DRYER AMANA NED5800HW0 "Arrived onsite for unit making a buzzing small buzzing noise during operation. Tested unit. Heard small buzzing noise. Looked at unit. Found that the bottom right portion of the cabinet was bent in, took pic of damage. Found loose screw inside the unit and that the screw on the bottom left rear of the cabinet was loose, fixed issues but did not make much of a difference as far as the small buzzing noise. Called Tech line. Told them of issue with the cabinet as well as the side of the unit that was damaged. Said unit is past the 30 day cosmetic and unit is working as designed. Said the damage to the unit could have bent up the pan from underneath causing the small buzzing noise. Got Sr#7729938501. No other issues at this time. Job complete"

Upon rival I found an F5E1 error indicating a lid switch lock fault I didnt know about the lid switch and could not get any positive readings that indicated the unit was operating correctly I didnt check voltage going from the main control and found that it was trying to send the proper voltage I then replace a lid lock and reset and reassemble the unit and was able to verify then that the lid lock is fully functional Call complete

REFRIGERATOR FRIGIDAIRE PHS69EJSS0 Arrived on site for refrigerator thats still having a defrost issue. Inspected unit and work area. Was requested to take the amp draw off the heater when the unit was put in a defrost and found 0 A at the defrost heater. Tested voltage going to the defrost heater and found no voltage. Checked voltage from the freezer connector and found little voltage. Video chatted with SW and was asked to ohm out the heater. The heater read 30.1 ohms. Checked the defrost thermostat and found it closed while surrounded by ice. She then had me check continuity through the harness in the cabinet. We found the wires going to the defrost thermostat showing continuity but the brown wire on the heater showing open. She advised that that would make this unit non-repairable due to a broken wire inside the cabinet and this would be designated for non-repair.

Removed front panel and checked for voltage. Found 120v going into thermal fuse, but not coming out. Checked resistance of thermal fuse and found 480 ohms of resistance, when there should be almost none. This shows a bad thermal fuse. Replaced thermal fuse and retested. Unit powered on immediately. Verified bake and broil in top and bottom oven and all is working as designed. Call complete."

I ran the unit through diagnostics and found it filling with water. But the wash motor not engaging. I inspected the control and found the terminals for the power and wash motor were corroded. I cleaned off the terminal And reconnected the unit. I found good voltage at the control but the motor still not running. I inspected the wiring harness and found a break in the line for the wash motor. I repaired the line and the motor started running. I put the unit through a diagnostics cycle again and it went through no issues. Job complete. No water leaks detected."

Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the ice maker was replaced 4 days ago and does not dispense ice. I tested the dispenser and it is operating as designed. I found that that actual ice maker is not making ice as there were very few cubes in the bin. I placed the unit in diagnostics and checked error codes in test 56 and there were none. I tested the thermistor in test 58 and it is reading good. I tested harvest in test 57 and it operated as designed. I tested the emitter and receiver boards and found that they are reading incorrectly. Removed and replaced the boards rom my van stock (W10898445 & W10870822 ) and tested. Cycled power to the unit to reset controls. Unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Detached drain line from disposal and ran into bucket. Found unit is draining, but slowly. Vacuumed out the drain line and retested. Unit is draining faster, but still not super strong. Vacuumed out again and retested. Slightly stronger. Unit is fully draining the tub, so there was likely an oil or grease buildup. If issue happens again we need to replace the drain pump and also drain lines to eliminate slow drain. No water leaks found at time of service. Call complete."

REFRIGERATOR KITCHENAID KRMF606ESS01 Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that the ice melted in the icebox and it stopped making ice. Upon arrival I found the refrigerator turned off and both compartments at room temperature. Mr stated that when the unit stopped cooling correctly it was displaying a PO and they would reset it but it would come back every few minutes. Mr also stated there was a lot noise coming from the FC and it sounded like fan noise. I started the unit up and tested all the thermistors and they passed. I ran test 4 and all the sealed system components worked as designed and the evaporators were getting cold. I found no water in the bottom of either compartment. I explained to the customer that it sounded like the FC evaporator was having a defrost issue but at this time I cant run all of the test needed because the unit was at room temp. I checked the thermistor from the control and found it at 8kohms(36 degrees) while Incased in ice. The thermistor is not reading correctly. I also found the drip pan bowed upward in the middle. I defrosted the evaporator and installed a new evap motor harness. I reassembled the unit and shimmed the drip pan so it doesnt bow upwards anymore. I found the ice bucket completely full on arrival. I tested temps in the compartments and found the FC at -0.7 when set at 0 degrees and the RC at 36 when set at 37 degrees. I spoke with the customer and it was determined that the issue does not repeat itself on a regular timeframe but the customer was positive that when the unit stops cooling in both compartments, it will not start cooling again for at least 24 hours. I explained to the customer that we would need to check it when it was failing to narrow down whats failing and causing the issue. I gave the customer a list of things to watch for and listen for to help narrow down the possibilities.
