There is no vent exit behind the wall and the back pressure from the blower motor is forcing the unit to vent out the front causing dust to go everywhere. I placed unit in diagnostics and checked error codes and found the F9E1-drain pump & FAE2-wax motor. Cleared the codes and continued with testing. The unit operated as designed until it got to the end when the drain pump, element and vent come on and it shut off. I can hit the cancel button and the drain pump comes on and operates as designed. I removed the outer door panel and unplugged the vent and retested and the unit operated as designed. I contacted techline and spoke to Brian and advised of the complaint and my findings. Brian advised to replace the vent due to the wax motor showing an error and the unit shutting down when the vent is to come on. Provided file #7729729992. Checked with a mirror and it looks like its coming off the lip of the tub, water getting past the lower door gasket. Wiped down the gasket and found chunks of food that were preventing a good seal. Advised customer to follow up if leaks comes back, bit it seems to have stopped after wipe down. We would need that lower door gasket / possibly panel if the leak comes back. I plugged the unit back in and found the compressor building pressure. I installed a UV dryer access valve and a new evaporator. I pulled a vacuum on the system and found it holding. I out a measured charge into the system and found pressure building properly and a good frost pattern forming on the evaporator. I reassembled the unit. After 10 I found the unit cooling down. Checked thermistor ohms and thermistor was in range. Tested harness connector and received the same reading. Checked reading at control board in rear of unit and did not get a reading. Tech-line determined a broken wire in the cabinet. SR#7729729492. When I got off of the line with tech line I double checked the harness connector. The pins for the thermistor were not straight and not making contact with the other end of the connector. Made adjustment to pin, re tested and recorded accurate readings. At control no longer open and good reading at main control. Unit should resume normal function. Called tech line back to advise them of finding and adjustment. Advised customer to monitor and give 24 hrs for temperature to balance."

WASHER MAYTAG MHW5630HC0 "Arrived on site to follow up on leaking no drain washer. Ran unit and found water remaining during diag cycle. Checked for leaks and found a small soap trail on the front by the dispenser likely just due to some overspray. When unit goes into spin you can hear a very noticeable screeching and squeaking coming from the drum that matches drum speed. I blew out the pressure line and ran the test cycle again and this time the unit complete drained. Since unit had an oversuds code there was likely suds in the pressure line that needed to be bows out. Retested and unit is working as designed. If clothes continue to sometimes not spin out the issue is likely bearing failure based on the noise I could hear. Rotor is tight, no gear case oil spotted at time of service. All is working as designed with no verifiable water leaks. Call complete.
