Arrived onsite for unit giving a hissing sound during using the bake mode and that some burners flames may not be high enough to boil some water. Customer was using the right rear to boil some water. Tested the oven and heard hissed noise but assured the customer that the noise was normal during operation when the unit is heating up. Checked the flames and all flames checked good. Also had concerns over some gas smells when using the unit. Let them know that the unit will expel a little bit of gas during usage but is not enough to hurt anyone. Called tech line to report. Agreed that all is normal working on the unit. Did say that the burner that the customer was using is only a simmer burner as it uses only half the heat to heat anything and will take longer to heat. He advised that the issue would have to be with the tub and order the pump and motor assembly just in case if the customer was continuing to use the dishwasher. Arrived on site for a microwave that has a light out underneath the microwave. Inspected unit and work area. The customer also complained about his door making a squeaking sound as he open and close the door. I found that the installers had not installed the upper vent trim properly causing the door to rub against the trim. Readjusted the trim and check the lightbulb underneath the unit. Found a lightbulb filament broken. The customer agreed to the repair. Replaced bulb and test the unit. The unit began to work in operate as designed. Call complete.

Arrived onsite for unit leaving residue especially on dark clothing. Advised customer on how hard water and soap residue can cause lint and powder marks on dark clothing. Provided maintenance advice on cleaning washer to prevent staining. Ad used on using vinegar to maintain and break down soap residue. Advised on using less detergent and more water volume. All else checks good.

Arrived on site for a dishwasher that is not draining. Inspected unit and work area. Confirmed the customers complaint and heard the drain pump trying to run but not draining the water. I checked underneath it sink and found a new garbage disposal. I asked the customer if they had just recently installed this garbage disposal and he advised that they had. Removed the drain hose from the garbage disposal and found that the knockout punch had not been knocked through. Not through the knockout punch and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete.

Arrived on site to check refrigerator for bottom drawer freezing and not cooling properly. Found RC evaporator completely frosted up. RC thermister was reading 95 causing a defrost issue. Verified fan function and all other thermistors check good. Informed customer that the refrigerator will need to be unplugged and thawed out for 24 hours minimum prior to the return. Raised feet so that customer can pull unit out safely and advised that water may come out of the drain pan or the refrigerator section and to lay towels around the unit and in the bottom of the refrigerator section. Will need to replace RC evaporator cover and high voltage control to compete repairs.; schdld next appmnt for 3/16 WED AM

"Arrived on site for a washer that still not finishing cycles. Inspected unit and work area. Where in the unit for diagnostics and found an F8 E1 (low/no water detected during fill) error code again. I ran the unit through manual fill testing and found the water valves working properly. Check the drain hose installation on the unit and found the drain hose was sitting 3 feet into the stand pipe. Filled the tub up a third of the way and then attempted to drain. Found water was flowing above the drain hose as you could not hear a drain after 10 to 15 seconds. As soon as I start the drain, I found water siphoning back into the unit. Shorten the drain hose in the wall and test the unit again. The unit was working as designed. Ran through an auto test on the unit and the unit ran as designed. Advise the customer they may want to shorten their drain hose as the drain hose itself is way too long and is now sitting partially on the floor. Advise the customer they can try to run the unit as it is right now but if there are further problems to shorten that drain hose in order to allow the unit to drain properly. Call complete."

Arrived on site for dryer not turning off and dry times being longer. I found the dryer vent full of water indicating a restriction in the exterior vent. I found the main switch timer receiving power and not rotating. I quoted the customer for the timer I installed a new timer and tested the unit. I found it working as designed. I recommend the customer have vent wizard come out and clear the exterior vent. Customer paid in full with credit card. Job complete.

Arrived to inspect dryer not restarting after load complete. The CX described an issue where the dryer would not restart without letting it cool. I made an inspection of all thermistors and other thermal safety devices and removed a large amount of debris from the motor assy. I removed moderate lint from within the chassis and tested vent airflow. The venting of the home was highly restricted and I advised the CX to have it professionally cleaned. The electronic control had two clear cold solder joints and I re-soldered. Operational test with the vent off very good and the unit heated and cycled as designed.

Arrived on site for microwave vent light burning out frequently. I inspected the unit and work area. I found the bulb burnt out. I tested voltage to the bulb while the vent light was set to off. I found 120vac. I set the unit to half and high and found no voltage change. I tested voltage to the bulb directly from the control and found the same. "Arrived on site to inspect dryer not working. Upon further inspection, I attempted to test the unit and it failed. I removed the back panel and the terminal block cover and found the block not wired correctly. Corrected the wiring and retested and still no operation. Tested voltage at the block and got 0 volts. Customer cycled power at the breaker and I retested and unit is operating as designed. Recommended replacing the breaker. No lint observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect microwave error codes. Upon further inspection, I found the unit with power and no error codes displayed. Using my microwave tester, I tested the unit and after approximately 10 seconds (when heating components came on) the unit stopped and showed error code F1E5. Pulled the unit rom the cabinets and removed the top panel to inspect. I found the 4903 relay burnt on the main control. I removed and replaced the main control and retested and unit is operating as designed. Once I had the unit back in its spot, I retested and it continues to operate as designed. Job completed."
