REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL WRF736SDAM10 Arrived onsite for refrigerator freezing water on the FC floor and causing door to freeze shut. Upon inspection I found tue defrost heater working as designed. I found the drain tube in the back of the unit was separating from the chassis and was also clogged. I didnt have a new drain tube with me to clear out and reinstall the tube as well as clear the ice and verify water flow through the drain. The customer agreed so I steamed out all the ice in the evap tray and un clogged the tube. I added some of my van stock adhesive(W10841140) to ensure a better seal. I verified water flow and re assembled the unit. The unit is seemingly working as designed at this time Job complete.

The diffuser had ice buildup around vent. Removed diffuser cover and tested thermistors. Thermistor was out of range reading 4.72 k ohms at 20 degrees. Replaced diffuser, control UI and main control. After part replacement allowed fridge to come to temperature. During test, cooling seemed to cut off at 37 degrees. Unit seems to be cooling properly. Job complete"

REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL ED5LVAXWQ00 "Arrived on site to follow up on refrigerator not cooling properly. Customer informed me that the refrigerator has stuff freezing, and freezer temp spiked. On arrival the FC was at 20 degrees. I checked the thermostat and found the cable for the thermostat way out of position and stuffed behind the diffuser. Pulled on slack and coiled it around the diffuser and set it properly. I checked on the slider for freezer temp and found the slider lets more air in when its set to colder then the warmer setting, almost like its backwards. Advised customer to give it time to cool down and fine tune via slider. Unit is cooling, and evap has a full frost pattern. If issue persists we can replace the diffuser. Customer also showed me that they are having issues with filter, and it will stop dispenser flow. Advised to try a different filter, and if issue persists we need to replace filter housing. Call complete."

REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL WRV986FDEM01 "Arrived on site to diagnose refrigerator making constant noise. On arrival found noise coming from FC. Opened FC door and heard fan buzzing. Checked rear cover and found a ton of frost all over the sides and top. Melted down ice and frost to remove evap cover. Found huge ice ball around the top right corner, and frost all around the sides of the evap and cavity. Looks like door was open and frost got in and froze constantly. Found the foam pads that block the top sides of the evaporator frame air channels had shifted and werent keeping that return air out, also causing problems. Tested thermistors and defrost and heater is coming on in forced defrost. This issue is due to air leaks from the air channels and open door. All is now working as designed. Call complete."

Replaced 3 way valve and UI. Put gauges on and ran test 4. Found that the when the freezer section was activated found that it was over charged cause the suction line to freeze up and un freeze. Took some Freon out and allowed pressures to equalize. Pressures look good and suction line is not freezing up anymore. Pressures look good for the freezer section and refrigerator section. Freezer started to cool down. Complete

Upon arrival customer stated main issue was unit did not drain properly at end of cycle and had left over water. I put unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error codes F4E3 for wash motor not running, and F7E1 for no heat. During the test cycle the unit filled and drained properly, but the pump did not hum or start at all. I could not hear diverter functioning either. I found the heater however turn on and draw correct amperage. I reset power at breaker and put unit into diagnostics again. I found the same issue occurring. Will need to replace pump and motor.
