I preheated the upper oven and found the lower oven simply getting some residual heat from upper oven. Neither elements came on in lower oven and fan operated as designed. Customer also stated they only used the oven once and a black spot appeared on the bottom. I advised customer it was due to something dropping and hitting the bottom and burning on, for I can see the enamel under it. Customer stated they do not believe anything dropped. Customer advised the unit will run and the, will power off and will get warm causing her food to thaw in the freezer. Found no evidence of a defrost issue. Advise the customer that if the compressor continues to run for too long, the overload on the compressor will kick on and not allow the compressor to run until the compressor gets cooler. Unit will need a new gasket for repair. Used to heat gun to mend the gasket to form a better seal for the time being. RANGE FRIGIDAIRE FPGF3081KFC "Arrived on site for arrange that is not heating like it should on the right front burner. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advised that she has uneven cooking on almost all burners but most of all, her right front burner will ignite but as you lower the temper, the burner will go out by a medium setting. Confirmed customers complaint and found the right front burner igniting on a medium flame setting and shutting off by the time I hit the medium setting. Found the burner head completely gunked up with stains and rusting. Replaced burner head and tested unit. Unit was able to spread the flames better but still had an issue with shutting off by the medium setting. Attempted to get access to the valve and found 3 out of the first four screws stripping and breaking when trying to remove. Unit will need a complete overhaul with the top, screws, and valve for repair. Per the parts breakdown, some of the screws are not listed in the parts breakdown. Office

Checked the front left burner cap and found residue on the underside of the cap. Recommended that the customer keep the caps and ignitor clean and dry in order to operate correctly. Tested the bake/broil ignitor and it failed. Removed the back panel to test the ignitor and found the harness the valve was burnt. Re-wired the harness and retested and unit is operating as designed. Tested temps and the oven is within range of test temps of 350 degrees. I found the oven door gasket is bad and will need to be replaced. I am ordering the gasket and CNOTE-LSO OER CUSTOMER REQUEST. I tested voltage to the fill tube heater as I found the fill tube frozen again. Fill tube heater is getting 125V and is showing continuity. While testing the unit, I lost power to the unit. Checked the breaker and it was on. Cycled power to the unit and it took several times to get the unit to power back up. While testing voltage at the power board, the unit came back on, but the interior lights, UI and deli UI failed to come on. Unit is cooling at this time. Performed diagnostics mode and tested door switches and found opened when doors are closed. Gained access to main control and measured door switches, found door switches read opened and closed. Powered unit off to test switches. When powered back n lights and ice dispenser was working, no water. Called Whirlpool tech support and spoke with Andrew. Tested fan operation and measured voltage at control. Found all fans working. Found deli control responding as designed. Disconnected center mullion and tested water and found working. Center mullion is on a 120 volt circuit and does not seem to be issue. With all working will not be able to find shorted dc circuit. Informed customer to call back when failure reappears. All tested good, no water leaks detected during service."

I put unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error codes F9E1 for no drain, F8E2 for inlet valve problem, and F7E1 for no heat. I cleared the error codes. I then reset the unit at the breaker and tried to drain again. Still found no drain. I put unit into diagnostics mode again and ran a test cycle. The unit skipped drain and started running wash cycle. You could hear the washer performing as designed. At the end of the cycle it did not drain. I gained access to the pump and found it plugged in properly. I activated drain and found 120V goi g to it but drain not activating. Will need to replace drain. Ordering drain pump and will need office to reschedule.; ordrng 1 W11497943 (Drain Pump)"
