"I arrived on site to diagnose a previously installed cooktop that had burned out and tripped the breaker and is no longer showing power, I gained access to the unit and turned on the breaker and verified proper voltage and polarity at the terminal block. I gained access to the module and called tech line and spoke with Anthony to ask why the repeated burn out of the module, he informed me that the unit is not compatible with certain ovens if there is a unit underneath, I gained access and verified the unit is compatible, he informed me that the unit has to have enough room for the fans to ventilate properly which requires 5 3/8 of clearance between the cooktop counter and the oven, I found that there isnt proper clearance sr#7732003902. The correction for this unit would be to either have the cooktop raised or the oven lowered to the point where there is 5 3/8 of clearance between the counter and the top of the oven, otherwise the cooktop will continue to fail. The cooktop is working as designed now after replacing the module, I informed the customer to not use the unit until the clearance issue is corrected. Job complete."

"Arrived on site to inspect ice machine not making ice. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested and all components came on. I turned the unit on and monitored a cycle and the evaporator never formed a sheet of ice. While testing, the reservoir drain pump stopped operating. I found where the grid cutter connector had shorted. Tested the cutter and found it out of range on ohms reading. Tested voltage at the control and it is good. I found the compressor very hot and a large amount of corrosion on the copper lines. No water leaks observed during service, job completed. Unit left turned off for safety."

Arrived on site for powers on but not starting. Captured picture of missing model and serial tag for quick pics. Tested dryer in diagnostics and no errors came on. Tested drum and could hear motor click but drum wouldnt spin. Gained access to the drum and found a large tear in the belt and belt was very loose. Removed drum and found belt was only attached to the idler pulley. Removed belt and installed new belt. Inspected rollers and glides. All moving parts that assist drum functioning as designed. Powered up dryer and drum is turning as designed. Heat is on. Explained to customer to keep the dryer where I left it to avoid crushing the air vent. Air vent venting properly but it is very long and gets tangled if pushed too far against wall. Gave customer a leave behind pamphlet for future reference. Job completed.

Arrived on site for Washing machine recently started making a ratcheting noise while agitating. Found agitator was loose and wobbled when it was jiggled by hand. Removed agitator to inspect teeth at bottom where it mounts to the gearcase stem. Teeth looked good. Reassembled the agitator and made sure the mounting bolt was tight. The agitator no longer wobbles or seems loose. Asked the customer if we could run a load of towels to test agitator. Once washer went to agitate the noise was gone. If it starts making the loud noise again they will know the agitator teeth are worn and it needs replacement. Customer was loading items by wrapping them around agitator instead of loose heaps. Showed them owners manual section where it covers loading items. This may have caused the agitator bolt to come loose and cause it to wobble and grind teeth.

Arrived on site for ice machine making thin ice still. Upon arrival I found unit full of ice and confirmed that unit was set to thickest lvl but was producing very thin ice. After further testing I found cause of problem was the recirc. Pumps internall float sensor timing out to quickly when res. Tank filled. After replacing pump I reassembled and tested unit. Found ice machine made a full thick layer of ice as designed. Instructed customer to give unit 24hrs to replenish large ice in bin. Call complete

"Arrived on site for There is a grease stain inside the washing machine tub. Customer showed me brown areas inside washer. The stains were on the three baffles. Didnt look like gear grease, but placed in diagnostics and no error codes came on. Ran through full diagnostics cycle and when washer went into spin it sounded good. Bearings are not damaged and washer is running as designed. No repairs needed. Recommended affresh cycle with affresh tablets. Eraser should be rubbed gently onto stain to avoid damaging the baffle color. May need to rub hard to completely remove stains and warned customer it may discolor the gray on the baffle but at least the stain would be gone.

I advanced through testing and the dispenser, drain pump, and element all operated as designed. I removed and replaced the sump/motor assembly and retested and unit is operating as designed. Both compartments were over 75 degrees. After further inspection I found corrosion around deli ui control. Also found multiple failures between dc voltage transfer from all three controls behind fridge as well a power failure to compressor and inverter. Also found 3 way coil resistance out of range. "Arrived on site to test unit for not cooling and water leaking. Found compressor not running, unit was warm and ice in ice bin was leaking into FC. Replaced start device and run capacitor, tested unit, unit works good. Advised customer to place glass of water in FC and when frozen over to use unit. Ideal frost pattern starting to develop nicely.

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not drying. Upon further inspection, I found the customer not using rinse aid. Customer advised that they have a water softener system. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes. Continued with testing and monitored amp draw to the components. The element is showing 7-9amps during wash/drying cycles of diagnostics. Ohmed the element and it is within range. I made recommendations for use and care, as well as, detergent and rinse aid use. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived onsite for refrigerator with broken drawer/shelf. Upon inspection I confirmed the complaint. I advised the customer that the extended warranty does not cover removable accessories like the shelf. T; ordrng 1 WR71X10973 (Shelf DROP OFF) and 1 WR71X10761 (Insert DROP OFF)

Arrived onsite for dishwasher not cleaning dishes. Having no stopper and having lower dish rack scratching dishes. Upon arrival found unit dish rack damaged left stopper missing and sump not operating. Ordering stopper and rack. Replaced sump unit is now cleaning.; ordrng 1 W10311986 (Lower rack) and 1 WPW10082861 (Stopper)

Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed part. Found that drain line is not a replaceable part. Gained access to drain tube and removed white plastic water cap at the end of the drain tube and water poured out. Inspected white plastic cap and found debris inside restricting water from draining into pan to evaporate. Removed cap and cleaned out debris. Made a small slit in the bottom of the cap to allow water to flow through and avoid restrictions in the drain tube going forward. Slit is only big enough to allow water to weep through and at the same time small enough to restrict return air from entering. Found freezer door gasket was sagging. Had SR tech confirm this was not abnormal. Freezer gasket was getting a good seal when door was closed and gasket was tightly secure inside trim to fit. Job completed.

Arrived on call for complaint of not working. Found the lid locked and drain pump on. No water in tub and control not responding properly. Will need striker because had to break it to gain access to model number. ; ordrng 1 W11457841 (Striker) and 1 W11543996 (Control) and 1 W11396717 (Pump)

"Arrived on site and inspected microwave with No power. Confirmed the complaint checked voltage at the outlet and got 120. Customer advised they used the microwave for approximately 4 hours straight and when they tried to use it again, it was dead. Unit will require a fuse to complete the repair. All other parts marked for use on return services. See attention note. Customer said Whirlpool advised them to present the closing documents, which I photographed. Needs more work ; ordrng 2 W10138793 (THERMAL FUSE)s and 1 W10422269 (FILTER BOARD)"
