"Arrived on site to inspect washer leaking water. Upon further inspection, I found water on the floor at the front lower left corner of the unit. Customer had just finished a load of wash prior to my arrival. I found water streaks coming from the dispenser area and going down past the door hinge and running under the door down to the floor. I removed the dispenser drawer and found water puddled at the opening of the dispenser. Placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and tested. Unit is operating as designed. Per service pointer #W11481731, the dispenser needs to be replaced due to it leaking. . I removed and replaced the dispenser assembly and retested and unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed at the end of service, job completed."

"Arrived to inspect stuck key error. I verified the issue and removed and replaced the UI assembly. During replacement, I found the connector lock for the main control had been broken and even though would not contribute to the key press issue, I elected to replace it to prevent further failure potential due to loss of main to UI communications. The unit required the five plugging cycling to clear factory wifi settings and I replaced the controls one at a time, after the reset for the UI. Operational test good, steam dryer and in leaks observed during service."

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is still flashing an F2 E2 (HMI disconnected) error code. The customer advised that after the previous visit, the unit had acted up for a few days. He then advised that he unplugged it for several days and the unit has been working since. I called whirlpool Techline and spoke to Andrew SR# 7733712892. He advised that because the issue is so intermittent, the issue would have to be with their electrical supply having intermittent issues with grounding or polarity. Advise that since this is happened to two units in a row, theres no way that the issue Hass to be with the unit. He advised to help me tell the customer to use an extension cord for another outlet for a little while and see if the issue persists before any further service will be done. I spoke to PR for further advisement on the repair. Was told to adhere to tech lines request from the customer due to this ongoing problem. Advised the customer of Techlines findings and the customer will call back if their issues persist after switching plugs. Call complete."

Upon further inspection I found the metal tub extremely loose and moving freely. This was allowing the tub to dip and rub against the gasket when spinning. I gained access to the motor bolt and found it tight/secure. This indicates the tub separating from the spin assembly. I advised the customer to reach out to LG.

I showed the customer where it says this in the user manual. I turned the unit back on and waited for it to begin cooling. I found the unit cooling and getting a good frost pattern. Upon arrival confirm complaint and found compressor not pumping in the refrigerator and I was able to cover 4.75 ounces of refrigerant. I then installed compressor UV dryer and access port and then reassembled and reprogram the control board and put a vacuum on the unit and found no signs of leaking. Then recharge system at 4.75 ounces of refrigerant and allowed unit to run and found pressure stabilizer zero and 150 with no signs of leaks. Inform customer to give unit 24 hours to cool. "Arrived to inspect ice issue. Early testing revealed the fill valve was obstructed and there was very little flow. The unit was missing the back cover, a,lowing excessive flow of hot air around the chassis. I used cardboard to correct the cover issue and r/r the valve assembly. I watched the unit produce a slab and it was nice and clear and approximately 3/8-1/2 thick. Unit is equipped with a lit pump and not required in this installation. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service.

"Arrived to inspect lights out. I found the upper lights in the RC were out and the FC light, as well. I removed and replaced the left rear light and the issue was resolved. I removed and replaced the LED control due to a flicker while testing. I found the left door hinge was badly bent down and that caused the initial issue with the mullion and was still causing it to not engage correctly into the chassis. The issue also caused the ice bin gasket to not fully contact the fascia and after correcting the hinge, all issues were corrected. I squared the chassis and set the right door height. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service."

"Arrived to instal previously diagnosed and ordered parts. I removed and replaced the outer door skin and the four internal rack slides due to corrosion. I discussed detergent type and amounts with the CX and advised against using the pre-measured tablets or pods. I tested within service test mode and the unit had 9-4 as the only error code stored. The unit does not have an internal light, so I ignored and cleared the code. I found the rinse agent set at the factory setting or A3 and I set it to the preferred setting for area water of A1. The over dispensing of A3 likely contributed to the excessive detergent/corrosion appearance of the units internal items. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service."

Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the water dispenser will sometimes dispense water but slow to start but then it wont turn off. When I went to turn the water on at the wall, I found a large rust spot on the upper right corner of the back panel (photo). I felt of the spot and found the rusted metal was very weak to where I could press on it and the metal would give to the point to where I can almost press my finger through the rust spot. Only water leak found is at the back panel from condensation. Job completed."

I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested and the unit operated as designed. I found dry water streaks under the unit door (photo) and advised that the door bellow (gasket) is leaking. Customer advised that they have cats and has pulled their hair from the bellow drain area due to the drain area not draining properly. I ran diagnostics again and allowed the drum to fill with water before starting agitation and the door never leaked. I made recommendations for use and care, as well as, detergent use being as the customer has a water softener system. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."
