"Arrived on site for a washing machine that has a locked lid and water at the bottom of the washer. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit just stopped in the middle of the wash, and has not been running since. I did find the washer full of water and getting access underneath. I did not find any wires broken and checked resistance on the drain pump. I found the drain pump open and the drain pump had internally combusted. I replaced the drain pump and checked my loads from the control. I found all loads within range. I tested the unit and found the unit continually stuck in a drain due to water being stuck in the washer for the past week and a half. I replaced out the control in around the unit through an auto test. The unit ran and operated as designed with no leaks present during operation. Call complete."

"KRMF706EBS01 Arrived to inspect no cool. I found the source of the leak at the dye drier connection and I removed and replaced the drier to correct. The customer advised the last repair did not last overnight. I vacuumed the system to 270 microns and then it held below 500, reaching 470 microns after approximately 15 minutes and steadily tapering off, towards the end of the monitored time. The increase in microns is likely due to the fact the system had a severe leak and lost refrigerant while running, creating a vacuum in the low side and when shut down, it drew significant moisture. The customer will contact us if issues persist. No water connections to unit."

Arrived on site to inspect unit for burners not heating. Upon closer inspection found cord was hooked up backwards. Swapped cord around but after doing so one on the leads pulled out of eyelet due to improper crimping. "MVW7230HW1 Arrived to inspect noise. The customer advised the sound was similar to grinding gears. Service test mode had F6E3 and I cleared for testing, also attributing the stored error to the possibility of the error to gear case/motor issues and over-currenting, known to occasionally cause that error. During manual test modes, I could hear excessive gear noise at lower spin speeds. Inspection of the motor and gear case area reveled the presence of oil in an apparent recent leak, series of events. Further inspection revealed parts of a garment had wrapped around the upper shaft, damaging the inner seal and causing water to incur into the planetary drive area and subsequent loss of oil at the motor end. I moved and replaced the gear case and slider and then calibrated the control. Testing in automatic and manual modes proofed the issue as resolved and the unit operated as designed, with all functions present. No leaks observed during service."

The upper and lower seals had ruptured and allowed oil and water to pass through the gear case assembly, resulting in corrosion that had locked the slider in place. The unit will require the gear case and associated parts, including the rotor due to severely damaged teeth. Testing the water complaint, I found the valve assembly fully working and I suspect the customer complaint for no water was due to the software locking the water system out for flood prevention. I diagnosed the shorted harness to the line VAC supply for the left side element, which had shorted direct to chassis under the upper air guide. The interlock assembly that had been recently replaced had catastrophically failed, due to the nature of the short to chassis and welded contacts together within a microswitch, permanently. I performed a temporary repair to the harness and the failed interlock switch and we will return with the correct parts. Installation of the fuse after the temporary repair allowed the unit to regain full operation. "Arrived on site for a washing machine that is leaking. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advised that the unit leaks specifically on cold water washes and seems to leak right after its done spinning. I inspected the unit and checked for any water debris. I did find water residue around the back and side panels of the unit, but no clear indicator of where it was leaking from. I filled the basket up 2/3 the way up with water and found a slight leak at the valve. I drained out the water and found no water residue or leaking happening underneath the washer. I examined the tub for any cracks and found none. Due to the fact that the customer said this happens during spin and the leak present at the valve, I replaced the tub ting and valve. I tested the unit and found the unit working and operating as designed. I had the customer run a load after I left and told her I would call her back. I called the customer back and the customer advised that the unit had leaked. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Bruce SR# 7738946778. on the complaint and what has been done to this unit, the issue would be with oversuds King in the washer, and that the customer will need to use lighter amount so with their clothes. this point, not to make any for the repair and a half because birds use a clean washer tablet to clean out any exercise inside of her washer. Arrived onsite for range oven not working. On install the oven would not come on gain access to the igniter and it was 64 ohms. Testing to oven regulator and there was no voltage to the regulator. Tested at the control board and there was 124 vac. Chased it to the igniter and on one side I had the 124 vac the other side was 0 vac. When I went to disconnect the igniter and one of the pins pulls out of the connector. I reseated the pin and plugged everything in and tried the bake setting again. The unit ignited this time and it heated to 350?.the unit is operating as designed and no gas leaks detected during service. No parts were installed.

I found the door would not fully close and was causing the interior light circuit to energize, creating a 60Hz hum, until the door was pressed on, activating the switch. The issue had likely burned the interior light out and it will require replacement upon return. The cabinet installation was slightly incorrect, but enough to cause undue inward pressure at the top of the unit and showed as the door inoperability and a slight deformation to the trim piece under control panel. The interlock assembly will be required and and I will also add the hinges, in case of need. The unit will require shimming to prevent lower front vent contact as well. "WDT751SAPZ0 Arrived to inspect water pooling and non-operation. Discussion with the customer revealed the unit appeared to work on the first few initial attempts, but has recently stopped washing and the customer thought the circulation pump had stopped operation. Service test mode revealed F7E1, F5E1, F9E1 and F10E2, which were cleared for testing. I found and reported anomalies with the VAC supply for the circulation pump and that the impeller was loose, to the MFG engineer. I corrected the pump issue and reassembled finding that after several service test modes, full functionality returned to the machine. I advised the customer to contact us if further issues occur. No leaks observed during service."

"Arrived onsite for range with a fire. On inspection the breaker was tripped, I reset breaker and turn the bake on and it immediately started to smoke. I turn it off and did a close inspection of the burner and found a substance on the burner that was causing the smoke. I cleaned the substance off the burner and restarted the bake to 350?. It smoked at first and the smoke went away after a few minutes. I tested the broiler to 500? and I ran all the burners on high for 5 minutes to stress the oven out. It did not have any issues during the stress test. The unit is operating as designed."

"Arrived on site for not cooling, upon arrival inspected unit and is hot in both boxes. Both condenser and evaporator fans are both on. Compressor is not running. Ran diagnostics to force compressor on and it will not turn on. Removed rear panel to test compressor. Found start device connected to harness but not mounted to compressor. Secured start device to compressor. Test unit and compressor is now starting. Unit is beginning to cool. Unit is now operating correctly. Job complete"

Arrived on site to test unit for not filling properly. Found error f8e1(long fill). Found the way drain was zip tied to valve caused it to close with vibration and use. Removed zip tie and opened valve. Tested unit and found no issues. Unit is now working as designed. No leaks detected. No parts replaced. Job complete.

Arrived on site to diagnose range with 2 burners not cycling. Tested unit ajd found right front and right rear burners are not cycling almost at all. Checked infinite switches and found both associated switches were burnt / shorting. Replaced both RR and RF switches. Tested unit and confirmed proper function. Repair completed. Parts used - WP3149404 / WP3149400.

"Arrived onsite for washer making a squeaky sound. On interior ran the unit in diagnostics mode and why the washer started to spin it was squeaky. Stop the unit and went under no the unit found no oil on the sides but there was slip marks on the pulley. I pulled the pulley down to make sure that there was no oil on the pulley, there was no oil. I installed a new belt and re ran the diagnostic cycle and there was no squeaking with the new belt. Told,the customer that we will know if it fixed when she runs a load. No water leaks detected during service."

Informed customer that is normal with HE equipment at max unit will use 19 gallons of water informed customer drum itself is 55 gallons to give reference point unit will never go over halfway full with water. Arrived onsite for a refrigerator not cooling correctly and not making ice. I found the evaporator coil completely frosted over. I found no issues with the defrost heater circuit. I found the thermistor in range of where it should be. I found the evaporator fan working as designed. I could force a defrost and the heater worked as designed. I removed all the frost using my steamer and changed the main control. Call complete. USED W11558182.

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator thats not making ice as fast as it was previously. I tested temps and the FC was at -1 degrees and the ice box was at 6 degrees. The ice bucket was full to the top and when I removed the bucket the icemaker went thru a harvest and dumped the ice and the mold filled with water. I cant find anything wrong with the icemaker at this time. I went over making sure the FC door closes properly and showed him how the left side can remain open if it is not closed correctly. I explained that there could have been a defrost issue that has now corrected itself. I did find the right side RC gasket torn at the top and bottom on the inside nest to the mullion and it needs to be replaced. I explained to him to monitor the ice production until we return with the gasket. Ordering W10830274 gasket. RS for Mon 4/29/2024. NO PARTS INSTALLED.; ordrng 1 W10830274 (Gasket)

"Arrived on site to replace previously diagnosed parts. Replaced control (W11201274) and switch (WPW10448876). Unit is still showing F9E1 and F3E1 error code. Inspected unit, found harness leading to drain pump has failed. Will need to order lower harness to fix issue. Ordering part, rescheduled for 4/30. "Arrived on site to inspect microwave shutting off mid cycle. Upon further inspection, the tenant advised that they went to cook a meal at 2 minutes and the unit tripped the breaker. I tested the unit with a cup,of water at 2 minutes and approximately 30 seconds into the test, the breaker tripped. I cycled power to the unit and retested and it operated as designed. I removed the unit from the wall and gained access to the components inside the casing and tested the switches, fuse, thermostat, magnetron and its thermostat and all components are good. Retested again and the unit operated as designed. Due to the intermittent tripping of the breaker, I removed and replaced the interlocks and main control and reassembled the unit placed it back in its space and retested.
