Upon arrival and further inspection of the icemaker found that the motorhead internally shorted out causing the icemaker call for water while the icemaker was in the downward position where the teeth inside the ice causing the motor to be damage further from not being able to finish rotating. After getting customer approval I installed a new icemaker and reassembled and tested the unit to verify that everything is not functioning as designed the icemaker showed no signs of leaking before during or after repair call complete

I ran a diagnostics auto test and found all functions passed with no wobbling. The customer advised that they had a large blanket in with the unit on bulky items when it wobbled. I explained that with the size of the blanket and on bulky. The agitator most likely moved the blanket to one side causing it to bang and wobble. Upon running diagnostics there were no error codes indicating any hardware or software failures but during the low spin and high spin test cycles I found that the inner tub seem to wobble slightly every two seconds causing the entire unit to vibrate. After disassembling the inner tub and skirt ring as well as wash plate and verifying that the motor and belt were tightened as designed, I then verified that with the inner tub out the sound was coming from the inside of the gear case. Assembly with in was knocking around, I disassembled belt and verified motor wasn’t the cause and hat splutch assembly was still intact and none of the teeth were broken. Same results. I removed the orifice holder and found a large amount of debris inside the holder and cleaned it out. Retested and still go gas. REFRIGERATOR KITCHENAID KRMF706EBS01 Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that the lights will not work and the whole thing shuts down if the ice maker is on. Mr stated the previous tech left the ice maker turned off but the unit is not cooling and the lights are not on. I tested voltages at the controls and had correct voltage everywhere. I did a power reset and the lights started working but the compressor would try to start but wouldnt and the 3 way valve kept returning to the home position. I tested the 3 way valve and resistance readings were good. I inspected the deli UI and harness and it tested good. I tested the resistance on the fill tube and facia heater from the control and they checked good. I disconnected the loads from the aurora control and tested the unit. The compressor came on and the unit started working as designed. All the LED lights were working properly before disconnecting the loads. The Aurora control will need to be replaced. VENTHOOD KITCHENAID KVUB600DSS4 Arrived on site for Vent Hood Heat Sensor not working. All normal functions of the vent hood were working as designed from the control. I turned on all burners and customer supplied a pot of water to boil. Using my thermocouple I attached the tip to the vent hood. The temp would not rise above 154 so I used my heat gun to increase the heat around the UI. A short time later the heat sensor detected 161 degrees and the auto fan turned on. AUTO was displayed on the UI confirming the vent hood heat sensor was working as designed. Job completed.

Tested resistance through the valve at the control and found 223 ohms. Tested power going to the valve and found no voltage going to the valve. I called tech line and spoke to Rich SR# 7729760479. He advised that he believe there should be a communication issue with the UI and the main control and since we are already replaced the main control to replace the user interface.
