Arrived on site for a dryer that is not heating. Inspected unit and work area. Confirmed the customers complaint and found that the unit would not heat in a high heat cycle. Checked voltage at the terminal block and confirmed proper voltage. Checked voltage at the heater and only found 120 V. Disconnected the brown wire on the unit separating the line one voltage from the heater and found proper voltage coming from the line to side but only 25 V coming from the line one side. Checked all heating components and found all showing they were good. Traced voltage back to the heater bypass and found only 25 V going to the thermal cut off. I called whirlpool commercial laundry Techline and spoke to Ryan (no SR#). He advised that there have been several units coming from the factory where the screw that engages the heater bypass switch are screwed into tight causing the switch to become engaged and bypass the heater. He advised that because I was getting 27 V from that switch that it must be only partially closed. He advised to adjust the screw and check again. I pulled out the screw and found the heater working properly and heating as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for an ice machine that is not cutting ice. Inspected unit and work area. The customer stated that since the return last week, the unit still has not made ice and has been melting as a sheet of ice on top of her red cutter. Did confirm that the grid cutter Ive been broken. She advised that she thought that the prior technician was supposed to have replace that but did not. Went ahead and replace the red cutter and ran the unit through an ice making cycle. Found the unit may the force lava Weiss and the great cutter was working as designed cutting her cubes into square cubes. Advise the customer to give the unit 2 to 3 days to make a full been advice. I found all functions of the defrost system wer present and the element tested at 23.8 ohms, expected for the units current temperature and line VAC was present, proofed via thermography. "Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. Per previous techs diagnosis, I removed and replaced the vent, gasket and deflector. When I removed the outer door panel, I found the dry water streaks flowing from the vent down the inside of the door. When I removed the vent, I found where the gasket had been laid over during installation and not sealing properly (photo). Tested unit and it is operating as designed. I made recommendations for use and care, as well as, detergent and rinse aid use. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect washer being off balance. Upon further inspection, the customer showed me some damage that was caused when the washer went out of balance. I took photos of the damage to the wall to the left of the unit, the wall behind the unit and the wall in the bathroom located behind where the unit is housed. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F0E5-off balanced load. I cleared the code and continued with testing and the unit became off balance during spin. I pushed down on the tub/basket assembly and when it came back up, it bounced around. I inspected the suspension rods and found the back left rod slightly bent. I tilted the unit back and inspected the gearcase and other components and found the actuator to be one of the new designed parts that have been slipping out of the came loop and causing the unit to not actuate/shift properly from agitate to spin. I removed and replaced the suspension rods and actuator and calibrated the unit. Retested and unit is balanced and operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived to inspect no cool. I found the unit would engage the compressor and it drew 14 amps that descended to 12.5 until start device deactivation. I tested the compressor windings and they were 5.2 and 3.2 ohms. Start to run was a little higher than expected at 11.8 and I used a different start device to swing test. The unit worked as designed with the tester start device and drew 1.2 amps (including condenser fan within circuit) with the cover off and descended to 1.1 amps with the cover held in place for several minutes

Arrived to inspect unit not responding to commands. I found the entire control would not respond to the outer buttons when touched. I removed the panel and reseated the ribbon cables and tested. The unit returned to normal operation. Operational test good.

The gear case lower seal had ruptured and there were signs of both grease and oil escaping and spreading throughout the drivetrain. Further inspection revealed the spin basket was badly out-of-round and it would require replacement as well. Arrived onsite for refrigerator not dispensing water. Upon inspection I found that the cx had a off brand filter installed in uni. I removed filter and tested unit using a gallon container and found that it filled up twice. I reinstalled filter and tested again and found that the unit stoped dispensing again. I recommend that the cx replace the filter. Cx elected to run without filter because he has a water softener on the house. Job complete
