’t the cause, pour a small amount of rubbing alcohol onto a cloth or swab and wipe the door lock with it. This will remove any debris from the door lock. Once cleaned, reset your washer and check if the error code has gone. If the dE code is still showing on the display, you may need to get your door lock replaced by a qualified technician or you can do it yourself if you have the tools and knowledge to do so.

LG washer error code: Cl

This error code means the child safety lock has been activated. To remove the code, press the child lock button down for 5 seconds. This should remove the code, and you’ll be able to open the washer door again.

LG washer error codes: UE and UB

These error codes mean your load of laundry is not balanced. This can be fixed by opening your washer door and redistributing the laundry to make it more balanced in the drum. If you’re washing heavy items like towels, you may need to wash them separately to prevent these codes from showing.

LG washer error code: tE

This error code indicates a heating problem. In most cases, this is caused by a faulty thermistor that monitors the heat level in your washer. To fix the underlying problem, switch your LG washer off for about 10 seconds before turning the power back on. Once turned on, press the spin button until the spin part of the cycle progress bar disappears. Your washer will then drain, and you can turn it onto a new wash cycle.

LG washer error code: SUD

This error code means there are too many suds in your washing machine. To fix the problem, your best option is to simply leave your washing machine and let the suds naturally reduce until your washer starts back up again. Alternatively, you can manually remove the water from the washer. To avoid this error happening in the future, make sure you use a high-efficiency (HE) detergent and don’t use more than is recommended.

LG washer error code: IE

This error code means your LG washer isn’t able to fill with water. The most likely cause of this code is a blocked inlet filter or the intake valves aren’t turned on properly. To fix the problem, check both of these components to ensure they are not defective. Also, check the inlet hoses to ensure they are not blocked or bent. If any component is defective, replace it.

LG washer error code: PF

When this error code shows on your LG washer display screen, it means the washer has had a power failure during the cycle. To remove the error code, reset the cycle and it should start up again.

LG washer error code: PE

This error code means the water level sensor is faulty. To remove the error code, try switching the power off for about 10 seconds before turning it back on again. If this doesn’t work, the water level sensor might need to be replaced.

LG washer error code: tCL

This error code means the drum inside your washing machine needs to be cleaned. This can be done by turning your washer onto a clean cycle. Before turning it onto the cycle, fill your detergent drawer with 1 cup of white vinegar and make sure the drum is empty.

LG washer error code: CE

This error code is caused by a short circuit within the electronics of the washer. Turn your washer off and then turn it back on after 10 seconds. If a reset doesn’t solve the problem, you will need to get your LG washer looked at by a qualified technician.
