Arrived to inspect LF. Service test mode had F8E1 stored and I cleared it and tested. I found the main cold inlet valve solenoid cracked and showing no continuity. Further testing revealed the gear case lower seal had ruptured and oil had flung around the inside of the chassis

Arrived to inspect heating issue. We had recently replaced the switch assy and the new quit after only one use. I removed the switch and found debris fro manufacturing within it. I removed and replaced the switch and tested. Normal operation resumed. Warranty applied to this service.

"Arrived to inspect cooling issue. Prior company said failed compressor. I tested the compressor in service test mode 4 and found it drew 5 amps, within expectations for the temperature of the RC and FC chambers. Removing the evaporator cover, I found evidence of prior evaporator freezing. Further, I found the lower part of the FC door that holds the gasket was badly mismolded and allowing the door gasket to move higher than the lower front of the FC opening, being the source of air that causes the evaporator freeze-ups. I contacted the mfg, tech Andy and advis my findings and that the unit would require a new door, p/n W11022780. File # 7733638797. CX will need to contact whirlpool customer service at 1-800-253-1301.

"Arrived on site for a cooktop that is not igniting any burners except the left front. Inspected unit and work area. fChecked all burners and found all igniting as designed six times on each burner. The customer did advise that the burner is not igniting is somewhat of an intermittent issue but wanted to have it checked out. I did explain to the customer that because the unit is working as designed, there is no check I can make to determine what if anything is causing this failure. Did advise the customer that it is possible that it could be working as designed. The customer advised that she had just moved in and is not used to this machine. The unit is working as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived on site for refrigerator that is intermittently having issues dispensing ice. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit seems to club the ice from the icemaker and will get stuck in the shoot coming down the dispenser door. They will have to use an ice pick to break up the ice for it to drop. Tested the ice dispenser and found it working properly. Checked all ice cubes in the ice container and found no evidence of any kind of leaking from the icemaker. All ice was solid and not clumping. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Sterling SR# 7733639129. He had me asked the customer several questions and advised that based on the current information, the unit is working as designed. He did it advisedthat the unit can drop three or four bridged cubes that can get caught in the ice chute and caused this issue. The customer did state that that is what is happening. Sterling advised that the best thing they can do is to dump out their ice once a week during the summer months to avoid this issue as much as possible. However he did state that this is not a cause for concern and that the unit is working as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived on site for a dishwasher that is not filling. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised the unit just makes the growling sound and does not actually wash her dishes. Confirmed the customers complaint but did not find the unit trying to even attempt to fill. The unit would just stall out and make this grinding noise for 30 seconds before flashing on the control. The unit would start the cycle and Wood keep the unit in a paused state. Ran the unit through diagnostics and went through the auto test. Found the unit showing a 7C (motor vane check) error code. Attempted to run checks on the motor van and could not fin he connectors for the vane. Spoke to CVS and was advised to order the main control, wash motor, and sensor vane. Upon inspection I found temps in fc at 35* and in the fc 4* Upon further inspection I found that there was some condensation in the rc caused by and torn door gasket. I the checked the rc evap and found ice buildup I replaced the ice and checked heating element and found it good fan was running. I checked the defrost mode to an 8hr defrost. Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not sealing in the refrigerator section. Inspected unit and work area. Confirmed customers complaint and found the gap between the gasket and the upper left-hand side of the refrigerator door gasket. Attempted to reposition the hinge to allow the door to fit properly but found that the door was in fact pushed up against the cabinet. Found that the upper portion of the door was pulled away from the cabinet whereas the lower portion of the door was completely straight. Unit has a bowed door and will need to be replaced. Arrived on site for a dryer that has no power. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit has seemingly not responded to her when trying to power on and use the Appliance several times. She advised that the unit does work right now but it took four days for it to turn back on. Check voltage from the control and found proper voltage. Check behind the unit and found that the vent hose behind the unit had been somewhat restricted due to the vent hose being crunched and being too long. I did advise the customer to shorten their vent hose and to create a better line of venting for the dryer. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator leaking from dispenser area. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the unit is not cooling in either section. I checked temps and both compartments were warm. Pulled the unit out onto my floor protector and inspected the compressor and controls. I found the unit is getting 124V and the inverter is showing 3.3VDC (range 3-6VDC). I could hear the compressor making a constant chirping noise and was warm, as were all of the refrigerant lines. Arrived on site for washer leaking. Upon arrival customer stated unit had completed cycle but left water all over floor and leading into rest of room. Upon further inspection I found no errors codes or signs of any leaks for any of the units water supply and distribution systems. Found unit could hold multiple gallons of water at its fill limit within causing any leaks. Found after multiple drain attempts that stand pipe within wall of home was backfilling leading to large amounts of water to go everywhere. Instructed customer at time of service they would need a 0lumber to complete repairs. Call complete

Arrived onsite and for ongoing squeal and found new belt may have been slipping found replacement belt a half inch shorter and tighter than old belt. Replaced belt and cam together. Replaced the actuator in case of partial shifting causing noise. Ran 5 towel load to test. All is operating perfectly and quietly. Calibrated unit. Advised customer on repair. Gearcase shaft tight and snug without vertical movement and no oil leak evidence at all. Gearcase not replaced.

Arrived onsite and found unit operating with failed receptive and very damaged main harness. Advised customer that the harness is no longer available for repair and therefore any repair would be risky and not warrantable. No repair viable.

Arrived onsite and found complaint of loud interior fridge noise. Was able to confirm and replicate that the damper baffle motor was becoming noisy. Replaced damper assembly. Unit is now operating properly and quietly. All checks good.

Arrived onsite and determined ice not producing but cause was obstructed fill arm. Cleared bin obstruction to restore function. All checks good.

I check voltage at the wall and found that there was only 120vac there I reset breaker and found no change. Installed drain motor then ran dishwasher on multiple cycles with customer present to insure u it could drain as designed. Found no leaks and unit completely drained as designed. Call complete

Arrived on site for a washing machine that wont advance past the sensing portion of the cycle. Inspected unit and work area. Could not locate a model or serial tag on the unit. Were in the unit three diagnostics and found an F7 E1 (basket speed fault) and F7 E7 (motor unable to reach target rpm) error codes. I tested the unit and manual high speed spin and found the basket spinning but the unit shut down the spin after 45 seconds. Checked underneath the washer and found evidence of ation inside the washer. Found a dead and a rats nest inside of the gearcase housing. Spoke to claims and was advised not to proceed any further with repair due to multiple issues with ation and no model and serial tag. Advise the customer of both issues and the customer is going to get themselves a new washer. Call complete.

Arrived on site for a dryer that is not drying clothes. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that it takes 3 to 4 cycles in order to dry clothes even though the unit does get hot. Used the vent tester kit on the unit and found the vent tester showing poor airflow for all dryers. Tested the unit again without the vent hose attached and found airflow good for all dryers. Checked the vent hose on the back and could not see any obstruction so I advise the customer that the issue would have to be with the vent going through the home. The unit is working as designed. Call complete.

Arrived on site for a refrigerator thats not making ice. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit started to make ice a few days ago but it had not been working for over a week. Tested the icemaker function and found the unit working properly. Went ahead and replace the icemaker just in case due to her issue of the unit not working properly for over a week. Tested the unit and the unit is now working as designed. Call complete.

Arrived on site for a range that is flashing a main control fault error message. Inspected unit and work area. Confirmed the customers complaint and disassembled the back panel. Found five live es on the backside of the control which caused the failure. I did advise the customer that warranty would not cover this repair due to ation damage. Customer is going to attempt to repair at themselves by buying the control. Advise the customer to get rid of the es first prior to installing the new control so they dont deal with this issue again. All complete.

"Arrived on site for no cool and loud noise. Removed compressor cover found dye traces dye to manufacture weld joint from discharge tube to condenser coil braze joint,loud noise from compressor. Replaced compressor,drier repaired weld joint on condenser coil. Vacuumed system down unit kept vacuum recharged system to manufacture spec powered unit on checked low side pressure good."

"Arrived on site. Replaced main control,removed evaporator cover found heater harness not fully seated to harness,removed harness found bent pin in heater harness preventing a power connection,adjusted pin secured harness connection."

"Arrived to instal previously diagnosed and ordered parts. I recovered the refrigerant and then removed and replaced the compressor, dye drier and service port. I vacuumed the system until the vacuum pump reached maximum depth and then monitored the vacuum for an additional 15 minutes. Holding vacuum, I charged the system with the MFG prescribed 5.5oz of refrigerant and tested. The unit operated as designed and I replaced the faulty door gasket. I advised the CX that the unit may take up to 48 hours to completely cool and start ice production. No leaks observed during service."
