The customer had a video and I was able to compare noises. I found the start device cover was vibrating and rattling against the compressor intermittently. I could not position the cover so that it would not rattle so I removed it and added some sealer pads. The unit is no longer making a rattling noise at this time but I asked the customer to monitor the unit to rule out the start device cover. Job complete.

Water inlet valve and draining features worked. Customer stated they were noticing a loud noise during agitation and spin but that the unit seemed like it was sending power to motor to rotate properly. In diagnostics I also found an F7e9, F7E6, & f2E1. I found not shorts or visual breaks in harness. I did verify the main control was sending 120 vaults to motor. The stator motor ohm reading were also not as stable as they should have been. Also found that if a successful connection was sent to motor the gear case was also getting stuck. Upon arrival I disassembled the UA consul and during diagnostics I was able to verify that the water inlet valve was receiving 120 V to it as design with no drops in power whatsoever. Also confirm that the customer still had no hot water connected to the unit as previously noted down by prior tech. I also verified that the washer was cycling the cold water on and off as intended during normal use but found that the washer without the air code because even using a cold temperature wash the washer requires a tiny amount of hot water to be mixed in and entered with cold. How many time this feature is not used to the hot water is when the tap cold option is selected and I instructed customer that in order to get the best use out of it since they have no hot water would be to use a topcoat on the customer also stated that prior to arrival that was the cycle she had selected and tha

I put unit into a factory testy cycle and found that the unit went through it as designed. I ran a normal cycle with a small load and found the unit would get through a sensing cycle, skip the fill, and then start a wash cycle with no water in the unit. I checked the pressure tube and found no holes, kinks, or obstructions. I called techline and spoke with TJ and received SR #7729987726 and he advised replacing the control. I replaced the control and I calibrated the unit. I ran another small cycle and the unit now filled. Unit now working as designed. Call complete."

Units set temps were (freezer/ffood) -5/32, actual temps were +9/34 degrees and unit was full empty but running on arrival. I verified no hardware failures within compressor compartment area behind I noticed the freezer fan would run very so often during normal mode but he cooling mode continuously tried returning back to ffc. I inspected interior of fresh food area and foun$ a defrost issue had been occurring. With how long customer stated unit wasnt cooling properly its possible this was the initial cause of problems reoccurring within unit overall. Was able to reschedule customer. REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL ED5LVAXWQ00 "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator temps. Upon further inspection, I tested temps in the bottom FC=-17 and top FC=43; RC=48. Removed the FC evap cover and found the evap fan motor not working. I could hear it humming and I forced the blades to turn and it came on. I pulled the unit out and found the compressor and condenser fan not operating. Unplugged the unit and plugged back in and when the start device kicked on the compressor showed 17amps and then the start device clicked again and compressor turned off. Tested windings to compressor and its within range/good. Removed and replaced the start device and retested and unit is operating as designed. Found at the control test the fresh foods control was not lit up like the freezer side. Removed the control panel and found the optic tube had come unattached. Reattached the tube and tested and it is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed"
