Arrived onsite for Not Making Ice. Upon arrival Mrs. lt me know that the bottom mount ice maker is not operating. Inspected ice maker and found bail was on off position. Lowered the arm and ice maker immediately harvested ice that was in tray. Ice maker then filled correctly. Mrs thought that the bail arm down was the off position. I explained that the bail arm up is off and down is on. Unit is operating as designed. No leaks present at this time. Job complete

"Arrived on site to inspect wall oven door locked. Upon further inspection, customer advised that they did a cleaning cycle and the door failed to open. I was able to get the door unlocked and cycled power back on to test. Once the power was back on, the door lock began to make a loud winding noise and eventually unlocked. I tested the unit on Bake at 350 degrees and it operated as designed. I recommended that the customer not use the cleaning cycle, due to,the age of the unit, as the controls are no longer available and performing the cleaning cycle could cause the control to short out. Unit is operating as designed.

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator no cool. Upon further inspection, I went to test temps in the FC section and when I opened the FC door I found frost built up around the door and on the top panel from an air leak. I inspected the air chutes from the freezer to the fresh food section and they were frozen over blocking the airflow to,the fresh foods section. I removed the air tower assembly and cleared the ice. I found that the top left corner, of the FC section, of the FC door was gapped due to the liner being pushed in. I adjusted the liner and using manufacturer approved silicone, I sealed the gap in the liner all the way around the FC section (photo). Checked the frost pattern on the evaporator and it is good. Found the unit is tilting forward due to the flooring not level. Customer advised that they would place something under the front of the unit to help level it. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect washer odors. Upon further inspection, I found the bellow with mold on it. Also found the drain hose almost 3 feet down into the stand pipe. I removed the back panel and inspected the air trap and found mold inside. Cleaned the air trap out and pulled the drain hose out to where only approximately 4 inches was down in the stand pipe per manufacturer recommendations to keep from it creating a syphoning effect. I removed and replaced the bellow and tested the unit. Unit is operating as designed with no odor. I pulled up the drain hose instructions in the installation guide and showed it to my customer as they advised their plumber told them the hose should be all the way inside the stand pipe. After testing, no water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect waive cooler door not closing. Upon further inspection, the customer demonstrated the door not closing by slamming the door closed and it popped back out. I found the unit pushed back in the cabinet and not leveled. I pulled the unit out and tested the door closure and at a 45 degree angle, the door closed on its own. I advised the customer of my findings and demonstrated that theres nothing wrong with the unit. Customer argued that if he slams the refrigerator door, it stays closed. I attempted to explain that theres a huge difference in the units and neither door is designed to be slammed, but gently closed to allow the door to seal properly. I advised and demonstrated that with the unit being leveled, the door will close when opened at s 45 degree angle and it did such. I recommended that the customer contact the manufacturer to dispute. I will contact techline on the next business day since to day is a holiday. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is flashing an F9 E1 (slow drain) error code. Inspected unit and work area. Ran the unit through diagnostics and found an F7 E4 (basket re-engagement failure), F9 E1 (long drain), and F0 E7 (clothes detected in clean washer cycle) error codes. I attempted to run drain pump and could not hear it start. Check resistance with the drain pump and found that it had shorted out causing a main control failure. I asked the customer how they were broiling and the customer advised they leave the door open. I did indicate to the customer that leaving the door open will basically shut the power to the elements off and that they need to do that with the door closed. The customer advised that they have already pulled the thing apart and they could not find where any of the burning was coming from. I did disassemble the unit anyway and did confirm that there was no burnt wires, controls, or any grounding of any kind or inside the unit.The customer then complained about her one of her burners not turning off. Arrived onsite for a range oven that is not heating properly. Upon inspection I found that the spark ignitors are working and the flames on both back and broil burners are good. I did find out that the cx uses a sheet of oven paper to keep the bottom of the oven clean. These was covering the vent at the bottom of the unit keep the heating from Circulating through the oven properly in back. I removed it and temp tested oven and found the temp within specs. Job complete.

"Arrived to inspect water from ice bin area. I found the doors incorrectly aligned and the cabinet was not squared. I corrected the cabinet and door misalignment and found the ice maker housing was not fully pressed back during manufacturing, causing the ice bin to facia gasket to bind and fold on the inner corner. I corrected the ice maker housing issue and flipped the gasket 180* and verified the folding was corrected. Single evaporator unit, is not affected by the drain tube issue. No leaks observed during service."

Inspected compressor area and found compressor running at 1.2 amps, and condenser fan is running. Used steam gun to remove ice build up on evaporator cover, to attempt to gain aCCess. Could not remove all the way without damaging anything, as the cover is stuck to the evaporator with ice. Will need customer to perform natural defrost by unplugging the unit for 2 days prior to our next appointment, with doors open and towels down.
