I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Andy SR# 7729614014. He advised that the issue would have to be with the fabric softener dispenser and advise to replace that to fix the issue. "Arrived on site for a dishwasher that?s making abnormal sound during the wash cycle. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit makes these abnormal sounds only twice during the wash cycle and they just wanted to verify that it wasn?t a problem with the unit. Placed unit in service diagnostics and found no stored error codes. Ran the unit through an auto test and the unit ran as designed with no abnormal sounds. The customer started a cycle on this app for 20 minutes as it filled and re-circulated and drained. Found no abnormal cycles. The wife mentioned that happens in the middle and towards the end of the cycles. Due to no known issue of abnormal sounds on this unit besides potentially an issue with a spray I?m getting held up, I advise the customer to take a video of the sound when it happens so that we could check to see if the sound heard was a normal part of the dishwashing cycle or not. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error codes F4E3 for wash motor not running, F6E4 for float switch open, and F7E1 for no heat. I ran a test cycle in diagnostics and found the valve initiating and filling the unit, the wash motor not running, the dispenser opened, the diverter clicking, the heater turned on, and the unit drained at the end. The diagnostics cycle threw F4E3 at the end. I gained access to the motor and checked voltage while running another test cycle. I found the control sending no voltage to the motor. I checked voltage at the wall and control and found proper voltage. This indicates a bad control. I replaced the control and tested the unit again. The wash motor still did not start. "Arrived on site for a dishwasher receiving an F8E4 error code. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error codes F8E4 for float switch open, FAE2 for vent wax motor electrical problem, and F9E1 for no drain. I cleared the stored error codes. I ran a test cycle on the unit and the unit filled, unit washed and diverter clicked, the dispenser opened, it heated, and drained as designed. It ran through the test cycle fine and did not generate any error codes. The error codes were cleared from the machine. I ran a diagnostics cycle again to test the unit and it again ran through as designed. I then began a test cycle to see if it would throw the error code after the fill and it did not. I called techline and spoke with Leon and received SR# 7730375650. He advised checking the drip tray and I found some water build up in it. I observed a slow drip from the rubber tube on the left hand side. I found the unit unleveled and leaning to forward. I also found excess soap in the unit and advised the customer that this could cause this as well. I leveled the unit and cleaned out the water. I tested the unit one more time in diagnostics. The unit is now working as designed. Call complete."

Upon arrival the customer stated he has defrosted the unit several times already and it keeps frosting in the RC very fast and the FC is cooling fine. I tested the temps in the FC and found it at 0?F and the RC at 47?F when set at 37?F. I found the RC evap are frosted up. I found no issue or leak in door seal. I went to steam out the frost to find it was a solid block of ice. I could not steam it enough to get the evap cover off without damaging the evap itself. I pulled the unit out and unplugged the unit and tried the breaker again and this time it stayed on. I removed the ignitor control cover and found the neutral wire had gotten caught in between the cover and the chassis and damaged. I spliced the wire and using a wire nut, I mended the harness and retested and unit is operating as designed. Using my liquid gas leak detector, I tested all gas line connections to the unit and found no leaks. No gas leaks detected during service, job completed."

Arrived on site for oven not heating properly. I inspected the u it and work area. I spoke to the customer and she stated occasionally it will have a flame coming out of the broil burner by the fitting. I inspected the fitting and burner. I found the burn misaligned and the fitting mishaped. I inspected the bottom metal of the oven and found it warped and causing uneven heating in the oven. I am ordering the fitting bottom oven and returning with the broil burner. Arrived onsite for dishwasher making noise. Upon inspection found unit making humming sound during the wash cycle. It?s intermittent and last for a couple seconds at a time. Did find lower spray arm clogged with debris. Was able to remove some but not all. Customer says noise has actually lessened. Could be an issue with uneven spray arm or potential pump and motor issue. Customer will wait on repair for now being that the dishwasher is still functioning.

Upon further inspection infound the test Strike was broken from door and lid lock wasnt ohming out correctly. Arrived on site for washer not cycling correctly. Upon arrival I found unit wasnt activating the lid lock. After replacing the lid lock I ran a few diagnostics test and found cam assembly as well as gear case and motor had been damaged internally and caused rubbing of the belt and other components under washer. Office will need to reschedule once Availability of parts is known.; ordrng 1 W11454741 (Gearcase) and 1 W11428524 (Capacitor) and 1 W10721967 (Cam assem) and 1 W11239857 (Belt) and 1 W10890624 (Motor) and 1 285565 (Agitator) and 1 WP389140 (Drive block) and 1 WP21366 (Spanner nut)

"Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered part. Due to the small oven door hinge being wobbly I removed and replaced the left hinge and tested. Unit is operating as designed. No gas leaks detected during service, job completed."

Arrived on site to test unit for error code. Pull unit out and did a hard reset. Test unit and unit pre heated to 350. Job complete.

"Arrived on site to inspect fridge for not cooling correctly, upon inspection found the lower evap not frosting correctly , compressor was running at 2.0 amps, spoke with Techline Sr# 7729745412 and was advised to replaced evap and check pressure. "Arrived on site to inspect cooktop for not heating at all, upon inspection found the ground wire charred next to L1, separated wires and connected correctly. All functions returned. Complete"

Arrived on site for a dryer taking several cycles to dry the clothes. I tested the heat in the unit with my thermocouple with the vent off and found the unit getting to proper temps and fluctuating as normal. I then tested the heat with the vent on and found the unit still getting to proper temps but fluctuating down significantly slower (almost 3x slower). I found the unit has poor airflow causing the unit to take longer to dry. I advised the customer of my findings. I found the unit working as designed. Call complete.
