"Arrived on site to replace previously diagnosed parts on wall oven combo, upon arriving I found that the console was unresponsive to selections after a couple of options were selected, I found that the console needs to be replaced per previous tech. I gained access to the hinges and interlock and found that they are actually operating properly and the console is causing the intermittent issues to the unit. I gained access and removed the console and replaced it, I informed the customer that they would need to connect to wifi on the unit using the whirlpool app otherwise they would run into more intermittent issues on the console. I informed the customer of the WiFi connect team and showed her what she would need to do to start the process. Unit is operating properly as designed now aside from needing a proper wifi connection. "Arrived on site for a refrigerator losing cool. Upon arrival the customer stated that they have had the unit serviced by a prior company, and they thawed out the freezer compartment. They found this helped, but only worked for a few months and then frosted back up. They started losing cool again. I checked temps and found the RC at 51?F and the FC at 9?F. Upon further inspection I found the evap cover covered in ice. I gained access to the evap and the defrost control. I jumped the defrost control and found the unit would go into a defrost, and voltage was being sent to the heater. I found that the defrost control would not progress on its own. I found the element and defrost thermostat worked as designed. This indicates a faulty defrost control. I installed the new control and the unit is now working as designed. I thawed out the evap with my steamer, but could not get all of the ice on the back of the evap. I advised the customer to keep the unit off for at least 24 hours to allow the remaining ice to thaw. I disassembled the control panel and found one of the timer mounts was broken not securing the timer to the panel. Tested the unit by turning the timer and pulling the knob out and the only thing the unit would do was fill with water. I tested voltage at the motor control to the lid switch and found it getting 120V. Tested on drain & spin and left it turned on for 10+ mins and the unit failed to operate. "Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed parts. Inspected unit and work area. Removed evaporator cover and checked resistance through the heater. Found the resistance of the heater at 29.8 ohms. Checked resistance through the freezer wire harness and through the heater and found proper resistance. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Anthony SR# 7732129406. He had me check continuity between both yellow wires from the cabinet that we?re going through the thermal fuses and the heater to make sure that both fuses weren?t knocked out. We did not find continuity between that whole circuit meaning the issue with what would?ve been with one of the fuses. He did advise that generally speaking when technicians steam off or use a heat gun to remove ice around the evaporator, it can blow one of the thermal fuse is due to the high temperature of the water, steam, or heat. He asked me to check voltage and service test 89 to ensure that the plug at the freezer harness was still getting proper voltage. I gave the freezer thermistors an ice bath for a few minutes and entered into service test 89. Found only 16 V going through between both yellow wires at the freezer harness plug. He had me verify that by checking between each lined and ground and found only 4 V AC coming through both lines. He then had me check voltage at the control to make sure that it was sending proper voltage to the heater. Checked voltage at the control and found 120 V AC going to the heater. He vented had me check one more time at the harness connector in the freezer to ensure that we were not receiving proper voltage and received the same figures.He advised at that time that there Hass to be a break in the wire harness inside the cavity of the refrigerator due to the fact that the control is sending proper voltage to the heater but there is no voltage at the freezer connector.

Arrived onsite to replace spark igniter. Upon trying to get to the igniter to replace the part. The unit is difficult to pick up and work on the unit as the installation will not allow for the unit to be picked up and out easily to work on it. Took pic of the issue. Removed cover to inspect harness beneath freezer door. All wires looked good and no damage was present. Gained access to ice maker and found ice mold had cubes inside. Ran an ice harvest and motor twisted tray allowing ice cubes to fall. I heard the water fill the ice mold while I was diagnosing it. Found a small amount of ice on the tip of the water fill tube, but nothing to prevent water from traveling through line to fill ice mold. No leaks detected. Job completed."

"Arrived on site for Just installed this week, ran dishwasher 3 times. Took 4+ hours to run, when light showed clean opened and as if the dishwasher had not ran. Steam in dishwasher, but dishes are as dirty as put in. Dishes don't even seem wet. Placed in diagnostics and got F7E1, F10E2, and F8E4. Checked junction box and was getting 120. Checked float switch and there was no standing water and connector was connected properly. Tried running diagnostics and drain pump ran and water filled but wash motor just hummed. Cancelled diagnostics cycle and gained access to the control. All connections were seated properly and vent wax motor was connected too.

Arrived onsite for door not opening all the way. Tested unit and found instillation was caught in the left door hinge. Cleared the instillation from the left door hinge. Pulled the unit from the counter and secured the instillation. Tested the unit and unit works good. Job complete

Arrived on site for STOPPED MID WAY THRU AND THERE IS STANDING--NOT ABLE TO RESET OR START OVER OR GET IT TO DRAIN just appears dead right now but there is power to the unit. Found dishwasher was getting g 120 but wouldnt turn on. Found top right torque screw was missing. Two other torque screws that hold in console were loosely secured. Once console was removed I found two of the plastic mounts the torque screws mount into were gone and one was rattling around inside console. Only one mount was still there holding the console in place. Tested bi-metal and it had failed. Explained to customer these gaps and loose fit was allowing steam and hot air into the console making the bi-metal fail.

Arrived on site for dishwasher not starting. I inspected the unit and work area. I found fault code f7e2 variable speed motor fault. I put the unit through a diagnostics cycle. I found the unit filling but the wash motor not engaging. I am ordering the sump and motor assembly to complete the repair. "Arrived on site for a range that turn itself off and kicked on the fan. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the end it was flashing an F1 error code. He did advise that he tested it again afterwards and it did not replicate the issue the second time but felt like there was something going on with the unit. Tested the unit on a bake cycle at 350?. The unit deadbeat wants it reached a breaking temperature. Tested temperatures and found the unit sitting at 346?F. I increased the temperature to 400?F and ran the unit for another 25 minutes. The unit was cycling between 379?F and 420?F. I turn the unit off due to not being able to replicate the issue and attempted to cool down the oven cavity babe opening the door. Found the fan that was running was the fan at the controls to keep the controls from overheating. After 6 to 7 minutes, the unit began to flash an F1 error code. I spoke to SW and was advised that the most likely issue with the unit since the unit was holding proper temperature was an issue with the control board. ; ordrng 1 74004349 (cntrl-elec)"

"Arrived on site for NOTHING COMES ON NO POWER AT ALL - WOKE UP EVERYTHING IS OFF. Found oven had no power and breaker was on. Turned off breaker and gained access to thermal fuse. Thermal fuse had no continuity and had shorted out. Found gasket was kinked in the bottom left corner and flattened all the way around. Flattened gasket was allowing heat to travel into UI and control causing thermal fuse to short. Tested oven by using jumper across thermal fuse connectors and oven is heating as designed and blower is blowing. Powered down oven and requested customer not turn on breaker until we return. thermal fuse (WPW10545255) and door gasket (WPW10282960)Ordering thermal fuse and gasket to return and complete the repair. by CC.
