WASHER GE GTW330ASK1WW "Arrived onsite and tested unit for repeat failure. Found unit spinning and draining as designed in drain and spin cycle. Before replacement of capacitor unit would stop spin cycle before reaching hi speed spin and repeat cycle. Tested load of sheets on bulky items. Everything seemed normal until the spin cycle when it drains completely and begins to spin, but never reaches a hi speed spin and after about 8 minutes, stops spinning and starts filling again. After utilizing in house tech support, we replaced the more shifter and the control. After replacing the control the unit performed a proper drain and spin. I advised the customer on the repair. All checks good."

DRYER WHIRLPOOL WED5620HW1 Arrived onsite for dryer that won’t start or power on. Upon inspection I found that after cycling power at the breaker the unit would still not turn on. I accessed the terminal block and tested voltage. I found only 117Vac from L1 to L2 and 3Vac from L1 to ground. When 240Vac is needed to operate the unit. I checked the outlet as well and found the same voltage present. I advised that they would need to have a licensed electrician come out to correct the voltage issue for us to properly diagnose the unit. Job complete.

MICROWAVE MAYTAG UMC5200BAS06 "Arrived on site to inspect microwave losing power after use. Upon further inspection, I tested the unit with a cup of water for 1 min. After the heating cycle, the unit gave three notification alarms then lost power. I pulled the unit from the wall and removed the cover and plugged it back in. At this point, it was not turning on. I found 125V at the outlet and getting 125V at the filter board and 125V being sent out from the filter board but the unit would not power up. I checked continuity at the power cord and it was good. I am ordering the main control, all the switches and the filter board. Also ordering CNOTE-AUTHORIZATION (AHS). RANGE WHIRLPOOL WEG745H0FS0 Arrived onsite for a range that gets to temp but will not stay at temp and the burner will not light again unless the cycle is cancelled and restarted. I tested the ignition system and checked the burner for correct flame. I found delayed ignition with the burner causing it to explode when it did light and choke the flame out. I made adjustments to the air shutter and changed the air fuel mixture and I adjusted the bake Ignitor. I tested the oven at 500 degrees and the unit is cycling the burner on and off and its working as designed. I did find the tip of the bake ignitor slightly worn and explained to the customer that this would probably need to be replaced in the future. Call complete.

REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL WSR57R18DM02 Arrived onsite for a refrigerator thats not cooling again. I found the evaporator completely packed in frost not allowing any air movement. I found the fan running properly. I checked the temp of the evaporator thermistor and found it at 33 degrees. I tested the resistance of the thermistor and found it at 8.5K ohms and in range. I ran service diagnostics and found the heater working and no failures. I defrosted the coil. I found the gaskets around the cover getting bad so I replaced them. I found no warm air leaks and the drain line clear. I suspect the control possibly failing again. Ordering W11282569 CONTRL-BOX & WPW10384183 THERMISTOR. RANGE WHIRLPOOL WGG745S0FS02 "Arrived on site to inspect range oven not heating. Upon further inspection, I tested the upper oven and found the ignitor not illuminating. I tested the ignitor and found it bad. Removed and replaced the ignitor and retested and the ignitor failed to come on. I found on the connection from the main harness, one of the pins had pulled out. Adjusted & secured the pin and retested and the unit and it is operating as designed. No gas leaks detected during service, job completed."

Removed and replaced the compressor, drier, access valve and inverter board and vacuumed the system. Added 5.5oz of 134a refrigerant and tested the unit. Unit is holding pressure and cooling. Also found the water inlet hose leaking at the valve. Recommended that the customer purchase a new hose. Water turned off to the unit at the wall due to the leaking hose. Job completed."

Found switch to this burner had shorted. Also found BACK right connector not connected fully to the switch. With this, the BACK right burner was not illuminating the cooking on light when this element was in the on position. REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL WRS315SDHZ05 Arrived on site for a refrigerator not dispensing ice or water according to the customer but unit would make ice just fine. Upon further inspection of the unit I was able to verify and find that the issue with the dispenser was with the main UI control on the front of the fridge there was a loose wire harness that was inside the Y causing the dispenser not to be activated with how it was wired into the Y itself I didn’t replace the wire make sure that the new wire connection was tighten up that it would not come loose and causes issue to come back. I then re-test the dispenser and verify that it now dispensers ice and water as designed. Call complete
