"Arrived on site to inspect wall oven turning on by itself. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the unit has been coming on without them turning the unit on. While testing the unit in diagnostics, I found error code F6E4. Tech sheet recommends replacing the main control. While the unit was never turned on to bake or broil, the unit turned itself on while I was in diagnostics. I cycled the power and removed and replaced the main control and cycled power again. I placed unit in diagnostics and tested the components and the unit is operating as designed. I recommended that the customer connect the unit to WiFi. I advised that they would have to download the Whirlpool app on their phone and follow the steps into connecting. I provided the Whirlpool WiFi connect team number and advised to contact them if they needed further assistance in connecting to WiFi. Job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect oven getting too hot. Upon further inspection, customer advised that the unit takes a long time to turn off. I advised the customer that once theyre done cooking and turn the unit off, the cooling fan will stay on for at least 45 mins depending on the temp they cooked at and how long they were cooking. I tested the unit on Bake at 350 degrees and once it reached preheat, I turned the unit off. While testing, I serviced another unit and once done with that, I found the oven cooling fan still on after approximately 40 mins after preheat. Customer advised that the floor below the unit gets hot as well. I advised that its due to the heat coming out from the vent at the bottom of the unit and blowing downward to the floor and theres no repair for that issue. There are no repairs needed at this time for this unit. Job completed."

Upon further inspection, the customer advised that they had cycled the power to the unit and once the unit was off, they walked away and the unit came back on without them turning it on and was showing error code F07. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error codes F03, F07, F11, & F24. I cleared the codes and continued with testing. The unit filled with water and in step 03 of diagnostics, the drain pump came on and stayed on for a long period of time. Eventually, the drain pump turned off and the unit began to show error codes F03 & F07 again. I contacted techline and spoke to Austin and questioned what the F11 error code was due to it not being listed in the tech sheet. Andrew advised that it was a control failure and recommended replacing the main control. Provided file #7729901315. I am ordering the main control, UI console, CNOTE-2MAN JOB, & CNOTE-2HR JOB. I found a small gap in the water tube on the roof of the unit. The customer agreed so I removed and cleared out the ice maker. I also ensured a better seal on the water tube by adding some silicone to the gaps.
