Arrived onsite for washer making loud noise during use. Upon inspection I found no error codes stored in the system. I ran auto diagnostics and on agitate I heard a abnormal screech or grinding noise. I tilted the unit and inspected the drive system. I found a plastic spring had made its way into the pulley shield and rubbed against the cam causing the noise. I removed the plastic spring and ran manual diagnostics for spin and agitate. Both sounded normal. The unit is working as designed at this time. Job complete.

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that was not cooling well. Upon arrival the customer said the freezer was losing cool first and then the refrigerator compartment followed. I checked temps and found the FC at 44?F and the RC at 51?F. I then put the unit into diagnostics mode and found all airflow components running as designed. I found the compressor running, but very weak. I also found the compressor will intermittently pause and kick back up. I then gained access to the evap and found an ice block on the top right side, and no frost pattern. This indicates a SS failure. I am ordering the SS parts. "Arrived on site to inspect oven not working. Upon further inspection, I found the control panel not responding. After a few attempts, I was able to get the unit into diagnostics. I checked error codes and found F1E0. Cleared the code and did a hard reset on the control. The control panel was not chiming when pressuring the keys. I found the key tone turned off in settings and turned it back on. Tested the unit on Bake at 350 degrees and the unit is operating as designed. Due to the error code, I recommended that the main control be replaced as stated in the tech sheet.

Arrived on site for oven not heating. I inspected the unit and work area. I tested the oven and found the ignitor not coming on. I gained access to the ignitor connector and found the ignitor showing 15 Mohms. I tested voltage to the ignitor when calling for heat and found 120 vac. I installed a new ignitor and tested the unit. It preheated to 350 when set and cycled an average of 353 degrees. The unit is working as designed. Job complete.

"Arrived on site for ice build on the top right of the fridge. I inspected the unit and work area. I found ice build up in the top right corner of the freezer door. I tested the door tracks and found the, pulling the door closed as designed. I found the fc fan not turning off when the door is opened and the light not coming on. I tested the switch and nothing changed. I forced the unit through a defrost and found the defrost heater coming on but the fc fan still running. I power cycled the unit and retested it. The fc switch now works and the light comes on. I put the unit back through a defrost, and found the fc fan turning off during defrost now. I spoke to the customer about the unit possibly needing a hv control. I told the customer that sometimes they need to be power cycle like computers to let the controls to reset. If they call back for the same issue they will need an hv control.

"Arrived onsite for washer making a loud screeching or grinding noise in spin. Upon inspection I found the unit un installed in the garage. I lifted the unit and inspected the gearcase. I found the cam, and pulley on the motor damaged and the belt shredding. I found yellow oil all over the cam. I attempted to remove the wash-plate but found it seized to the gear case. I spoke to CS and he advised ordering the gear case, basket, tub, washplate, hub, hub screws, filter, filter screws, belt, cam, actuator, and motor with 2 technicians and weighed for 2 hours for a full tub job. I also found the lid cracked badly so I will replace that as well.
