WASHER LG WT5170HW "Arrived on site to inspect washer not completing cycles. Upon further inspection, customer advised that the unit would fill with water for a long period of time and never advance to the rinse cycle. I found the drain hose not attached to the drain pipe, but it ran outside the washroom to a hose in the yard. Customer had cut the hose due to tercentenary freezing weather and this is when the unit began to malfunction. I found with the drain hose at the back of the unit not having a high loop, the water continued to fill in the tub due to the hose causing a syphoning effect and water was running straight through the drain pump without the drain pump on. After creating a high loop in the hose at the back of the unit and retested, the unit operated as designed.

Unplugged unit. Found condenser fan connection wasnt properly inserted and full of dust. Cleaned connection and properly secured. Plugged unit back on condenser fan and compressor operating as designed. Compressor had amp draw of 3.1amps. Both FC and RC evap motors operating as designed. Found frost pattern started to build of RC evap. Unit cycled to FC and frost pattern started developing on evap. Heaters tested good. Thermistors tested good. Door switches tested good. RANGE KITCHENAID KSGB900ESS2 Arrived onsite for range that wont reach temp in the oven. Upon inspection I found the sensor showing good resistance. I found a stored error code for a stuck button on the UI. I verified voltage at the wall outlet. I put the unit in preheat a few times to make sure it would light and it did every time. I ran a last preheat and the unit got up to the set temp as designed. I instructed the customer to make sure they arent blocking any of the top vents when using the oven. I advised them to monitor the unit and let us know if the issue persists but as of now the unit working as designed. No gas leaks were detected during time of service.

Upon arrival the Customer (husband of home) stated that he had heard a screeching noise once that sounded similar to a jet plane. The customers wife however started her big complaint was that the ui console longer produced sounds of any kind. Upon trying to power unit on I found it was functioning other then the lack of sound. I tried entering diagnostics and succeeded after 9 attempts. The only error code stored was F2e1 (stuck button error) I ran tests 11-14 but couldnt replicate the sound customer stated was there but I did find the inner tub starting to wobble free of the gearcase causing the washer to wobble. Office will need to reschedule once the availability of parts is known. I tested amp draw at the ignitor and it was not present. I accessed the rear of the unit and found 120Vac coming to the ignitor when trying to preheat. The unitwill need the lower bake ignitor for repair. I removed the old ignitor I am ordering screw x 2 (WP90767) and returning with both ignitors. I found that the extension tubing between the condenser and steel tubing was not sealed and leaked. Resealed the weld and vacuumed the system. Unit held vacuum. Installed 5.0 ounces of R134a refrigerant and tested. Unit is holding pressure and evaporator has a good frost pattern and unit is beginning to cool. Advised customer to give unit approximately 24-48 for it to completely cool and make ice. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

That would be indicating lower blower since convection fan stops running with door opened and blower goes to high with door open Found unit in new construction neighborhood with houses still be built on same street that most likely would create error code F6-E4 miscommunication. Preheated unit and monitored operation. Found lower blower creating a rumble sound when heated. Performed diagnostics mode and checked fault codes, found several F8-E0 lower blower not up to speed. Removed lower blower and installed new. Assembled unit and tested operation in test mode. All tested good."
