REFRIGERATOR MAYTAG MFI2570FEZ00 Arrived on site for refrigerator that customer stated the ice bin would fill up with frozen water. Upon arrival I disassembled the icemaker and found that the truck was completely solid and frozen with ice indicating that the valve had been leaking into the icemaker on its own. I checked water pressure to the fridge everything checked out OK and then when ahead and replace the water inlet valve as well as the icemaker because the ice and also formed around the teeth causing the motor to get stuck then reassembled and tested the unit and verified that unit is not functioning as designed and water valve is no longer weeping into the icemaker. DISHWASHER KITCHENAID KDTM404KPS0 "Arrived on site for a dishwasher with UI acting up. Upon arrival customer stated unit would not start at all, the buttons would not work, and the clean light would flash on and off. He also stated they had several plumbers out and one replaced a valve and the other cycled the breaker. Upon further inspection I found UI working properly and unit would start up as normal. I entered diagnostics mode and ran test cycle and it ran as designed. I checked error codes and found stored error codes F8E4 for an open float switch. I gained access to float switch and found a lot of water in pan. I explained to customer that whoever installed it probably did not thread water line to inlet valve correctly allowing for water to get into pan, and one of the plumbers probably re-threaded it correctly so it would no longer leak. Then it dried up enough to start running again. I dried out rest of water and ohm’d out the switch, switch read good. Unit working as designed

He advised that with the water damage done to the deli UI, we needed to replace the pantry door due to issues with corrosion in the wiring or shorts in electrical wiring. He also mentioned to replace the deli harness, and bring a power supply board and LED power supply board in case further parts are needed. He said any one of those components could be causing this issue. I checked the main control and found the sensor connector fully plugged in. Tested the sensor and it’s within range. Pulled the unit out and removed the back panel and unit is showing 245V at the terminal block. Tested the sensor at the harness connection and it is within range. Unplugged unit and waited approximately 30 seconds and plugged back in. DISHWASHER KENMORE 665.13269K114 "Arrived on site for dishwasher not washing correctly. Upon arrival customer stated the soap pods were not dissolving during wash. I put unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error codes F6E6 for cold water incoming, F7E1 for no heat, and F8E1 for slow drain. During the test cycle I heard water come(was warm water) into unit but I did not hear the motor initiate the wash. I checked amp draw to heater and found correct amperage. I could also hear diverter relay click during cycle and at the end it drained fine. Issue began to seem like they may have had a power surge. But customer has been out of town. We cycled power at breaker and unit started working as designed. Customer was still concerned about soap not dissolving. I observed that they had a large cutting board blocking dispenser from opening all of the way and not allowing soap to come out. I explained this to the customer and ran another test cycle and could hear it getting caught on board.

She showed pictures of her clothes in the tube on one side of it which will cause it to be out of balance. I spoke to the customer about the size of her load. She showed me the load she was trying to wash. It included a garment bag. I old the customer having a garment bag like that in this type of washer will pull all the weight to one side and cause an off balance load. I instructed the customer to run a cycle with out the garment bag. I inspected the unit, I found fault code F2e1 stuck UI key in diagnostics. I ran a diagnostics cycle and found the unit working as designed. I ran a DLMS calibration. I inspected underneath the unit and found everything in good condition.

Customer had the unit unplugged and upon plugging it in the unit went into a drain. There was no water in the unit and I canceled out the cycle. Open the lid and ran a normal cycle on the unit ran as designed. Customer wanted to make sure that there was no other issues with the unit so I placed unit in service diagnostics. Found an F0 E5 (off balance load) error code. Ran the unit through an auto test in the unit ran as designed. Customer ran a load of clothes in the unit the unit filled agitated and we placed the unit in a drain and spin. The unit ran as designed. Went over user care guide and unit is working as designed. Upon arrival I checked amp draw to the compressor and found that it was around .78 A and when I ran a Forest defrost mode the amp draw to the heater was only 3.18 A and both readings were within safe range is not causing the fridge trip the way it was upon arrival and try and get in a diagnostic so I had numerous issues trying to get the fridge to go to diagnostic so I replace the main control and was then able to immediately get the fridge and the diagnostics and run the force defrost another test needed at this time I found the customer to run the fridge on another dedicated outlet using a extension cord if possible and if the issue does come back then we know that there is another issue with the fridge but if not then it is a breaker or electrical issue within the house that’s causing it. DRYER SAMSUNG DV448AEW/XAA "Arrived on site to inspect dryer drum not turning when unit is on. Upon further inspection, I removed the top panel and found the drive belt missing. I disassembled the unit and found the belt lying at the bottom of the unit. Also found the tension pulley roller barely moved which is why the belt broke due to the friction between the pulley and belt. I removed and replaced the tension pulley and replaced the belt. Cleaned the lint from the unit and reassembled. Tested and the unit is operating as designed. No lint observed at the end of service, job completed."
