Arrived onsite for a refrigerator with a no ice condition. I found the refrigerator going thru a defrost so I worked on the dryer to give it time to finish. I had found the bale arm in the off position so I turned it on. When the FC reached 8 degrees the icemaker went thru a harvest and dumped the ice in the mold then it filled correctly. Ms stated she turned it off because it hadnt made any ice for days. I explained it could have been a defrost issue but at this time everything checks good. The unit is working as designed at this time.

Arrived on site to possibly install previous diagnosed part. I gained access to the front right ignitor and tested continuity through the line. I was only receiving milli ohms through the line. I replaced the ignitor and tested the unit. I found all burners sparking as designed. Job complete.

Arrived on site for washing machine making a weird noise. I inspected the unit and work area. I plugged the unit on and found the drain pump running when the unit was empty. I canceled the drain pump and blew through the pressure line. I cleared the line. I gained access to the gear case and found the capacitor leaking. I replaced the capacitor. I ran a diagnostic cycle and found the unit working as designed. Job complete.

Arrived on site to replace previously ordered parts for oven. Replaced blower and tested unit. Found all is functioning properly at this time.

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator water dispenser not working. Upon further inspection, I tested the dispenser and it failed. I removed the filter and retested and it continued to fail. I could hear a clicking noise coming from the back of the unit. I pulled the unit out and tested water pressure at the wall and its good. The ice maker is making good ice so its getting water. I emoted and replaced the dual valve and retested and still no water. Removed and replaced the inlet valve and still no water. I disconnected the water line from the valve to the filter head and tested and no water came out, but I could still hear the relay in the control clicking. I tested voltage at the control from P3-4 to P1-2 and got 121V. I tested voltage at the inlet valve and did not get 120V. Tested voltage at the dual valve and got the same results. I tested the P3-4 harness (violet) to the harness at the inlet valve just behind the splitter (diode assembly) and did not get any continuity. I contacted techline to get documented and spoke to Ed. Ed had me jump the valve connector and check for resistance and I found none. Ed advised that the harness is bad in the cabinet and deemed it non-repairable. Ed provided SR#7734063613. I advised the customer that the manufacturer would contact them early next week to discuss the next steps. I provided the customer with the SR and corrected the email address in the ticket. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect wall oven control panel display not reading. Upon further inspection, I found the display blank. I placed the unit in diagnostics and the display appeared and showed F2E1 error code.I removed and replaced the control panel and tested and unit is operating as designed. Job completed."

"Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. Due to the lokring failures at previous service call, I arrived to install the lokrings with the drier. Once I got the drier installed, I was tightening the needle to the drier and the cap tube popped from the bottom the chassis. After inspecting, I found the cap tube broke inside the cabinet. I contacted techline and spoke to Chris and advised of the complaint and repairs and current issue. Chris advised the unit is not repairable at this time and provided SR#7734067189. Chris advised to let the customer know that the manufacturer would contact them within 5 business days to discuss further. I advised my customer of the conversation with tech support. Unit placed back in its space and left unplugged and the water turned off. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived on site to diagnose a washer that is not draining. Found debris caught in pump and cleared out pump. Tested unit and found all is functioning properly at this time. No leaks were found at time of service.

"Arrived onsite for a dishwasher emitting a chemical smell. I did a visual check on all the inner door components, pumps, and wiring harness. I found no signs of anything getting hot or burning. I ran the service diagnostics cycle to get the heater to heat and I did get a smell from the element but the customer said that was not the same odor it puts off. Mr stated it is like a burning plastic smell. Mr stated its not just a smell but it will cause your eyes to burn. I did find some lime scale build up on the heater and tub due to hard water and pointed this out to the customer. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke with Chris SR# 7734065801. Chris said it is possible that the build upon the element could be causing the smell but the heater will not run long enough in diagnostics to catch it and would possibly need to see it from mid cycle to the end of a regular wash cycle. Chris stated there is no way to put this unit in a manual load test just for the heater. I called the Safety Team and spoke with Christina SR# 7734019432. I explained to Christina what I had found and that I had spoke with techline. Christina said if I cant replicate the problem while running the diagnostics cycle then there isnt anything they can do and advised to have the customer call the safety team. Call complete."

"Arrived onsite for a dryer making a swooshing sound. I ran the dryer unloaded and loaded with wet towels and could not get the dryer to make the noise Ms was hearing. I disassembled the dryer and visually checked the rollers, idler, belt, and burner ASSY. All looked normal. The unit is working as designed at this time. Call complete."

Arrived onsite for a dryer with the drum not turning smoothly and making a burning smell. Ms showed me the sound she was hearing and I found the noise was the blower and it was loud because the vent hose had come loose and she was smelling the heater. I installed the hose and tightened the clamps to prevent it from coming off. I also tested the vent to make sure it wasnt restricted and I vacuumed all the lint that had blown out behind the washer and dryer.

"Arrived on site for refrigerator needing previous diagnosed sealed system repair. Upon arrival recovered 3.7oz of refrigerant, installed needed parts then reassembled and pulled vac. "Arrived on site for a range that is not heating. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised the unit is completely dead and that they have checked the breakers to the unit. Found the whole unit completely dead. Checked voltage at the terminal block and found no voltage. Checked voltage at the plug and found the same issue. I did check all elements, TODs, and oven sensor and found them all within range. The customer advised that he knew that the breaker was on and would show me. We walked out to the breaker box and all the breakers were on. I did advise the customer that if the breaker was on but the outlet had no power, there would have to be an electrical supply issue from the breaker box to the plug.

Arrived onsite and found unit operating with failed drain pump. Found drain pump failed due to debris jamming pump. Repaired by replacing drain pump. All checks good.

"Arrived on site to inspect washer door locked and wont open. Upon further inspection, I was able to get the unit into diagnostics showing error codes F11, F24, and F95. Once unit began to test, I pressed the power button and the unit began to drain and the water valve continued to dispense water into the drum. I turned the water off to the unit and pressed and held the power button until the unit turned off. I called techline and spoke to Bruce and advised of the complaint, my findings and previous repairs. Bruce recommended to replace the main control and order from manufacturer fresh stock and provided SR#7734058480. I was unable to make contact with the customer (neighbor let me into the home to service), but the office JA made contact with them and provided information on the service. Arrived onsite for a venthood that will randomly turn on by itself. After speaking with Mr I found out that the lights or the fan will randomly turn on by themselves and when this happens the UI selection is lit up for whichever is running at the time. I disassembled the hood to gain access to the UI and found a lot of spider webs from very small spiders and I suspect this is what could had been causing the issue.

Arrived onsite to install previously diagnosed parts. Upon arrival I ran diag mode even though the control was flashing at me and all functions seemed to work well. I replaced control anyway and checked the water supply lines and found that there were some particulates in the water. I then installed new water inlet valves and tested unit and found unit operating as designed job complete. No leaks.

Arrived onsite for washer that would not respond to your inputs. Upon arrival I tested the u it and found that the unit would not respond to inputs. I power cycled unit several times and nothing changed attached to run a cycle and nothing happened. Which led me to believe that we control had failed. I installed new control and programmed it and tested unit several time and found that the unit was operating as designed.

Arrived onsite for dishwasher with broken wheels and stoppers. Upon arrival I replace 1 x W10888592 wheels and 1x WP8575897 and do the stoppers. Unit is operating as designed. Job complete.

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator water dispenser and ice maker not working. Upon further inspection, I tested the dispenser and could hear the valve opening, but no water was being dispensed. Customer scented replaced lathe water filter. I removed the filter and placed my bypass in its place and retested and got the same results. I removed the water line to the valve land tested water pressure and found almost none and there is a black watery substance coming from the valve at the wall (photo). I advised the customer of my findings and demonstrated there is no water pressure. No water leaks observed on the unit during service, job completed."

Arrived on site for a dryer not heating. Upon arrival the customer stated the unit has had no heat since install. I checked voltage at the wall and terminal block and found it only getting 93.5 volts. I informed the customer of my findings . The unit is working as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site to inspect range cooktop knob issues. Upon further inspection, I found the middle burner knob was broken and the customer had the new part. I found the metal inner sleeve was still on the valve stem and preventing the new knob from being installed. I removed the sleeve and installed the new knob. Tested the burner and it is operating as designed. No gas leaks detected during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site for a dishwasher blinking an error code. Upon arrival the customer stated the unit will also randomly make a grinding or rumbling noise. As soon as I closed the door on the unit it began rumbling. I gained access to the bottom of the unit and found it was the drain pump. Upon further inspection I found the float tray full of water. I emptied this and then put the unit into diagnostics mode. I found stored error codes F9E2 for drain electrical problem and F8E4 for float switch open. I then ran a diagnostics cycle and found it ran through as designed. I could not replicate any failure at the time of service. I found the customer using pods with powder detergent, and recommended using a normal liquid detergent due to possible over sudsing. The customer then stated they had been putting more rinse aid in the unit every cycle. I let them know that doing that is more than likely the cause of the oversuds, and I walked them through proper rinse aid usage per the user care guide. The unit is as designed and no leaks were observed at the time of service. Call complete."

Arrived on site for washer not agitating. Upon arrival confirmed compliant. After further testing I found f8E1 error code. I then ran diagnostics tests and found all functions irking except for cold fill setting. Found clog in filter on valve. After removing clog I found inlet valve allowed cold water into unit and unit could fully complete a cycle without restarting. Informed customer of unit status. Found no leaks during repairs or tests. Call complete

Arrived for moisture in ice maker area. Observed excessive moisture throughout ice maker system and ice maker housing was incorrectly installed Corrected the ice maker housing. Adjusted the cabinet and doors.

Arrived on site for washer that head overfilled and flooded. Upon arrival confirmed complaint complaint and found f8e3 in diagnostics. Upon further testing I found no breaks or kinks in pressure hose and found no crackers or failures in tub asm. Replaced both valves and reset and tested unit. "Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed parts. Upon removing the panel I found it bowed at the top. I verified with management to go ahead with the install in the hopes of the bow straitening out, but it did not and still has a very light bow. He didnt want to have me check the unit just to make sure everything else was working good. Checked temperatures and found the freezer at -1?F. I answered all the customers questions and the unit is working as designed. Call complete.

Arrived on site for a dryer that is making grinding noise. Inspected unit and works area. Did confirm the customers complaint and found what sounded like the blower wheel hitting against the housing. Did confirm the customers complaint. Replaced the blower wheel and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete.

Arrived on for washing machine leaking. I inspected the unit and work area. I ran a diagnostic cycle and found the water valve leaking. I lifted the lid and found a color sheet blocking one of the water funnels on the tub ring causing it tonover flow. I removed the sheet. And replaced the water valve. The unit is now working as designed job complete.

Arrived on site to possibly install previous diagnosed parts. I tested the unit and found the front left knob not engaging the harness. I pulled the knob grommet and plastic shield and found the harness not clipped into the valve properly. I reconnected the harness to the valve and retested the unit. It is now working as designed. Arrived on site for microwave not powering on. I inspected the unit and work area. I tested the outlet and found no power. I reset the breaker and still found no power at the outlet. I plugged the microwave into another outlet and found it powering on. I tested the microwave and found it working as designed. I advised the customer to inspect the outlet and breaker. Job complete.

Arrived on site for icemaker not producing ice. I inspected the unit and work area. I cycled the ice maker and found it not filling. I pulled the fill tube and found it frozen over. I removed the ice and sealed the fill tube to the back of the fridge using food grade silicone. I reassembled the unit and ran another cycle. I found thebice maker cycling and filling this time. Arrived on site for water dispenser not working. I inspected the unit and work area. I found the evaporator cover loss. I also found the water reservoir frozen over. I used foil tape to seal the fan scroll to the air tunnel. I Installed the evaporator cover with new screws. The cover and fan scroll are now sealing properly. Job complete.

Arrived on site for refrigerator icemaker. Inspected unit and work area. CX complaint is icemaker has broken and there is plastic pieces in the ice. I inspected ice tray and found it cracked. Arrived on site for ice machine. Inspected unit and work area. Tested unit in diagnostics and set my multimeter to amp draw and it was at 2.7amp. Unit is just not cooling and will need a sealed system repair. Also as I was inspecting the unit found water leaking from water valve. I left unit unplugged and turned off at the water valve from wall. Leaks where observed during service.

Arrived on site for refrigerator not cooling. Upon arrival confirmed complaint and found major defrost issue in fc side of unit. Found thermistor failing. Replaced ui control and thermistor after removing all ice from unit. Informed customer to give ui a full 24 hrs to stabilize temps. Call complete

Arrived on site for washer inspected unit and work area. Tested unit and found bad water valve that had disintegrated. I replaced a valve and entered in diagnostics and found stored error codes F8E3 F9E2 F0E3 F2E1. I cleared all error codes and then ran a diagnostics cycle. Everything checked good. Unit is operating as designed. No leaks where observed during service. Job completed.

Arrived on site for washer not starting. Upon arrival I entered diagnostics and found f7e5 error. Upon further testing I found optical sensor in actuator failing. Replaced actuator the. Reassembled and tested unit. Found unit functioning as designed with no leaks. Call complete

Customers digital thermometer is reading 56? there is no food items in the fresh food section to take a reading from. Spoke with techline and they said cavity thermistor may be out of range. Recommended that homeowner defrost refrigerator for 48 hours and then allow it another 24 hours to cool. If this corrects experience no further repair is needed. "Arrived to perform Technical Service Pointer #: W11540964, Special Project code S17304. I removed and replaced the heating element with the copper colored washers and noted corrosion was taking place. I tested the unit per the TSP instructions and there were no leaks observed. I verified heating as well. Leaks observed during service."

Washer walking during operation. During inspection found the shipping bolts were still installed and I removed them. I tested within service test mode and the unit operated as designed. No leaks observed during service.

Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not cooling properly and has a broken shelf. Inspected unit and work area. Confirm the customers complaint but found the refrigerator and freezer at proper temperatures. Found no evidence of any defrost issue. Found in the freezer sitting at 2?F and the refrigerator sitting at 37?F. Customer advised that they may have left the door open for an extended period of time causing the issue. Did check and verify that the shelf was broken. Spoke to claims and was advised that shelving is not included as part of their warranty. The customer will just deal with it for now and does not want a replacement. Call complete.

Arrived on site to diagnose a dryer that is taking too long to dry. Found external venting clogged preventing airflow through unit. Advised homeowner on findings and that screen on outside of home is too fine and may clog repeatedly causing failure to unit and fire hazard issue. Unit not to be ran until venting issue is resolved.

Arrived on site to diagnose a washer that is not cycling properly. Found shifter not connected to cam assembly and replaced it with updated part. Tested unit and found all is functioning properly at this time. No leaks were found at time of service.

Arrived on site for an ice maker with a screw that fell off the hinge. Upon further inspection ai found the spacer and screw came loose from the door bin. I put it back on and the unit was now as designed.
