I found the auger coupler was stripped and the motor shaft would use spin in place. Arrived on site for cooktop smelling like gas. I spoke to the customer and they said they had the gas company out and they found the gas coming from either the regulator or supply line. I used my bubble solution and found the supply line bubbling at the reducer. For the regulator. I found no pipe dope on the threads. I spoke to the customer and they explained they have always had the smell of gas since the house was built. I undid the supply line and used pipe dope on the male threads. I rescued the supply line. I found no more leaks after applying the pipe dope. I turned the gas off and explained to the customer to leave it off for 24 hours to let the pipe dope harden. Job complete.

Arrived on site for a wall oven not reaching temp. Upon arrival the customer stated they used a hanging thermometer to check temps in both the upper and lower oven. They said when the preheat beeped the upper oven was 50?F low and the lower oven was perfect. They used the same thermometer for both. They also said the upper oven has been undercooking some items. I preheated the upper oven and found when it beeped for finish the temp was at 365?F. I continued to monitor the temps and found the average at 340?F. I calibrated the temp 10?F up. I then preheated the lower oven and found the average temps at 360?F. I calibrated the lower oven down 10?F. The oven is working as designed. Call complete.

Arrived on site for microwave not properly working. Upon arrival customer stated unit would sometimes shut off randomly and that it would restart after a few seconds of run time. Upon disassembling unit I found capacitor and diode to be working. Also found 2 out of 3 door switchs working well but the door monitor switch was not always making proper connection within its assembly. After customer approval I wa able to reassemble and test unit.confirmed unit could run a 1 minute water test and all high voltage parts function as intended. Call complete

"Arrived on site to follow up on dishwasher leaking. On arrival customer had told me that when the unit is off they still get water under the unit. I ran the unit and didnt see any active leaks. But did see water on the ground under the unit. When I inspected the inlet line I found the hose and fitting going to the valve was corroded and gunked up leading to a leak. Picture in SD. Shut off the water line under the sink and left kick plate off for customer to monitor. Customer will follow up if leak is there even with line off, but builder or customer needs to replace that supply line to resolve. Call complete."

Arrived on site for icemaker not making ice inside of refrigerator. Upon arrival I found that the icemaker was running a full harvest but I cannot confirm any drilling noise during diagnosis. When testing the water in the valve to see if he was receiving the proper 120 V to all the solenoids I found that the dispenser and icemaker portion of the valve are working but the water intake from the wall into the first solenoid was only receiving 70 out of 120 V.. I was able to trace the voltage issue back into the diodes within the harness the harness and diodes are starting to get weak inside the cavity the fridge leading to the water valve. I also found once I was able to get a small amount of water pressure up to the filter housing assembly that the filter housing is not sealing with the filter and causing it to pop out anytime it is activatedCall complete

on site for washing machine that was leaving water in the fabric softener portion of the one time use dispenser at the top left of the machine. Upon arrival I was able to confirm that the water was being left in the fabric softener portion of the dispenser at this point I then called whirlpool techline and also verified that there was a service pointer regarding the dispenser itself but per tech line The service pointer found does not apply to the situation necessarily after describing the symptoms and what parts already replaced, Andy sr#7730469035 From whirlpool techline advise at this time the unit is functioning as designed and that the water scene in the dispenser is normal after using the machine and recommended not replacing any parts. I then spoke with CS regarding my findings and what whirlpool recommended and I determined that it was best to go ahead and replace the dispenser anyways because the amount of water being left in the fabric softener was less than a centimeter away from siphoning out had it filled just a little bit more. And reassembled and tested the unit in a fill agitation and drain cycle verified that there was no water being left in the dispenser at that point I was able to confirm and show the customer that the dispenser was empty after the test customers please repairs call complete"

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not working. Upon further inspection, I found the UI non-responsive. Checked voltage at the outlet and junction box and got 124V at both. Removed the outer door panel and tested the fuse and found it open. Customer provided several parts that were sent directly to them from GE and the fuse was one of them. I also found that the vent was badly rusted, the inner door panel was rusting as well. I removed and replaced the fuse, main control, vent, and a UI solenoid and tested the unit. Unit began to operate as designed. Customer turned the unit on to test and found water would enter the unit and the heating element would come on but the motor failed to come on. I inspected the motor and found where previous repairs had been done to the harness connection at the motor and was not good. The motor and the harness will need to be replaced. Attempted to remove aluminum foil and found it sticking to the bottom oven liner and damage caused by the aluminum foil. I did calibrate the unit a little bit for the customer.

"Arrived on site for fridge not cooling. I inspected the unit and work area. I fund if dye at the fresh food evaporator. I gained access to the evaporator and found the housing and cover broken due to the refrigerant leak. I evacuated the system. I replaced the housing, evaporator, and cover. I pulled a vacuum on the system and found no leaks. I charged the system with 7 oz of refrigerant. I monitored the pressures and found them building properly. The fridge is cooling. Job complete."

No other errors displayed. This is the third time weve received a failed motor error on this customers dishwasher. Called WP tech line to have this documented. Tech line had me test voltage under a load and I got 120v. Tech line also requested we inspect the sump and motor for any areas of clogging or debris. Once sump and motor was removed I found excessive grease build up throughout the sump and motor. Took photo of findings for documentation and filing. Installed new sump and motor and ran diagnostics cycle. Dishwasher completed the full diagnostics cycle without error. No leaks detected. Job completed. SR-7730460830"

Arrived onsite for the microwave arching while in use. During testing found that that the wave guide is damaged and that the magnetron caused the arching and the damage to the wave guide.

"Arrived on site for knoking sound coming from the refrigerator lauder than normal. like a blade hitting on something and humming. No noise was apparent initially. Temps were normal and fridge is cooling as designed. Unplugged fridge and allowed to cool down for approximately five minutes. Removed back cover to inspect fan. Plugged fridge back in and fan was spinning as designed. No knocking or humming. Once compressor turned back on I began to hear a knock. Inspected FC fan and RC fan. Neither were hitting anything and spinning freely. Pulled up owners manual to research normal noises and found Popping - contraction/expansion of inside walls, especially during initial cooldown. This explains why the knocking started after I plugged the fridge back in. There was no frost build up on the evaporator cover or the cover inside the fridge causing the fans to make a knocking noises. Explained to customer this was not an abnormal noise, but just the fridge walls contracting and or expanding during defrost mode. Job completed."

"Arrived on site for washing.machine knocking around. The customer stated it occurs when the unit is agitating on different cycles. They stated it started occurring the last few months and is almost like a loud continuous shifting thumping sound. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found no stored error codes. I then ran a test cycle and it ran through as designed. I then manually activated each component. I could not replicate the noise they indicated. I gained access to the gear case area and found everything in good shape. I found the customer using delicate, white, and color for every cycle even jeans and towels. I advised the customer on proper loading. I couldnt find any mechanical failures. I called techline and spoke to Sterling and received SR# 7730464638. He explained the service pointer W11520474 and said it seems that this is the issue. He recommended running a load on drain and spin to replicate the issue and if it replicated then to replace the control and if it did not then to instruct the customer. I could not replicate the noise. I installed the control just to be safe. I then calibrated and tested the unit in diagnostics again. Unit is working as designed. Call complete."

Arrived on site to install previous diagnosed parts. I gained access to the UI and the control and replaced both with new. I powered the unit on and found the compressor coming on and the fans coming on as well. I found the UI responding how it should the unit is cooling. Job complete.

Arrived on site for NOT CLEANING - DOES NOT THINK THE ARMS ARE MOVING. Placed in diagnostics and got F4E3 error code. Cleared error code. Removed sump and motor and installed new sump and motor. Ran through full diagnostics cycle without issue. Dishwasher now running as designed. Job completed.

"Arrived on site and inspected washer and found washer is unplugged after reconnecting to power found drain pump is running. Cleared it by holding start button down. Entered diagnostics ad found saved error code for off balance load, ran all functions in manual diagnostics and automatic test cycle and ran a calibration cycle. Ensured pressure hose was clear and took 1 picture of Gearcase assembly. Washer is now operating properly, job complete"

Arrived on site for dryer not working properly in auto settings. Upon arrival customer informed that issue is unit not drying properly in any setting. Tested and inspected unit and found house venting needs to be cleaned and that dryer is operating as designed. Instructed customer on this and on use and care and practice for best performance. No repairs are needed at this time.
