Arrived on site to test unit for unit leaking. Saw unit pulling out when opening the door and saw left side mounting bracket was missing screw. Test unit and found unit over sudsing. Cleared all suds and advised customer to run unit with out any soap to clear the suds. Went to aligned the left side mounting bracket to cabinet trim and the trim fell right off just by touching it. Tenant was standing there and saw that I soon as I touched it the cabinet trim came off. There was not screws or anything holding the trimmings place. Spoke with homeowner and sent pictures of the trim to home owner. Job complete.

Arrived onsite for a dryer thats not heating up properly. I found the voltage supply to the dryer 208VAC. I found the dryer getting up to 168 degrees at the exhaust with the duct disconnected and cycling properly. The dryer is slower to heat up due to the voltage supply and I explained to the director that this was normal. With the duct connected the dryer is getting poor airflow due to the vent being partially restricted. On arrival the dryer had clothes in it and they were dripping wet. I showed this to the director and explained that the washer was not spinning the clothes out properly and this was some of the issue. I also found the vent partially crushed due to the install. I advised having the vents cleaned and adding an elbow at the wall and one at the dryer to allow the hose to loop up and back down then the dryer could be pushed back further. I also advised having the washer looked at due to it not spinning clothes out correctly all the time. At this time this dryer is working as designed. Call complete. NO PARTS INSTALLED.

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not dispensing ice and has a weird smell coming from the back of the unit. The customer advised that after the tornado that came through, they lost power for four days, and that meat had spoiled in her freezer. She advised that she found some of that had dripped into the Drip pan in the freezer section and had run down to the backside of the unit. She advised that since then they have had really bad smells coming from the back of the refrigerator. I tested the ice dispenser and found it making a popping sound when it was trying to dispense and no ice was coming through. I inspected the Ice container and auger and did not find any of them stripped completely. I just assembled the unit and found that the spring had been missing from the driveshaft, potentially causing this issue. The customer requested that we clean out the drip pan underneath the refrigerator due to the smell because she could not get access to it. I wanna head and cleaned out the drip pan but did tell her that there were sections of the drip pan that I could not reach. She advised that the ice that was in the container has taken three days to make which ended up being not even a quarter of the ice container. The assistant advised that they typically run all of their cleaning supplies (towels, uniforms, rags, mop heads, etc.) through the washer at the end of the day. They advised that they are typically running about 3 to 5 loads a day. I checked with the claims department to see if we could get them covered was advised that whirlpool would not cover them for this repair due to the commercial environment. I called Whirlpool trade care team and spoke to Annette SR# 7739134610. She advised that they could not cover the repair and that the customer would need to use a commercial washer for what they need. Call complete."

Arrived on site for a dryer that is flashing an F3 E2 (moisture sensor;open or shorted) error code. I ran the unit into diagnostics and confirmed the customers error message. I tried to run an auto cycle and found that the dryer would shut off when I opened the door to test the moisture sensor. I checked Continuity from the main control to the moisture sensor harness. Found proper continuity. I checked the moisture sensor and found it showing open and would make and break if I rubbed my finger across the moisture sensor bars. I spoke to SW and was advised that the issue would be with the main control. I replaced the main control and tested the unit. I found the unit working and operating as designed. Call complete.

Arrived onsite for a dryer that will not dry clothes correctly on any auto cycle and it makes noise. I tested the dryer and it sounds normal at this time. I had the customer listen and he agreed it sounded normal. I did move it and remove stuff from behind it that was possibly causing the noise. I could not get the dryer in diagnostics to allow me to open the door and test the moisture sensors. I tried a back door thru the control and it would fail as soon as encoder appeared on the display. I called techline and spoke with Austin SR 7739273881. Austin had me check continuity and resistance on the sensor circuit and it showed open with nothing across it and open during the continuity test with a wet rag across them and giving a mega ohm reading with resistance. Arrived on site to test unit for incorrect wiring on dryer. Upon inspection found multiple wires have exposed wires due to wires rubbing on metal components and rubbing thru the insulation. "Arrived on site to diagnose refrigerator with damaged door and issues cooling. Customer said at a couple points now there has been low / no ice production, and sometimes it works perfect. I checked average temps and found RC 35, FC -5. Customer told me that things in the freezer have also completely thawed out before, and the ice maker is struggling to keep up when heavily used. I did very a dent on the left door. I'm ordering the left door, ice maker, and main control to resolve unverified intermittent cooling. Arrived onsite for icemaker not producing ice. On inspection the ice bin was 75% full. Called the customer and said that it had started to make ice after the last tech was there. When I removed the icemaker it had just filled the tray with water and was 25% frozen. I reinstalled the icemaker and called for water and it filled up the tray. Called the customer and asked how long the trim on the fc door was lose because the door didnt close all the way with the door trim lose. I reinstalled the door trim on the fc door and the door close correctly now. He is going to dump the ice this weekend in see how well it works. No parts were installed.

"Arrived on site for a range that is not heating properly in the oven. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that every time she cooks, the cooking is wildly inconsistent. She states that sometimes items are raw in the middle and other times they are completely burned on the top. She advised that more often than not, it tends to burn. I ran the unit up to 350?F and found temperatures fluctuating between 329?F and 383?F averaging a temperature of 356?F. I watched the unit due to full cycles and found similar heating and cooling patterns. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Andrew SR# 7739275637. He advised that the temperature fluctuations were within range and designed to work this way. He did say that during the bake cycles, the bake and broil elements do come on so it is important that items are not too close to the broil element during the bake because it can burn items. He stated this is how the unit is designed to work and that there are no adjustments that can be made to adjust this unit more to the liking of the customer. He stated this is the programming of the unit and that the unit is working and operating as designed. Call complete. No parts were installed."

I placed my flashlight in the FC section and closed the door and found a gap in the FC door gasket top right corner at the center mullion (photo). I adjusted the mullion and cabinet in that upper right corner and filled the gaps in between the liner and cabinet with silicone and tested operations. I found the gasket is sealing properly and the unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed. W10841140"

"Arrived on site for washer not completing cycles. Upon arrival confirmed issue and found internal hinge holder of lid broken and lid not locking correctly as well as an f8e1 error in diagnostics. On arrival verified complaint of front left burner is missing. After verifiying model and serial I found the part number needed was the w11517959 per sub number. Attempted to install and found some of the spade connectors are arc melted and will need to be replaced as well as the 7959 burner is a dual burner and it needs a triple burner. Part will need to be researched. As well as needing correct main control and harness for burners. Office to reschedule ; O-emld tckt

Arrived onsite and found unit operating with nuisance tripping. GFCI breaker is being used. Advised customer that the manufacturer advises that gfci breaker is advised to cause nuisance tripping in the manufacturing literature. Advised using a non gfci breaker to eliminate nuisance tripping. Unit is wired correctly and voltage is correct. No parts used.

"Arrived on site to test unit for not cooling, tested unit found start device clicking, found compressor pulling 9.5 amps and shutting off on thermal, replaced start device but no change, compressor has a locked rotor and will need to be replaced, ordered compressor, dye drier, access valve, nitrogen and R600, rescheduled for 6/19 installed WPW10197428; ordrng 1 W11635510 (Compressor) and 1 WPW10143759 (Filter drier) and 1 W11506635 (Access valve) and 1 Nitrogen (Nitrogen) and 1 R600 (R600)"

"Arrived on site to inspect range control panel not working. Upon further inspection, I tested the panel buttons and all were responding properly. I placed the unit in diagnostics and checked error codes and found F1E0. Cleared the code and I tested both of the ovens and both are operating as designed. I advised the customer that the unit is operating as designed and to monitor the unit. I advised that the error code could have been from a power outage/surge and the panel keys not working couldve been due to moisture getting inside the control and then once it dried out, it began to function properly. No repairs needed at this time as unit is operating as designed. Job completed. No parts installed."

"Arrived onsite for a refrigerator to replace the previous diagnosed parts. I confirmed the compressor was failing mechanically and causing the amperage to rise and trip the overload after it would start running. I tapped the system and found it fully charged. I replaced the compressor and drier. I added an access valve to the new compressor. I used a W11504434 Lokring to mount the drier to the aluminum capillary tube. I vacuumed the system and charged it with 47 grams of R600A refrigerant. I tested the refrigerator and found I had good pressures and good refrigerant flow. All is working as designed. The refrigerator was in the maintenance shop and not connected to water. Call complete. INSTALLED WPW10143759 UV DRIER, W11506635 COUPLER ACCESS VALVE, and W11582592 COMPRESSOR."

Arrived on site for dryer not staying on and motor would shut off while ui display acted as though unit was still in operation. Upon arrival found motor windings had failed. Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not making ice and instead making ice sheets. Inspected unit and working area. Customer advised that she has had repairs done on this several times before and it seems to overfill during the fill portion of the cycle in the freezer container. I checked the icemaker and found no water present indicating there was not a leaking water valve. I went ahead and replaced the icemaker. I ran the unit through diagnostic testing and jumped the freezer icemaker. I found the unit harvest and fell as designed with no leaks present. The unit is working and operating as designed. Arrived onsite for washer making a grinding noise. On inspection this unit falls under the service bulletin W11686045. I replaced the clutch on the unit. Ran the unit in diagnostics mode and it completed with no issues Informed the customer to call if the noise continues. Installed new clutch W10721967

Due to the unit showing error code F3E3 and the outlet thermistor showing to be out of range, I removed and replaced the outlet thermistor, hi-limit thermostat and cutoff and inspected the element which was in good shape. "KDFM404KPS0 Arrived on site for unit making buzzing noise, not heating properly and rack folding down properly. Upon arrival, customer mentioned rear tine on lower rack is not propping upwards, making buzzing noise during wash cycle and not drying mid and top rack properly. Upon running overall checkup diagnostics, found buzzing noise to occur during the wash motor engaging. Need to replace W11416362 pump&motor upon next service visit. Proceeded to inspect unit and found water spitting out when closing door on the dry vent exhaust on outer door panel. Disassembled inner and outer door and found residue around the circular gasket. Cleaned area. Proceeded to inspect retainer tine and found one of the leg clips to be faulty (photo attached). Ordering W11736466 tine retainer. Office to reschedule. "Arrived onsite for washer not completing a cycle. Talking with customer it would finish some cycle and not others. Customer said during spin cycle she would heat a grinding noise. On inspection found a service bulletin W11686045 stating to change out the clutch. Installed clutch from truck stock w10721967. Ran diagnostics cycle with no issues, informed customer that it will act differently with clothes in the unit and to,let us know if the issue comes back."
