Tested and inspected unit and found no ice buildup in RC. Found some ice buildup on FC evaporator cover but not much. Customer stated that unit has not made that sound after that. Tested and inspected unit and found FC door has gap in left side that is allowing warm air in creating frost buildup creating issues. Corrected FC door closing issues and gasket. Tested voltage at the control and found it sending voltage from the motor to relay but motor wasnt running. Found thermal fuse open. Installed WP3392519 fuse from truck stock. WASHER WHIRLPOOL WTW8500DC0 Arrived on site for washer needing previously diagnosed clutch and harnesses as well as slider assembly. Upon installing the needed parts I was able to reassemble and factory reset the machine unit worked well on the first diagnostics test and reset but I then ran a manual diagnostics test on both agitation and spin and found during agitation that a new error F7e9 (rotor locking up) occurred. I inspected all harness connections between ACU and motor but found nothing loose or broken. I also verified the main ACU was sending 120v down to motor during both selection cycles. New harness has no breaks in it. I attempted to try and remove the inner tub but couldnt get the wash plate off after removing 7/16 screw. Customer stated at this time they had been noticing a chemical smell in their cloths in recent weeks. Upon arrival I found that over all conditions of unit was not well. The main control ui panel is showing obvious signs of melting and heat damage and exposing the main control to a lot more heat then it can handle. Also found the rest of unit had signs of neglect with grease build up, soot, and corrosion in a lot of areas. Also found the igniter in the oven was receiving a full 120 v but was broken not allowing the oven to turn on and heat. Due to wear and tear on range the unit is still repairable but further issue may arise later in the further due do current state. She explained that the unit will run for a while and then randomly shut off and sometimes not drain, it will then throw the error code. She also said the unit is constantly getting unbalanced now. Upon further inspection I found back left foot stripped and foot cannot be re-leveled. I put unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error codes F6E3 for ACU not reading UI, F6E2 for UI not reading ACU, F9E2 pump drive or no drain problem, and F2E1 for stuck key. I cleared the error codes and ran a test cycle. I found unit did not spin during test cycle. I manually activated spin and it functioned as designed. It also read as a pass in the test cycle. Upon arrival into diagnostics and found a F6 for error indicating that the foot switch was having an issue I then inspected the float switch inside the tub itself around the cup and not see any damage or debris blocking it underneath and upon further inspection under the unit I found out one of the wires had come off of the float switch itself due to pinching. I was able to rewire the broken harness Factory reset the dishwasher to clear the air code I didnt verify the unit is fully functioning as designed during fill agitation and rain with no leaks during the call the customer also stated wont say that they were having issues with the door dispenser to the soap dispenser assembly and upon further inspection also found the spring had come out a place I was able to reassemble that as well and verified that the soap dispenser is also functioning as designed call complete

Noticed a foul odor coming from the dishwasher. Checked underneath the sink and found the drain hose going downhill from the garbage disposal back into the dishwasher. I advise the customer that their issue is primarily with the drain hose. The customer advised that they do not use their dishwasher ever and that they primarily and wash their dishes. I advise them to run a bleach cycle inside the dishwasher and then a normal cycle without any soap or dishes again after that. I did advise them to adjuster drain hose to go above their garbage disposal to avoid further issues. Call complete.

Upon arrival I was able to inspect and verify the previous diagnosis was correct I then installed the system equipment that was needed and was able to pull a vacuum to clear out the interior of the system for 20 minutes and then was able to make sure that there are no pressure leaks and the unit passed a push and pull test as well. I then was able to charge the unit up to 3 1/2 ounces of our 134A as recommended by factory sticker. And then reassembled and tested to verify there are no leaks of any kind and inform the customer that it will take 24 hours for temperatures to stabilize. Call complete

DISHWASHER FRIGIDAIRE FBD2400KW12B Arrived on site for dishwasher leaking after a previously repaired motor. Upon arrival I disassemble the unit and was able to verify after multiple back to back test at the motor itself was not the leak or caused the leak and that all previously repaired items were working as designed I did however find that the leak was not a matter of an immediate hardware failure so much as an overtime soap related hardware failure due to the fact that the door gasket and sweep seal were starting to corrode due to age and when the soap may contact it would lubricate the ceiling light water to pass through all over the floor. After getting authorization from the office and American home shield I was able to replace the door gasket as well as the door sweep and reassembled and tested the unit verify that the door seal on sweeper not showing any signs of further leaking or issues unit now functioning as designed call complete.

DRYER WHIRLPOOL WED4815EW1 "Arrived on site for DOES NOT ALWAYS DRY, NOT SOAKING WET BUT TAKES MULTIPLE CYCLES- CHECKED VENTS Ran temps with thermocouple and read a low heat of 109 and a high heat of 212. Upon arrival I noticed the timer was set to automatic dry and low heat. Explained to customer this cycle will turn off once it senses items are dry in the dryer whether the temperature is set to low, medium, or high. This also means if heavy items such as towels were inside with shirts the towels will still be damp. The dryer senses the shirts are dry and turns off before the towels had a chance to fully dry. With this, I recommended the customer use timed dry for heavier objects such as towels, sheets, comforters, and especially mixed loads. Lighter loads such as delicates can be set to dry with automatic dry. Dryer is heating and spinning as designed. No repairs needed."
