Arrived on a vacant site to service gas glass cooktop. Inspected unit and work area. Found glass cracked in front (see SD-pic). Tested operation and found both back burners not igniting. Found no spark on back left burner. Will need to gain access to components to continue to diagnose. High possibility when removing glass top it will crack more and possibly break.

"Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed parts. Upon further inspection I found significant water and condensation build up inside the unit. Taking the unit apart I found the same. The customer informed me that the ventilation was not fixed yet, but had been closed during some rain a few days prior. Due to the flap on the vent not working and it being closed, I advised the customer not to run the unit due to safety; that is until the vent gets fixed. I installed the two front pins and bolts, all four wheels, and a new belt. I then ran the unit quickly to verify it had heat and would spin. The unit was now working as designed. I left the unit unplugged and informed the customer. Call complete."

Arrived on site for dryer not having power. I inspected the unit and work area. I tested the unit and it would not power on. I gained access to the terminal block and found it wired incorrectly. I wired it properly and tested voltage to the unit I found L1 only showing 25 vac and L2 showing 120vac. I reset the breaker and retested the unit. I found good voltage across both lines. The unit now powers and and works as designed. Job complete.

"Arrived on site for Washer tripping circut, has already been fixed once, same issue happening. Found GFCI customer previously had washer plugged into was tripped. They now have the washer plugged into another GFCI in the laundry room and it is now tripping the breaker. Ran diagnostics and no error codes came on. I called Whirlpool tech line and spoke to Dave. I explained the washer being plugged into GFCI and he agreed the washer will continue to trip the breaker until they have a normal single face outlet installed that is not a GFCI.

Arrived on site for the ice dispenser chute hanging/broken. Upon arrival I inspected the ice dispenser and found the chute mounted improperly but no components were broken. I remounted the unit and did a few jerk and pull tests to ensure it was secure and the issue would not return. The dispenser chute is now mounted properly and securely and the unit dispenses ice as designed. Call complete.

Arrived back on site to install dispenser due to current one not opening properly. R&R and unit tested properly to customers satisfaction. Job completed.

Arrived on site for broken lid lock on dryer. Upon arrival found strike broken in half. I entered the unit into diagnostics to test the lid lock assembly and could not force it to activate. Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed parts. Inspected unit and work area. Went to disassemble unit and found an ice sheet on the upper wall due to the customer not defrosting the unit manually. The customer advised that his wife was here on the prior visit and she did not relay over that he needed to defrost the unit. Spoke to CS and he was advising that the unit need to be completely defrosted due to the potential possibility of breaking several components if the unit was not defrosted from the evaporator down.

"Onsite for freezer not cooling. Found compressor cutting off when unit is still 80 degrees internally. Compressor pulling 1.0A. C/S she had a power outage recently. Replaced start device, control, and thermistor (out of spec). Informed customer to put partially full water bottle in unit, wait 24-48hrs for proper cooling temps, then check to see if water is frozen before putting any food inside unit. Arrived on site for refrigerator needing previously diagnosed thermistors and ACU. Upon arrival I installed need parts then reassembled and tested unit. Arrived on site for oven is not heating up at all. Found oven was set to Spanish and placed in sabbath mode. Changed language to English and took out of sabbath mode. Placed in diagnostics and got F1E1. Only error code. Cleared error code. Removed control and installed new control. Placed in bake to preheat at 350. Oven heating as designed. Placed in diagnostics again. No error codes came on. Job completed.

Arrived onsite and replaced control and console together due to ongoing failure to start a cycle and communication errors. All checks good.

Arrived onsite for washer making loud noise or off balanced. Upon inspection of the diagnostics table I found no stored error codes in the unit. I ran automatic test and found that at the start of high spin the unit will screech loudly and then a couple more times intermittently through out the spin. I removed the belt and replaced it with van stock part # (W10808317). I tested the unit and it is no longer making a screech noise at any time in the spin cycle. I tested it one more time and the unit is working as designed at this time. No leaks detected during time of service. Job complete.

Arrived on site for water leaking into fresh food section. I inspected the unit and work area. I found water under the crisper draw. I inspected the drip pan and it is now warped. I gained access to the drain tube in the back of the unit. I found it sealing against the cabinet. I removed the drain tube and found a partial restriction. I cleared the restriction. I attempted to fish a wire up the drain tube in the cabinet and it would not go past a couple of inches. I used a long screw driver and found the same thing. The insulation around the drain tube has collapsed causing the unit not to drain properly. Job complete.

Arrived on site for water leaking. Found solenoid on valve not fully closing gained access to icemaker found broken and exposed wires at liner harness

"Arrived on site for refrigerator needing previously diagnosed sealed system equipment. Upon arrival found unit had no refrigerant left in system due to size of leak. I installed new compressor, evap coil (due to visibility of dye leak), drip pan heater (major leak area of original leak in system. After vacuuming unit for 30 minutes and verifying no signs of pressure leak I recharged system with 6.750z of refrigerant. Found after letting unit run over another 30 minutes that unit was cooling and evap coil was frosting over evenly. Found psi lvls just around 150 and 0 psi after run time testing. Informed customer it could take 24hrs minimum to stabilize cooling temps. Call complete"

"Arrived on site for refrigerator not cooling properly on rc side. Upon arrival I checked temps in both compartments (Rc temp: 55, FC temp: 14 degrees.) found ice bin was full of ice and showed no evidence of a cooling issue right away. I checked thermistor value from main control to rc thermistor (6.39ohms). Also ran tests 4 steps 1-5/and found sealed system operating efficiently. Customer stated a month before arrival unit had a major defrost issue. They showed me photos of ice they defrosted and I confirmed it was in fact a defrost related issue but in the past month it hasnt come back.

Upon further inspection I found drain pump and shorted out and cause door lock to fail to open at end of cycle. Arrived on site for refrigerator making loud noise during ice dispenser use. Upon arrival customer stated unit hadnt been making noise for a few days and seemed fine but wanted it checked. I ran visual and stress tests on dispenser to try and replicate noises. Failed to see any issues. After discussing with customer the symptoms I found the most likely cause was ice cubes getting jammed within auger grinding teeth of ice bucket itself. I disassembled ice bin and found dispenser flap popped out of place. Realigned flap and found unit full opening and closing as designed. Asked customer to email in audio recording of issue if it were to come back. Call complete

Asked customer what kind of detergent was used. Had used laundry detergent by mistake causing unit to over suds and leak from the corner. Ran empty cycle to flush unit. Instructed customer on detergent use and made recommendations for pre- measured pods/tablets to avoid over suds condition. Job complete

Arrived onsite and replaced thermal fuse for heating failure. Unit is now operating as designed. Advised customer on repair. All else checks good.

Arrived on site for dryer not tumbling but heating. I inspected the unit and work area. I tested the unit and set the timer to timed dry. Before I could hit the start button the dryer started to heat up. I gained access to the heating element and found it stuck to the chassis of its housing. I separated the heating element and inspected it I found it still intact. I reshaped the heating element away from its housing so it wont make contact. I also found the thermal fuse was open because the element was heating on it own.

I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested the ice maker in test 120 and it harvested as designed. I removed the ice maker and found the fill tube heater harness damaged. I removed and replaced the fill tube heater assembly and secured the wires to the top of the ice maker housing with foil tape and retested. Unit is operating as designed. I cycled power to the unit. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site for a wall oven with its console being intermittently unresponsive. Upon arrival the customer walked me through what was happening on the console. He was worried about the +2 min, +1 min, and +30 sec buttons not functioning correctly for the MW. He found that these buttons are sometimes unresponsive; when they are responsive, these three buttons will sometimes take you to a different option. The customer also stated that the unit had randomly thrown some sort of error on the screen. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found no stored error codes. I called techline and spoke to Joel and received SR# 7731381386. Joel referenced the user care guide on proper operation. He informed me that the +2, +1, +30 buttons for the MW should only be used while the MW is running. We found these three buttons were the only buttons the customer was worried about, and the only ones acting out per customer worries. The customer had been using them before running the MW. I ran the MW and found these buttons no longer acting erroneously when pressed. Joel recommended letting the customer know it is as designed and not to install any part. We also found the unit not connected to WiFi. Joel also recommended connecting it to get any software updates.

"Arrived on site for a dryer with the lint light not turning off. Upon arrival I tested the unit and its airflow. The unit is heating as designed. With the vent on, the unit had poor airflow. With the vent off, it had good airflow. I then gained access to the interior of the unit. I found no excess lint build up inside, nor in the blower wheel housing. The customer was also concerned about a burn smell. I found no indication the burn smell came from the unit. The unit is working as designed. The unit also had no error codes. I advised the customer on my findings and showed him with the vent test kit how he had good airflow with the vent off, and bad with the vent on. I let him know this indicates an exterior wall airflow issue.

"Arrived on site and found low ice production, I attempted to cycle icemaker manually and motor is not moving. Removed Icemaker and Found funnel is partially blocked with ice,after replacement icemaker cycled immediately and filled with water, job complete."

Arrived onsite for dishwasher not draining and leaking p. Upon inspection I found water sitting in the tub. I engaged diagnostics and fund F6E4 stored in the unit. I found the customer has a R/O system under the sink which has a line routed to the drain line of the dishwasher. I let diagnostics run through and found the unit is working as designed with no leaks. I advised the customer that due to the installation of the R/O line it can cause back filling into the dishwasher. I also showed them the correct positioning of that line to ensure there is no more back filling and advised they would need to get a plumber out to re route the line. Job complete.

Arrived on site for refrneeding previously diagnosed sealed system. Upon arrival I found unit had lost all refrigerant when I tried recovery. After removing old and putting in new compressor up dryer and evap coil. During after pulling vacuum and holding with no leaks for 10 minutes I recharged unit with 5.25oz of refrigerant and found after 10 minute run time that unit had fluctuating psi lvls (5 to -10 L.side/150-200 H.side) tried recovered charge then re-vacuumed system for 20 minutes. Recharged system and got same results. Findings showed a floating restriction with system that cant be pulled out.

Arrived onsite for unit not allowing the filter to drop out when unlocking the latch to release the filter. Looked at the unit and let customer know that the filter is snug like that from the factory.

"Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. Per previous techs diagnosis, I removed and replaced the diode and transformer and tested. When the heating components came on, the unit fuse blew out. I replaced the fuse and retested the unit while plugged into a different outlet and again the fuse blew out. I removed and replaced the magnetron and retested and again the fuse blew out. Using my jumper wire, I jumped the filter board and the unit operated for approximately 5 seconds and tripped the breaker. I tested the unit by unplugging the transformer and the unit remained on, but didnt heat. I am ordering the main control, capacitor, magnetron, diode and another transformer and 6 fuses. Returning tech will need to replace the capacitor and fuse and test before replacing other parts. "Arrived on sight for a washing machine being non responsive. I checked voltage at the wall, control, and VDC to the fascia. All checked good. This indicates a faulty fascia. I installed the new fascia assembly and the unit became responsive. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error codes F9E9 which is not on tech sheet, F7E6 for motor circuit open, and F0E7 for load detected in self clean cycle. I cleared the error codes. I then ran a test cycle and found it ran through as designed. I gained access to the bottom of the unit and found no sign of gear case oil. I manually activated a high spin and agitate. Both ran as designed. The unit is now working as designed. No leaks observed at the time of service. "

Arrived onsite for washer not operating. Upon inspection I found F7E6 stored in the unit. I accessed the drive system and found the actuator had slipped out of the cam and would not allow the unit to spin. I corrected the shifter and tested the unit. The unit is working as designed at this time and no leaks were detected during time of service. In the event of a call back please send actuator. Job complete.

Arrived onsite and cleared lint out of the dryer to improve airflow and drying performance. Unit is now operating as designed. All checks good.

Arrived onsite to install previously diagnosed parts. I installed the drive system and tested the unit. The unit is working as designed at this time and no leaks were detected during time of service. Job complete.

"Arrived on site to inspect wall oven not turning on. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that theyve tried turning the unit off at the breaker and the unit failed to turn on, but the light and display still work. I pressed all buttons and the only one to respond was the cancel button. While researching the control panel, the unit beeped and I see the Bake and it came on. After approximately 1 minute, the unit shut off. I found that the main control and control panel have been discontinued. I advised the customer thats we could have the main control rebuilt, but with the control panel being discontinued, I could not guarantee that the rebuilt control would pair with the current control panel.

Arrived on site for a dishwasher with the top rack not closing. Upon further inspection I found the right side adjuster broken.Upon removing the adjusters I found the right side adjuster positioning clip missing. I installed the new adjuster and zip tied the spot where the positioning clip should be. The unit will still and is now working as designed. The customer approved of the repair.
