Due to the power board failure and ice maker failure, I removed and replaced both and found that the UI continues to not function. I tested the UI and found it not getting voltage. Retested the power board at P2-1 & 4 and found 5VDC and not 14VDC. Unit continued to fail. I found that the unit is not recognizing the door being closed and its showing to be open. I pulled the unit out and found the door latch harness damaged due to being caught in between the mounting bracket and screw. I re-wires the harness and tested continuity and it was good. Retested and unit continued to fail. Inspected the main control and found the diagnostics LED not on. I removed and replaced the main control and door latch and retested and unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Cleared the codes and continued with testing. While testing, I placed my multimeter on the black wire at the junction box and tested amp draw to the components. During the wash cycle the element showed 7-9amps and the dry cycle of diagnostics it showed 7-9amps. Also found that there is a lot of suds in the unit. Customer advised that they have a water softener system. I found detergent residue at the base of the door in the bottom the tub as well. I cleared the suds and made recommendations for use & care, as well as, detergent use. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Customer stated it stopped working after rolling power outages. I tried to jump a harvest and fill on IM but neither worked. I found no voltage at IM motor nor at the harness. I also only found 12VDC going to IM control and neither the IM controll or receiver board where lit up. I then checked voltage at the molex on frame by bottom left hinge and found only 8 volts indicating control is not sending voltage to IM.

Customer advised that their control panel would intermittently turn off and would come back on if they giggled the connector at the cabinet. REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL WRF555SDFZ05 Arrived on site for UNIT ICE MAKER IS NOT PRODUCING OR DISPENSING ICE AND EVERYTHING ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE REFRIGERATOR IS FREEZING. Placed in diagnostics and no failures came up. Ran ice maker harvest with jumper. Ice cubes were in the ice tray and inside the mold. Cubes were healthy in mold. Ice maker called for water as designed. Found ice chute gasket inside door loose and no longer centered. Adjusted the ice chute gasket to its normal position. Adjusted temp back to recommended. No repairs needed. Job completed
