I then put unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error codes F2E1 (I could not find this error code on tech sheet). I found a fast continuous drip coming from sump when running test cycle. Upon further inspection I found a bad seal on the sump and I could not get it to seal properly. We will need to order and replace the sump and motor again. I found that the evap fan motor would not turn on, and that the start device would click and turn on the compressor for only a few seconds. I found 120V going to start device and the compressor ohmd out correctly. I gained access to the FC evap and there was visible burn on liner, harness, and cap tube on upper right hand corner of FC. You could also hear the evap whistling and spilling refrigerant. There was a service tap on compressor as well, indicating prior sealed system service. A sealed system and evap fan motor/harness will be needed to complete repair. . will need compressor, service tap, dye drier, FC evap, and evap fan motor/harness. Call complete."

I tested temps in FC at 8°F (after being opened for several seconds), RC at 35°F, and ice box at 12°F. While checking temps in ice box I could hear and feel the ice box fan turn on. I ran through the diagnostics mode and activated each component separately. I found stored error code for ice maker E5 for timed ice making. I ran IM motor and it harvested fine. The customer stated that they cleaned the tubes recently. I found the recirculating pump tube was disconnected from the pump. I re connected and the pump pushed water up and over the evaporator. Due to the condition and dirtiness of the tube the customer asked me to replace it. I replaced the tube and tested the unit. I found the evaporator ice cold and water flowing over the plate. The unit is working as designed at this time and no leaks were detected during time of service. I advised the customer to monitor ice production today and tomorrow.

Cleared the codes and continued with testing. Unit operated as designed. I retested in diagnostics and tested the float switch by moving the lever up and down and in doing such, the switch was engaged causing the water to turn off and on. I found that the customer has a water softener and is using too much detergent causing too many suds and raising the float device and causing the water to shut off. I made recommendations for detergent and rinse aid use as well as use and care recommendations. I contacted the owner of the home and advised of my findings. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

REFRIGERATOR ELECTROLUX EI32AF65JS1 Arrived on site for refrigerator making loud noises but according to the customer had never stopped cooling since previous repair. Upon arrival I was able to narrow down that the noise was coming from inside the compressor and I found the high side upon arrival to be at 1:20 and the low side at -15. I also cracked up in the dryer to verify if there is any visual damage or anything that could indicate what was going on as instructed by SW. But upon further inspection I found that the beads inside the dryer were a PG orange color indicating that everything so far is fine and sealed system and the war any restrictions I didnt replace the UB dryer after getting AHS authorization from office. Die then recharge the system after a 20 minute vacuum. To ensure there are no restrictions and was able to get the pressures to be at 170 and zero by the time the coals completed and at no point did I replicate the loud noise the compressor was making pot arrival alt

I removed the filter and plugged in the bypass. The unit dispensed water as designed. I put the filter back in and I could hear water entering it. I let the dispenser run and found pressure built up in the filter housing. The cause must have been too much pressure to the filter head. The unit is working as designed at this time and no leaks were detected during time of service. I advised the customer to flush the system for at least 2 gals to remove any charcoal sediment from the filter. Job complete.

DRYER MAYTAG MEDB855DC4 Arrived on site for a dryer that wont start. He advised that she wanted the unit looked at but he doesnt think that theres anything wrong with it. Inspected unit and work area. Placed unit in service diagnostics and found an F4 E3 (restricted airflow) error code. Checked behind the unit and found the vent hose restricted due to getting crunched by the dryer. Fixed vent hose and tested the user interface test. Everything is working as designed. Tested the unit by starting a normal dry cycle four times and then it started as designed. I advise the customer that it appears that everything was working just fine. I did advise that she needs to make sure shes using her finger to touch it not poking at it or putting pressure on the user interface as it sometimes will not register. I also explained that the unit takes the heat off the finger. Customer advised that his wife has cold hands and that that was probably why she couldnt start it. Call complete.
