Arrived on site for a washing machine model MVW6230RHW2 that is making abnormal sounds during agitation. Inspected unit and work area. The customer showed me a video of what was happening and it was making an abnormal noise I hadnt heard before. I tested the unit and co firmed the customers complaint. I gained access underneath and found the beIt and splutch assembly stripped. I also found the actuator arm arm was wiggling from side to side. I went ahead and replaced the splutch assembly W10721967, actuator W11481722, and belt W11239857 and tested the unit. I still found the sound present. I went to remove the agitator and found it seized to the drive shaft. I broke the agitator off and replaced the agitator W11550891 and gearcase W11449840. I reassembled the machine and found the machine begin to work and operate as designed with no abnormal sounds present. Call complete. No leaks were present during service.

Arrived on site for a washing machine model GHW9300PW4 that is leaking. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that he found part of his bellow torn and used duct tape to try and hold it until service but didnt know if there were any other leaks. I checked the inside and found no other signs of water residue. I confirmed the bellow was torn and replaced the bellow WP8182119. I reassembled the machine and tested the unit on a quick wash cycle. Arrived on site to look at model MVW7230HW0 for customer complaint of unit making a loud noise during filling portion of wash cycle. Found noise coming from valves, I replaced drawer and ran diagnostic tests, unit tested good with no leaks after repair. Part used w11400157

Arrived on site to diagnose dryer not heating. Verified proper voltage at the terminal block; voltage tested within correct range. Disassembled unit and removed the front panel to access internal components. Inspected the heating circuit and found the heating element to be open (failed). Arrived on site to test unit WTW6157PW1 for noise and loose basket. Upon arrival customer stated she heard a grinding noise and saw the basket off-balance. Entered service mode found no stored error codes. Ran a test cycle and during spin the slider would not properly engage with the rotor. Inspected slider and found missing rivets causing improper engagement. Replaced slider (W10734521) and ran a test cycle with all components properly engaging. Arrived on site for a washing machine model WTW5105HW0 that is not completing cycles. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised they could not get the machine to finish. They said it throws an error code and does not spin out. I ran the unit it through diagnostics and found an F9 E1 (long drain), F7 E6 (open motor circuit), F7 E1 (basket speed fault), F7 E7 (basket unable to reach target RPM), and F0 E7 (load detected when running the clean washer cycle) error codes. I found water at the bottom of the basket and attempted to drain the machine. I heard the drain pump buzzing, but no water was draining. I removed the water with a shop back and gained access to the drain pump. I found the drain pump impeller broken, causing the issue. I replaced the drain pump and checked all other components. I found the belt and cam extremely worn. I replaced both parts (W11239857 and W10721967) and tested the unit. The unit it began to work and operate as designed with no leaks present during service. Arrived on site to test unit WRFC5236RZ00 for not working. Upon arrival customer stated unit intermittently dispenses water without input, cooling was lost, and water began leaking from FC. Inspected FC and found ice slab on bottom of cabinet with condensation present on top and side walls. Verified evaporator fan and ice box fan operating correctly. Heater energized and drain hole clear with proper water flow. Ran ice maker harvest successfully but was unable to perform fill test. Contacted techline and documented findings under case number 23219833. Per techline recommendation, will need to replace control and ice maker; UI also recommended. Arrived on to look at model WED49STBW1 for customer complaint of drum not spinning. Found broken belt, stuck rollers, and sharp burs on motor coupler. I used polishing paper to remove sharp burs on motor coupler and used repair kit to replace idler, rollers, and belt. Unit tested good. Part used 4392065

Arrived on site to inspect washer MVW4505MW2 taking a long time per to start and then it shuts off. Upon further inspection, the customer provided a video of what the unit has been doing and it appears that theres a miscommunication between the main ACU and HMI. I attempted to place the unit in diagnostics and the unit failed and all of the UI lights began to flash then would stop ahd only the sensing light would flash and then repeat itself. I unplugged the unit and tested voltage at the wall, along with polarity and the wall outlet is good. I gained access to the main control and UI and found the main control diagnostics LED flashing as designed. I tested voltage into the main control and coming out of the control and it is good (122V). I disconnected the UI from the main control and tested the harness and it has good continuity. I tested the cycle selection encoder harness and it is good as well. With the main control recently replaced, I am ordering the UI, all encoders, main control and will return with all prescreened parts. Unit was left unplugged for safety purposes. Arrived on site to inspect dryer MED6630MBK0 drum not tumbling. Upon further inspection, I turned the drum by hand and found it difficult to turn and it sounded like something was rubbing on it. I removed the top panel and found the belt had turned over and it was shredded. I disassembled the unit to gain access to the drum and belt and found some screws missing from the front panel. I inspected the rollers and tension pulley and they are in good condition. Using the belt from the repair kit provided for todays service, I installed the new belt and reassembled the unit and tested. The unit is operating as designed and no lint observed during service, job completed. 4392067

Arrived on site to diagnose microwave sparking and not heating properly. Tested unit and confirmed sparking inside the cavity along with no heat being produced. Disassembled unit and removed front cover to access high-voltage components including the magnetron, capacitor, and diode.Performed diagnostic testing and found the high-voltage diode and capacitor were shorted, causing improper voltage regulation and resulting in sparking and loss of heat. Replaced both the diode and capacitor with new components. Reassembled unit and tested operation. Verified that the microwave is now heating properly and no longer producing any sparking during operation. All functions are working as designed. Job complete.

Arrived in site to inspect refrigerator WRFF3336SZ00 not cooling. Upon further inspection, I tested temps in the FC and found it at 39 degrees. I gained access to the FC evaporator and found no frost pattern. The unit is in a tight space and I was able to get the front section onto my floor protector to pull it out and get access to the compressor. Using my black light, I checked for dye/leaks and found a leak on the condenser line just behind the condenser. Also found the compressor very hot. I am ordering the compressor, access valve, UV dye drier, CNOTE-2 HOUR JOB. I contacted the customer to explain my findings and requested that they have the unit pulled out into the kitchen, due to the tight space its in, before we arrive to service the leak. Called techline and spoke with Tim SR#23216035 and agreed the inlet valve is the only culprit that would cause slow dripping into the tub . Proceeded to replace W11684258 valve. Upon further inspection, I pulled the washer out and gained access to the underside and found no leaks from any components or any signs of issues. I took off the rear panel and gained access to the inlet valve and water supply and drain hose and found no water leaks. I found that the hot water valve was a little weak. I replaced the valve and tested the unit in test mode and consumer mode and did not observed any leaks. The unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service. W11222849

Arrived on site to test unit for MW issues, customer stated that sometimes it works and others is doesnt, tested unit found if unit is closed from the center of the handle it works every time and if you let the door slightly slam then it doesnt heat because the door switch is deactivated, explained to customer that per manufacturer specifications the door needs to be closed and opened from the center of the handle, provided customer with WI-FI team number so unit can get connected properly, at this time unit is running as designed job complete

Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator WRT541SZDM03 freezer frosting up in apartment 2108. Upon further inspection, I found ice build up on the bottom of the freezer on the left side under the ice maker. Using my steamer, I removed the ice and gained access to the evaporator and ice maker fill tube. I found the fill extension too short and leaking water when the ice maker would call for water. Using a tube from my van stock, I installed the extension tube and cleared the ice from the unit, reassembled the FC section and tested the ice maker. Unit is operating as designed and no further leaks observed at the end of service. Job completed. WPW10496649

Arrived on site for refrigerator MFI2269FRZ03 with issue of freezer door gasket not sealing. Upon arrival, inspected unit. Found entire base of freezer has a sheet of ice not allowing door to close correctly. I found evaporator drain pan is clogged. I removed all ice from Freezer. I removed drain tube and cleared clogged. Unit is now draining correctly and door is now closing correctly. Unit is operating as designed. Job complete

Arrived on site to replace previously diagnosed parts. Upon arrival removed rotor and found slider plastic has splintered and is most likely the cause of the noise. Replaced slider (W10734521) and ran a test cycle with all components properly engaging and no abnormal noises. Unit is now running as designed, no leaks detected, job complete.

Arrived on site to look at model WRX988SIBM03 for customer complaint of unit not cooling properly. Found signs of unit shutting down and then refreezing creating frost build up in freezer. Arrived on site to look at model WGD4105SW0 for customer complaint of unit not powering on. Found issue with the control board. I replaced control, unitntested good. Part used w11789530

For washer NTW4516FW4, verified pressure switch fault and continuous drain pump operation. Removed and replaced control board w11603811. Recalibrated and ran through auto tests: unit filled, agitated, drained, and spun as intended. No leaks detected at time of service.

Arrived onsite for incorrect fill. Found out from customer she was filling the drum up and even with towels she was overfilling the drum. I advised the customer that due to the overfill and the material there isnt enough water to get all the towels wet and it could lead to a offbalance issue, stopping the washer function. Customer asked if she were allowed to use King sheets and I syayed king sized sheets will not work in the unit as it will cause a offbalance load. Customer stated she wasnt happy with the product and I syayed there are no errors and unit fills up as designed and completes diagnostic cycle as designed. Even tested a normal cycle and all were within parameters. Customer will be contacting whirlpool customer care for resolution. Call complete. No parts.

Arrived on site to diagnose range with oven not working on broil function. Tested unit and confirmed broiler was not igniting. Inspected components and found the broil igniter was weak and not drawing sufficient current to open the gas valve. Replaced faulty broil igniter. Reassembled unit and performed operational test broiler ignited properly and is now heating as designed. Verified proper operation. Job complete.

Arrived on site to inspect washer WTW4107SW0 noises. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the unit makes a loud noise during spin. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F0E9-off balance pause. I cleared the code and continued with testing. The unit operated as designed until it got to the spin cycle and at the end of spin, when the motor brake was coming on, the unit began to make a loud grinding noise. I tilted the unit back and gained access to the cam assembly and found that the cam teeth were grinding on the pulley teeth and I found a small amount of packing grease on the gearcase spindle that had gotten onto the cam assembly. I removed the cam assembly and found the spring was too short keeping the cam assembly from fully engaging. I cleaned the grease from the spindle and installed a new cam assembly and adjusted the spring. Calibrated the unit and retested and the unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed. W10721967

When I plugged back on, I heard the nosies coming from the motor condenser. After disconnecting the condenser I found that was the issue. Dishwasher WDF332PAMS0. Customer stated the dishwasher would turn on by itself. Unit was unplugged; plugged it in and console lit up, then shut off. Watched dishwasher for a few minutes and it did not turn on. Ran diagnostics; only fault code was F5E1 (door stuck open), possibly from attempting to start without door closed properly. Asked customer again how it would start by itselfhard to understand due to language barrier. Customer stated water bill went up to about $300; guessed dishwasher might fill with water even when off, then drain, causing it to seem like it was running. Removed and replaced water valve w11684258. Advised customer to call back if issue persists. Dishwasher working as intended. No leaks detected at times of service.

Arrived on site to test unit WRX735SDHZ07 for no lights and gasket issues. Upon arrival inspected unit and found upper LED panel very dim along with both deli drawer lights. Inspected RC gaskets and found both torn, left side exposing magnets and right side missing magnets entirely. Determined upper LED panel and both RC gaskets require replacement.
