Arrived on site for Not Making Ice - Side by Side Refrigerator. Placed in diagnostics and ice maker went through harvest and passed. Went through water fill test and mold filled with water as designed. Tested thermistor and it was not in range. Also found water tube that fills ice mold frozen over. Used steamer to remove ice build up in water tube. Removed ice maker and installed new ice maker. Ran harvest with new ice maker. Passed harvest test. Inspected harness at bottom right corner of freezer door. Harness was not damaged. Tested ice maker heater and it was within range. Informed customer to dump ice between now and tomorrow morning because its brand new from factory. No leaks detected. Job completed.

I removed the kick panel to inspect under the unit while running a wash cycle to see if there were any leaks coming from anywhere under the unit. Found none. "Arrived on site to inspect range oven temps. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that they recently had their 1 yr inspection and they were told the oven temp only reached 296 degrees on a setting of 350. Using my multimeter, I placed my thermal lead in the middle of the center rack and tested temps on Bake at 350 degrees. My preheat temp was 408 degrees. The next three readings were 332, 396, 334 for an average of 354 degrees. I advised the customer that the unit is operating as designed. Also found the middle cooktop burner not functioning properly. I found there was grease or cleaning solution in between the burner cap and burner head. Cleaned both and retested and unit is operating as designed. No gas leaks detected during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to diagnose dishwasher that was not dispensing soap. On arrival put unit in diagnostic mode and found no error codes present. Ran unit through test cycle and found dispenser door is opening properly and finishing. Removed door panel and found wiring and control in good shape. Seems door for dispenser may be getting caught on the pods themself. Advised customer to run a cycle with the dispenser door closed and toss a pod in the tub to make sure its not sticking the door. Also advised that if they dont run the hot water first, the unit can go into a thermal stall if water doesnt get hot enough. Customer will follow up if cycles dont finish with our directives applied. Call complete."

"Arrived on site for a range with flame irregularities. Upon arrival the customer stated the real issue was the front left burner was not igniting. I tested the burner and found the spark module working as designed. I gained access to the orifice and found it clogged. I cleaned out the orifice and then tested the unit. Arrived on site for a refrigerator that?s making a buzzing sound. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit was making the sound after they pulled out the unit and pushed it back when installers brought it in. Was able to replicate the sound when moving around the cabinet. Checked the compressor area and found several items potentially causing the rattling issue by rattling against the back cover. Used sound pads did all the sound on several of these areas and moved around some of the wiring harness to keep the rattling to a minimum. Tested the unit and could not replicate the issue again. Advised the customer to call back if any further issues persisted. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for refrigerator that?s not making ice. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit is making ice but that the issue has been with the unit not dispensing ice. She advised that when she has ice inside the container, the arm does not turn even though it sounds like something is moving. Tested the icemaker dispenser by holding the arm and running the dispenser motor. Found the ice container popping off the dispenser shaft causing the issue. Remove the ice container and found the bottom nut of the container wobbling a half inch in each direction. Attempted to tighten the screws and fitting but could not make any difference with the wobble. ; ordrng 1 W10911314 (ice-cont D2C)"

Arrived on site to diagnose dryer that was not running when power was hit. Tried to run the unit and had no power. Checked voltage at the terminal block and found no voltage present. Found breaker for unit tripped. Reset breaker and tested unit. Found excellent airflow and heat coming. Customer says the unit doesnt seem to dryer well on most cycles. Replaced operating thermostat due to possibly breaking down under heat and load. Ran unit and verified everything working as designed. Checked wiring and found no failed wiring or any wiring grounding out. Advised customer that the energy mode will leave clothes damp. If breaker pops again advised to contact electrician. Arrived on site for a washing machine that?s not agitating. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advised that the unit seems to be trying to educate but it doesn?t really agitate very well. Check the unit and confirm the customers complaint. It appeared that the washplate was extremely loose. I was able to slide the wash play up and down due to rust. Remove the wash plate and cleaned off the gear case driveshaft. Play new agitator on to the gear case and tested the unit. The unit begin to work as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for and oven that won?t heat out of either oven. Inspected unit and work area. Ran through diagnostics and found no stored error codes. Tested all bacon boiling functions for both upper and lower ovens. Could not get the unit to heat at all. Removed the unit from the cabinet and remove the top panel. Checked voltage from P2-1 to P2-3 and found 107 V. I checked voltage from P6-1 to P6-3 and found 121 V on my L1 side. I ch3cked voltage from P6-1 to P2-1 and found 77V when the unit was idle and then dropped to 0 V when the lower oven was called to bake. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Andrew SR# 7731726034. He advised that based on my checks, the issue would have to be with a voltage supply and that the customer would need to contact an electrician to fix their electrical supply issue. Call complete."
