WASHER WHIRLPOOL WTW8040DW0 "On site for washer not cycling or filling with water according to the customer after they had recently noticed that the washer was leaking on its own. On further inspection of the unit I found the water valve was the initial cost of the issues one of us to crack and leak water into the housing as well as main control area behind the consul. I could not test the unit further diagnostics because no matter what function you try to select it would not function because you could not activate the lid lock with the main control having too much water damage from the leaking valve. I reached out to the office and got American home shield authorization to replace the main control as well as inlet valve housing assembly. After installing the needed parts I was able to reassemble and test each function on the washer and verify the overall the unit malfunctions 100% as designed with no leaks before during or after repair. Customer said refrigerator has had several repairs done by other companies, for both sealed system and also UI panel. Unit has had issues when house has had power losses before. I checked the evap and temps. Found FC at 3 degrees, and RC at 38. Evaporator had full frost pattern. Checked compressor amp draw and found .67 amps, which is normal. Checked wiring at control and found no damage to wiring. Could not find any issues present at time of service. There may be wiring damage inside the cabinet, or a failing component, but could not find any failures at time of service. Call complete."

REFRIGERATOR GE GSE25HGHBHBB Arrived on for refrigerator leaving ice all over food and not cooling properly in the freezer. Upon arrival customer also stated the water dispenser wasn’t working. When further inspection of the dispenser was done I found unit was functioning as designed. Was able to confirm with customer until current diagnosis unit had not been dispensing water. After inspection of the freezer the temps were at -6 and freezer was set to 0. Fresh food side was at 38 degrees at arrival when set temp was 37 degrees. I was able to confirm the the freezer items had frost and ice. The gasket was sealing fine but I found after disassembly that the evaporator fan as well as defrost heater were running at the same time when all other components within refrigerator were off. I did run an agitation cycle and was able to verify that when the unit filled and running the gearcase is grinding internally. Upon arrival I found that some of the parts that the prior tech had requested were never ordered by then disassemble the unit and verified the customers were able to defrost the majority of the unit so I can access the evaporator coil in the fresh food section where the defrost issue was currently happening at. Then ran test one through six and I was able to verify that most of the unit was functioning as designed but the thermos or that was recently installed on the evaporator was shorted out within the fresh fruit section I then replaced the main high-voltage board as well as defrost thermistor kit inside ffc. DISHWASHER FRIGIDAIRE PLD4375RFC0 Arrived on site for a dishwasher that doesn’t have water entering the unit. Inspected unit and work area. Placed unit in a normal cycle and confirmed the water valve was not letting water in. Tested voltage going to the water valve and found proper voltage. Removed water valve and found calcium buildup inside the water valve and inside the inlet water hose. I replaced the water valve and tried to flush the water hose out wit the water pressure from the wall. Found calcium buildup would not be flushed out or removed. I did inform the customer they would need to replace their water hose in order to receive proper water supply and not clog back up their new valve. Customer is going to get a plumber to uninstall and reinstall a new water valve as well as check the pipes at the wall for further calcium deposits. Unit is not working as designed. Call complete.

WASHER WHIRLPOOL WTW8040DW4 Arrived on site for washer that customer stated was still not advancing cycles as intended after numerous repairs have been made. Upon arrival I ran a diagnostics and once again I found the same error code that has been continuously popping up which is an F7E9 error indicating that the rotor is locking up and not allowing for a proper advancement of the cycles and is also causing major issues during agitation. At this point I replaced the main control after verifying that it was sending power but I wanted to make sure that with a fresh control it would not have the same issue after placing the main control again I was able to verify that the unit is still having the same issue with the air code and the rotor locking up. I then went through and checked continuity and ohmed out each individual wire within main harness from ACU to motor and found an occasional short occurring. Customer advised that the unit had tripped the breaker twice before completely losing all power. Unit had power going to it so I disassembled the front panel and found 117.4 V going to the control. Tested voltage going to the user interface and found no voltage. Tested resistance through the motor and found the motor out of range. Advise the customer that they would need to replace both air pump and motor and main control for repair. I did let the customer know that both of his parts were out of stock and could not dropship which meant it would could take a while to receive the parts.

I then used the test kit and was able to determine there was a clog within the wall of the house when vent hose was removed and reinstalled back onto dryer. I walked outside and located the exhuast and found a clog that was keeping exhuast flap from opening and causing air flow restrictions. Informed customer they need a dryer vent cleaning to complete repair. Call complete

Upon further inspection, I tested temps in the FC= -5 degrees and the RC= 29 degrees near the bottom of the cabinet and 49 degrees at the top shelf. I removed the bottom pantry drawer and found frost built up on the RC evap cover. Once I was able to get the cover off, I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested the FC evap fan and found it not coming on. I tested voltage at the connector to the fan and found the control sending the correct voltage to the fan (+12VDC). I inspected the fan and found rust coming from the motor windings. I tested defrost and found that the unit would not go into defrost mode. I am ordering the main control, RC evap fan motor, defrost element and defrost harness, along with CNOTE-AUTHORIZATION on all parts ordered. Found drain pan bowled and causing the right side of evaporator to frost up. Performed diagnostics mode and tested RC thermistor and found passed. Tested RC evaporator fan motor and found running. Found failure is due to drain pan being bowed. Will need to add shims to drain pan and thaw out bottom of drain pan. Removed ice buildup from bottom of drain pan and add shims to correct bow. Tested water flow in drain pan and found working. All tested good, no water leaks detected.
