Arrived on site for a washing machine that is making abnormal sounds during agitation. Inspected unit and work area. Confirmed the customers complaint and attempted to check underneath the unit. Found that the top portion of the cam had somewhat bent a little bit and was getting caught inside of the slider and not raising it to agitate properly. Replaced the cam and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for refrigerator thats not cooling the freezer section properly. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that he was told by our office to unplug it for 30 minutes and since then, the unit has begun cooling. He advised that he has dropped 15? already from 43?F to 27?F. Check the evaporator and found a decent frost pattern on the evaporator with no evidence of any defrost issues. He did state that he was wondering if potentially the door leveling was part of the problem as the refrigerator door was not completely sealed up on arrival. The seal was not proper due to the angle of the door leaning away from the hinge. I adjusted the door hinges up at the middle hinge and top hinge to allow the door to close properly. Because the unit is cooling and operating at this moment, so I advised him to keep an eye on the machine for the next two days to see if its good temperature continues to drop. If it does not, the unit will most likely need a sealed system repair. Customer will call back every other issues persist. Call complete."

Found damage done to the cabinet due to what looks like a crowbar from the customer attempting to pry up on the top to remove clothes. Took photos and attempted to run the unit through diagnostics. Found an F5 E3 (lid will not lock or unlock) error code. I attempted to lock the lid in manual diagnostics and found the lid would not lock. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Andy SR# 7733677511. He advised that he noted the account but that we would need a contract trade care team for warranty coverage due to customer damage to the unit. I called whirlpool trade care team and spoke to Diane SR# 7733630058. She advised that based on the and Customer damage, that will have voided their warranty and to no make any repairs. Arrived on site for a dryer that is not heating. Inspected unit and work area. Confirmed the customers complaint and tested the unit. Found the igniter would come on but the gas valve would not open to allow the gas valve through. Tested all heating components and found continuity and proper resistance. I did find the secondary valve coil connector was not connected properly onto this gas valve. Reconnected the wiring and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Arrived onsite for Noise Complaints . Upon arrival unit was operating with no unusual sounds. Rand diagnostics to force each component to energize to try and duplicate the noise. Could not duplicate the sound. Called techline for assistance. Tech determined that all sounds that the unit is making are normal operating sounds. Customer stated that he has not noticed the loud noise in several days and he will monitor unit. Tech gave SR# 7733680035. Job complete

Arrived On site for washer not completing cycle. Upon arrival found standing water in unit. Ran test and confirm laundering error code9/1. Unit would not drain. Disassembled unit and access drain pump and filter and unit was clogged. Cleared unit and tested. Unit is now functioning properly.

Arrived on site for dryer leaking when in use. Upon arrival inspected unit. Found the unit had not been installed properly. There is no drain line connected to the unit so the water is leaking on the floor. Inspected area and found installation area not plumbed for current unit. There is not a drain pipe near the installation area. Customer would need to possibly route electrical or plumbing to allow for proper installation or replace unit with front drawer drain drawer. Only charged service visit.

Arrived onsite for heating irregularities and found the valve coils overheating and dysfunctional. 08 for valve assembly and pulley and belt. Performed repair. All checks good. Unit is now operating as designed.

Arrived on site for dishwasher leaking from underneath. Upon arrival tested unit. While testing found unit would immediately start leaking from underneath sump and motor. Recommend replacing sump and motor assembly. Replaced sump and motor. Tested unit and unit is no longer leaking. Unit is functioning properly. Customer requested to leave unit out so that a fan can be placed do dry out area due to leaking. Instructed customer how to re install unit. Job complete

Arrived onsite and found unit with some moisture on the outside of the freezer seal. Heat treated gasket and turned mullion heater to 100% operating time. Unit is now operating as designed. Gasket are sealing well. All checks good.

Arrived onsite and called tech line again for ongoing moisture build up on the horizontal freezer mullion. Spoke with Andy at techline who instructed on a test to determine if the mullion portion of the cabinet was transferring heat properly. Found mullion warped and not transferring heat well in the portion of the mullion where the warp and poor heat transfer are. Documented with Aiden at techline on second phone call after verifying problem.

"Arrived on site for a gas dryer letting off a gas smell. Upon arrival the customer stated they had a out and he found the gas leak coming from the dryer. They also stated the unit was on propane. I used my gas leak detector on the gas line and cold not detect any leak. However, I could smell a faint amount of propane. Once I gained access to the valve assembly I found a much stronger smell of propane, but my leak detector still could not pick up anything. I called techline and spoke to Bruce and received SR# 7733680613. I informed him of my findings, and Bruce recommended replacing the valve assembly. He transferred me to safety and I spoke to David and received the safety file SR# 7733622744. I the customer on the valve assembly and LP conversion kit at 94.92 and 05.75 for service/. I informed the customer that we could not do the conversion, and they would have to get a certified for the LP conversion kit installation. The customer any repair. I left the unit unplugged and the gas at the wall turned off. No fee due to being covered by WP. Call complete."

Then found that during five icemaker harvest test the icemaker is getting the proper voltage but the motor is stuck and not rotating around. Is able to replace the icemaker reassembled and tested unit and found a good harvest and fill as desired with no leaks and inform customer to give unit 24 to 48 hours to fill the bucket back up with ice. I removed all debris and set unit in diagnostics found error codes stored F9E1 F5E2 F5E3 F2E1 I tested and unit is now draining as designed. No water leaks observed during service. Job completed"

"Arrived on site to inspect moisture on countertop after dishwasher use. Upon further inspection, the customer provided a photo of the moisture on the countertop (photo) and they noticed it after the previous repair. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes. Continued with testing and the unit operated as designed. I pulled the unit out from the cabinets and found the insulation had wet spots at approximately where the moisture was built up on the countertop, but the tub itself was dry. I retested the unit and it continued to operate as designed. I found the customers water heater is set at 150 degrees and recommended turning it down as the customer advised that the water gets too hot. I removed the outer door panel and tested again and found the vent is not functioning properly. I removed and replaced the vent and when I removed the vent, I found one of the connectors very warm. Retested and vent is now opening as designed. I recommended the customer monitor the unit and should the moisture come back to call it in for service. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer knob not working. Upon further inspection, I found the timer knob broken and the timer not working. I tested the timer and it failed. I found the plastic on the knob broken as well. I removed and replaced the timer and knob and tested. Unit is operating as designed. No lint observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker leaking water. Upon further inspection, I found the ice maker turned off. Turned the IM on and it began to harvest. When the water began to fill the tray, it failed to turn off. I released the door switch and the water stopped. Removed the ice maker and unplugged it and pressed the door switch and the water continued to flow. I released the door switch and the water stopped. Cycled power to the unit and re-installed the ice maker to retested to test voltage to the valve and the ice maker would not test.

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator no cool. Upon further inspection, I found the not cooling indicator on the UI lit up. I pressed the lock and measured fill keys and turned the cooling back on and the unit began to cool as designed. Customer advised that someone may have leaned up against the unit and caused it to turn off. I provided a disclaimer written by management to my customer and they read it. I inspected the deli control and harness and both were good. I found the UI missing digits.

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator no cool. Upon further inspection, I found the UI display showing PO. I confirmed it and when I went to place the unit in diagnostics the UI went blank and the unit shut down. Moments after, the unit came back on and I was able to get it into diagnostics. I tested the fans and they are functioning. I tested the unit in test #4 and when the unit began to cool the RC section, I could smell a strong odor of refrigerant. I opened the RC doors and the odor was even stronger and the unit was not cooling. Inspected the evap motor harness and tested the thermistor and found it bad.

Waterlines are hooked up properly, washer did not tripped breaker during diagnostic cycles. Could not duplicate customers experience. "Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. Due to the sealed system failure, I removed and replaced the compressor, access valve & UV dye drier and vacuumed the system. Pressures held at -30/0. I installed 6oz of R134a refrigerant and tested the unit in diagnostics test #4. Monitored pressures and they were good at 4/155. Inspected the evaporators and there was a frost pattern. Took unit out of diagnostics and monitored the unit and found the RC section beginning to cool as designed. Customer had moved the unit to the garage and was not home when I completed the repair. I sent a text to the customer and left the unit plugged in. No water connections to the unit and no leaks, job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator making squeaking noises. Upon further inspection, the customer demonstrated by opening the right RC door and I could hear it make the squeak noise. I disassembled the right upper hinge and placed grease on the hinge parts and reassembled. The door continued to make the noise but not as bad. The unit has door trim pieces that are weighing down on the door causing the hinge to badly rub and wear out. I am ordering 2 hinges, 2 spacers, 2 door stop bushings and the left and right side extensions in order to replace both upper hinge parts and CNOTE-2 HOUR JOB. Both doors are making the squeaking noise. "Arrived to inspect tearing clothes issue. I found the unit had an F0E3 stored in memory and I cleared it and tested. The unit had an audible grumble from the bearings and I found oil within the rotor hub, denoting early seal failure. The gear case and rotor replacement will be required due to a dent in the inner hub. I discussed other issues the CX was having and determined it is due to over-detergenting, creating foam within the unit and garment floating, which can contribute to failed spin (water extraction,) garment tearing and gear case seal failure. I advised the CX on type and amounts of detergent and other products, leaving a line on their current detergent and also advised to not use premeasured packs, aka pods. Office to order parts and contact the CX to arrange return service. I advised CX that they may attempt to use the unit in current condition, but results may not be satisfactory. Found cause of build up was due to failing slider rails preventing gasket from sealing shut properly. Arrived on site to diagnose a dryer that is not turning on. Found thermal fuse open preventing unit from operating. T-stat kit will need to be replaced to complete repairs. Office to set return appointment.

"Arrived to inspect leak. I found the diverter valve seal had failed and the unit will require a replacement sump assy. The harness had light corrosion, but was intact. Two upper rack wheels have failed. I removed and replaced the sump assembly and tested. The pump resumed operation and the leak was corrected, however, the leak had damaged the control by shorting out at the diverter valve assembly and could not have been foreseen prior to replacing the pump. Office to authorize and order the control and set return service. CX will refrain fro using the unit until we return to instal the control. No leaks observed fro the water supply and after sump assembly replaced. "Arrived to inspect washing issue and there was no model S/N tag. I found there was an F7E9 stored in memory and I inspected the motor. I found the shifter arm broken and requiring replacement. I removed and replaced the shifter and cleaned debris from the spline on the driveshaft. I recalibrated the unit and then tested through manual and automatic test modes. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service; ordrng 1 W10913953 (Actuator)"

"Arrive on site for microwave, inspected unit and work area. Tested vent fan and was stuck. Removed air duck to make sure nothing was stuck and it was clear from any debris. Vent fan motor is just getting weak. Office to reschedule when vent fan is available."

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator not cooling properly and making an abnormal noise. Upon arrival the customer stated that he heard a buzzing sound in the top of the RC for a while and it eventually stopped. He also found several LED modules out. Upon arrival I also found the customer had removed the fascia assembly from the IB. I checked temps and found the FC at 15?F and the RC at 45?F. I then put the unit into diagnostics mode and found the FC fan running, but could not hear the RC fan running. Upon further inspection I found both the FC and RC evaps covered in ice. I gained access to the control and ohmd out all thermistors. The RC thermistor read 8.02k, the FC read 15.37k, and the RC evap read 19.4K. Considering the ice build up these are all roughly accurate. I then put the unit back into diagnostics and ran test 3 on step 4 and checked voltage to the RC fan motor. I found a good 14VDC. This indicates a bad main control not reading the thermistors correctly and RC fan motor. I then tested the LEDs and found the FC LED bad. In order to repair the unit it will need a new FC LED, control, and fan harness. Arrived onsite for unit not dispensing ice and water sputtering. Upon arrival tested unit. Could not duplicate water dispensing issues. Customer tried again and noise came back. Identified some chatter coming from valve. Replaced valve. Tested and noise was less. Notified customer that he may want to have water pressure checked. High water pressure can have an effect on water dispensing. Also found that the dispenser would not engage due to the door switch not being depressed fully. Holding the switch down manually did allow motor to energize as designed Called tech line for assistance. Provided SR#7733668663. Recommend replacing switch.
